Best Pump Repair in Chandler AZ
Had a sump pump alarm and malfunction. Pat was incredible, professional, thorough, and it was back working in no time. Could have charged me a small fortune or diagnosed something that I didn't really need. Nice to see ethical behavior. I highly recommend Pat and Free Flowing Sewer and Drains !

Update 11/23/22:
I called this company out to my mothers house again to look at a water heater and unfortunately it did not go as well as my first experience. The water heater was leaking from the bottom and was more that 15 years old so I fully expected to have to replace it. The technician first told me that he would arrive around 1pm and at 1pm he told me he needed to do an emergency called and did not know when he would arrive. He eventually got there at 4pm. I spoke to him over the phone regarding the services needed and he stated that there was water damage to the wall and wanted to know if I wanted to do restoration through another company he knew(some restoration companies pay plumbing companies for leads). I stated no and asked what needed to be done for the water heater. He told me it needed to be replaced, which I expected. I asked for an estimate and this is where things would take a turn. He started by giving me a verbal estimate of $2400 to $2600 to replace a 50 gallon tank electric, add a drain pan, expansion tank and T&P pipe(I was told these additional items are required by code, but he had no idea what code). I was blown away by the quote and proceeded to ask for a breakdown of cost. Tech seemed to be caught of guard by this request and started trying to add up what he thought the parts would cost. The conversation was getting very strained as it was becoming clear that there was somewhere around $1000 still uncounted for after the marked up parts(every business has overhead so this was expected) where added up. I had to ask repeatedly if those dollars were for labor and if the business really charges $500 an hour for labor. He told me his last similar job cost $2495 and that was what his basis was. I continued to insist that it was not inline with what would be an expected cost for this service and at that he decided to take a minute and add everything. Suddenly the total cost was $1775. I decided to move forward with replacement after the second quote because it was already the end of the day and there was not time to call another company. The replacement went well and at this point there are no issues with the work. The concern is the inconsistency with the price and the obvious attempt to take advantage of the situation. It was clear to me that he would have charged the estimated $2500 if I had not had the knowledge that it was not reasonable and questioned it. This is very disappointing considering my first experience was the exact opposite. Maybe it just depends on which tech comes out. One more thing to note. My quotes were verbal so I was not given their terms and conditions until payment was made and it was provided as a receipt. I decided to read those terms out of curiosity and it's important to point out that this company has included a section in their terms that addresses the customers right to post a 'social media review. It allows the company to take legal action for various different reasons at the customers expense if they so choose. This is an unusual addition to service terms and should be a red flag for anyone.
Just had a fantastic experience with AZ Preferred Plumbing. My elderly mother had a large, gushing water leak outside her home near the water main on a Saturday night. I was not in town to assess the situation and she was not able to provide me the appropriate information to help over the phone. I called the first emergency plumber that was located near her home and I could not be happier with the outcome. Cody was at my mothers house less than 30 minutes after my first call. He was friendly and personable and put me at ease as I was nervous sending a repair company to her house when I was not there. Cody quickly realized that the issue was an irrigation problem, not a plumbing issue, but helped to get the landscaping main turned off so that the water to the house could be turned back on. I felt Cody went above and beyond and I would not hesitate to call AZ Preferred Plumbing again.

We had Curtis replace a non operable pressure reducing valve on our main water line. His work was impeccable. He is really skilled and did a perfect replacement. After finishing the job he put a gauge on the system and adjusted it to the correct pressure.
What a pleasure to find someone who is competent, honest, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be using Curtis now for all our plumbing needs. We highly recommend Curtis

Our community waited weeks with no response. When we finally reach ALD they said they didnt know one of their techs was sick, would send a different tech out next day. That tech never showed up, we called again and we were told that tech had called out. Horrible communication!!
