Best Light Commercial Plumbing in Chicago IL

Needed a plumber familiar with (and undaunted by) the quirky plumbing surprises an 80+ year old building can present so once again, and of course, I turned to Vanguard Plumbing for their expertise. The owner, Jan, is very knowledgeable and accommodating, quickly getting me on the schedule, and his tech, George, knows his stuff and did excellent work, as usual (he’s repaired/replaced a few things in ‘this old condo’, over the years). With his assistant, Chris, they worked a small miracle replacing a slow, old tub drain, replacing faulty shut off valves (including two, original red-knobbed room shut offs) and recapping an above-floor capped radiator pipe so it’s now below the floor so my new marble flooring will be obstruction-free! I also really like how accommodating they all are with all of my questions. I don’t want to get in their way, but I do appreciate being able to learn a few things about our plumbing system (that’s even more ‘vintage’ than me!).

I have not been to Garrity Plumbing Inc. for a bit. I just live next door so the thing is that they are my favorite neighbors. The internet keeps bringing this up as if I visit their business constantly because I park my car in front of their business. FYI.

I contacted Sims & Sons Electric because they're local to my home and were well reviewed. I respect that they're family owned and was very pleased with the response time and the technicians who came out. They let me know they were running early and gave me the option of having them arrive sooner than scheduled. The work was explained, my questions were answered, and they left the area very tidy. I would definitely recommend them.

The best! We've been a repeat customer since late 2016. Fix It People has been an extremely reliable resource for numerous issues requiring attention within our condo. Most recently, we had a need for painting of a portion of our 20' ceiling; we are a 3rd floor walk-up to boot. Despite some definitive logistical challenges presented by our hallways, stairwells and the size of the extension ladder, the team rallied to resolve exactly how to accommodate the issue. The job was completed efficiently and professionally; the knowledge and capability of the team was with without question.
