Blue Planet has been to our house four different times for four different problems over the past few years. They have always been on time, Always professional, and they have come up with suggestions to solve the problem and save money. These guys are ALWAYS my first (and only) call when I have a plumbing issue.

We just had Jack from Fix Plumbing & Drains come by to help us fix our bathroom sink, it wasn't draining at all. Our property management wasn't able to fix the problem yesterday so they organized for this plumbing company to come by. We had a wonderful experience. A woman called this morning to schedule a time frame for Jack to come by. She called when he was on his way over as well to give us notice. He arrived within the time slot and was very friendly, professional and considerate (he wore his mask the entire visit, which is important to me during the current pandemic). He fixed the problem within an hour, communicated with us what was going on and how he fixed it when we asked, and made sure to clean up the mess afterward before leaving. Corey is very friendly and professional, and found the cause of the ceiling leak in a short time. The repair was completed soon, and he was careful not to cause too much dust and damage during his work. Very trustworthy. In the future, I will contact Bill Howe's service again.

Thank you so much for the service on our master bathroom! Not only is Lead & Oakum very professional, they are very friendly, clean and knowledgeable. I hope and plan to use them whenever (and hopefully thats not too often with plumbing issues). I would like to eventually get a water filtration system installed and we had excellent advice from them on what to install.

Great service, good prices, although not punctual but I can understand if the previous job takes longer. I work construction and things just run late all the time. So the fact that they were an hour late doesn't knock any points off in my book.

I had an emergency at 7 pm on a weeknight last week. Contacted a plumber I knew who had previously worked on my house, Frankie, and he said he would come help me. It turns out he now works for BPI, which he did not tell me until he got to my house. He provided no contract for replacing my water heater, said he was not going to run the job through the company because it was a side job for him, and gave me no receipt for payment after I gave him a check. For some reason, the bank refused to cash the check I gave him, so the BPI office called me to collect payment via credit card over the phone. I was charged $3500 dollars for replacing my 40 gallon tank gas water heater. The company dispatcher who called me for payment insisted that is a fair, going rate. Yet, every other company says this should have been about $2000-2500 tops for the after hours service. I asked for an itemized receipt, but all they gave me was a receipt for plumbing for $3500. They did not even mention replacing the water heater on the receipt! There was no itemization or justification for the charges on the receipt. I think my vulnerability as a single female with a plumbing emergency was preyed upon, and I was ripped off. The technician did not use drip cloths and made a total mess in my house. To top it all off, I just found out that a permit is required for changing a hot water heater in CA. I did not know this, and BPI Plumbing said NOTHING to me about needing a permit. Now, I am going to have to figure out how to get a retroactive permit and pay for it, ON TOP OF the $3500 I already paid BPI. I unfortunately made an extremely expensive mistake with this company, and I will never contact them to do work in my home again.

Speedi Rooter is a company I will save in my files and use any time I need plumbing services again. They graciously moved my appointment ahead of others to work on a hot-water slab leak in my home. They were courteous and efficient - showed up when they said they would (even earlier once!) and got the job done in record time.
