He came out to look at our job, and honestly assessed the situation as not within his scope of expertise. We appreciated his honesty and his description of the problem. We would definitely call him again for other jobs that he is more suited for. He was friendly, attentive and easy to talk to.

Lou and his Son replaced rusted steam pipes and tuned up our boiler recently. The work was beyond my expectations. I found Lou to be down to earth and user friendly throughout the process. He did not try to sell me anything but pointed out how some things need cleaning instead of just replacing them. I will call on him again!

They came and fixed the problem

Tried to get a quote over the phone as a ballpark, and they would not provide. I assumed pricing would not be insane, but they quoted $4,500 and I “lost” $100 and 5 hours of waiting instead of just knowing I would not have wanted them out if they were going to charge insane prices. The other company quoted $2400 for the same service. Use Sin City Plumbing instead.

We had a water leak in an upstairs bathroom and needed a trustworthy repair company. Thistle DKI came out quickly and we were immediately impressed by their professionalism. Our technician Robert was very thorough and knowledgeable and really went the extra mile to check for hidden damage, mold, and water build up. He explained everything as he went along and I learned quite a few things from him. I know that they are busy, but I was was impressed that he took the extra time to make sure that we understood every step of the process.

We had been thinking about updating the bathroom and felt so good about Thistle DKI that we decided to go with them for the remodel (since we were already doing repairs.) I'm glad we did. We stripped the bathroom all the way down to the framing and updated the plumbing, fixtures, lighting, and installed a new high tech shower system. It was a big job. The job supervisor Boston Joe McGonagle was a delight and he stayed right on top of the job throughout the process. Even though we tore out everything, they always put down plastic sheeting and hung barriers so things stayed surprisingly clean. Every subcontractor that came out for Thistle was also excellent: the plumber, electrician, framers- a strong team.

In the end the work was beautiful, the cost was reasonable, and we were happy. The only problem is that I can't get the kids out of the new bathroom. Great job!!!

Quick resolution to my plumbing issue. Reasonable cost in comparison to other plumbers. Will definitely keep them in my contacts to use again.

This was the first time I've used the electrician side of YES. Glad I did. They arrived within an hour of my call. The technician Sean was great! Friendly & courteous! He fixed the electrical issue I was having quickly at a fair price. I'd recommend these folks!
