1/2018: We discovered our water heater was leaking water and contacted Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing. Miguel responded quickly and let us know our water heater was failing and would need to be replaced (it lasted well beyond its lifetime). Our previous install had been a do-it-yourself and wasn't up to code. He replaced our water heater and it's comforting to know it was installed correctly and meets all the safety requirements. We'll definitely call them the next time we have plumbing issues.

Update: (3/2019)The thermostat in our water heater went out on a Saturday. We called Blue Planet and they advised we contact the manufacturer of our water heater. We did and they sent us the part. Tuesday we received the part in the morning. I called Blue Planet and we got an appointment for that same afternoon. The tech showed up on time and my husband commented on what a nice guy he was. I was happy to come home to hot water!

Showed up quickly at night and resolved our main blockage quickly for a reasonable price with a 30 day warranty. Friendly as well!

We just had Jack from Fix Plumbing & Drains come by to help us fix our bathroom sink, it wasn't draining at all. Our property management wasn't able to fix the problem yesterday so they organized for this plumbing company to come by. We had a wonderful experience. A woman called this morning to schedule a time frame for Jack to come by. She called when he was on his way over as well to give us notice. He arrived within the time slot and was very friendly, professional and considerate (he wore his mask the entire visit, which is important to me during the current pandemic). He fixed the problem within an hour, communicated with us what was going on and how he fixed it when we asked, and made sure to clean up the mess afterward before leaving. The most professional, honest, and hard working home services company I've ever worked with. We had a pipe burst and Bill Howe's mitigation team sprung into action, immediately sending out people to dry out the rooms affected, worked directly with the insurance company, do the demolition and most of the repairs, and gave us honest and helpful advice and estimates for the entire restoration process. Always easy to contact with a main switchboard always available and direct emails and text messages to those involved. We had a couple of scheduling snafus and one portion of tile repair that wasn't up to our satisfaction, but Bill Howe gracefully and professionally responded to both concerns, and the rest of the project went smoother than I could have imagined an emergency repair in the middle of COVID could go. Huge thanks to Cassandra, Jerren, and Jimmy for going above and beyond.

James Padgett was great! He was knowledgeable of my water issue and was able to fix it immediately once he had the part. He also recommended other fixes to plumbing issues I didn't even initially call him about. I will go to James and 24/7 Rooter for any plumbing problems in the future and I recommend you do too!

Hector was great. Very communicative and friendly and got right to work. It was raining and he worked right through it to make sure the sink clog and pipe maintenance was completed quickly and effectively. Would HIGHLY recommend Discount Plumbing for any plumbing needs as I will be a returning customer no questions asked.

Miguel did a great job, kept me informed on what was needed including sending me pictures since I was not onsite.
I will definitely use him and recommend him in the future.

Quick resolution to my plumbing issue. Reasonable cost in comparison to other plumbers. Will definitely keep them in my contacts to use again.

Had to replace our electric water heater. Got a crazy high quote from a competitor. Christian came and did a great job installing the new water heater. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing. I would have no problem recommending these guys.

Before calling, I had (3) plumbers come out to solve my problem but they were not able to take care of it. So, I called and spoke to Paulie, I was impressed by their knowledge and the turn around time to come out and take care of our problem. Once they arrived they had it fixed within 15-20 mins. I found Golden State thanks to a referral from Jeff with Green Plumbing. Marcus returned my call and was thankfully able to come out almost immediately. He was extremely polite, efficient, and even cleaned up after himself. I would definitely recommend this plumber!! Oh, and the price was hundreds less than what I paid a competitor for a previous visit.

Installed a water softener and filtration system. Also took the time to explain and check some of our other water issues. So helpful!!
