I looked at three other companies and somehow landed on Jake the Plumber website. I'm glad I did because everyone was friendly and they asked the right questions before coming to our home in Woodbury. Stu was very fun and informative! Pricing seemed fair, still expensive though. We will definitely use this company again!!

Ironwood plumbing gave me not only a trade, an education, and an ongoing support system that is not limited to an HR department or a manager or CEO or even a site Foreman. Ironwood Plumbing has gone out of its way as a whole to provide instruction encouragement and training necessary for not only clearing a drain but clearing a brain ,finding leaks and and strengthening the weak. It's a family at Ironwood Plumbing and everybody's focused on doing a good job for the owners clients and for ourselves there's a sense of pride that goes with ironwood we get it done.... OverTime is a good time. ironwood Plumbing gets it done.

The water tank in two of our bathrooms needed repair because of loss of water due to mechanical problems. A person from Miller Plumbing came to take a look at the toilette tanks. He proceed to tell me that he was going to charge me $39.00 for the visit and also said something to the effect that it would cost me $379.00 to fix the bathrooms. I guess it was my misunderstanding but even the price quoted was quite steep to fix the leaking problems in the tanks. Furthermore, he said that he would be returning soon to fix the issues with the toilettes. In fact, he came the next day in the morning. To my surprise, once he was finished with the job, he proceeded to bill me for another $727.00 on top of the deposit of $100 that I had paid him the previous day. I assume that the fixtures that he bought to replace the ones that are in the bathroom could not have been much higher than $50. That means that I paid about $750 for Miller Plumbing for less than an hour's time of one of its employees. That's the time he took to fix the plumbing. I told the person the the price was outrageous but he told me that is the price to fix a bathroom, 379 for each, plus $39 for the visit and the rest for the fixtures that were provided. Highway robbery to say the least. If you are looking to fix anything in your bathroom keep away from Miller Plumbing. I could have bought two new toilette bowls and have them installed for the price that I paid to fix some minor plumbing issues. I tried to put a stop payment on the check but it was too late to do so. If I could give less than a star to Miller Plumbing I would gladly give it to them.

I took the day off so that I'm home when the work is being done, just to find out that they cannot make it due to other work backed up and asked if I could reschedule for another day. Never happened to us with other services. Very unprofessional.

First of all, I'd like to say I absolutely dread having to deal with this company! I have to endure their HORRIBLE SERVICE each and every time because our landlords contract with them. I'm so over this plumbing company. They are pushy, sloppy, inconsiderate, sneaky and liars. DONT USE THEM! I think I've been pretty lenient with them and fair. I'm just not use to such poor customer service and blatant disrespect I'm constantly receiving from these people. They are supposed to make things easier not always add another problem. First two times they came out, besides ruining the landscape, they begged me to run their extension cords from my apartment to be able to work. So I'd have to have my side door propped open all day or pop my screen open so they could work for the day. During this one of the employees was letting himself in through my front door while I was trying to get changed. I had to throw something over before the door opened and he was like sorry I didnt realize anyone was home. Um you could knock or ring the bell... I'm the same apartment your using for the electricity (which I never charged them for). Then they come out again to replace a leaking water heater and were leaving the discusting molding base. Had management talk to them about it and all they did was a quick wipe and continued to work. Then during this visit the employee went and used my bathroom without asking; I was a bit uncomfortable because I had my delicates out but he seemed quick about it and then left. I went in there later after he'd gone and noticed he peed all over the place: seat, top of the tank, on my baby wipes bag, and the wall... I was so disgusted. I called the property manager and asked her to have them call me to apologize because this was outrageous! So the supervisor/manager called me and asked me 21 questions if there were other men in the house or boys and saying it couldn't be true because they make their employees pee in a bucket in their truck! Gross! I was uncomfortable telling him my living situation and assured him it was no one else. After his very inappropriate investigation he apologized. Again they had to come out because the sewer line was clogging up and I hoped it was an easy fix and then they could go. My husband happened to be home to deal with them. They told him that it was a simple task of cleaning sewage line and done. In the middle of their simple task the plumber came up to my husband and said his tool broke; he said he would have to come back next week ( Monday Dec.16th) that he would provide a rubber stopper in the meantime. The plumber's manager/supervisor comes in to check out the problem and has him finish the job. He lied about his broken tool because he seemed to be able to continue working... what happened? He broke our tub drain switch. They took out the drain switch and replaced it with a regular overflow cover and gave us a dirty USED rubber stopper! They left without a word. We weren't even told what happened so we assumed all was fine until we checked out the tub. I called them and asked them what was going on and when we would get our switch drain replaced. Manager/supervisor said it was already broken, that the bolt broke off (which is a lie, because we recently used it without an issue). He said he would talk to our property manager to see if they wanted to replace it because its expensive. So the property manager wont pay for it since its the company's fault and the company wont pay. I have pictures of the mess they leave of every time they come to work. Please, please take my word for it. From someone who has nothing to gain since I'm forced to deal with them regardless of what I say. They dont seem to care for their customers so I just want to save someone from the hell we have had to deal with. The funniest thing is their website says we can count on their plumbing professional experts. Ha! Where? Thank you for taking the time to read about the disaster that is Orange Plumbing and Rooters!
