Best Water Purification in Boston MA
We recently had a clogged drain and cracked drain pipe. We called Power Plumbing, and Dave got back to us within a half hour. He and another plumber came out that afternoon (exactly at the time they said), and fixed the problem. We're very happy with their responsiveness and the quality of the work. We would definitely use Power Plumbing again, and would recommend them highly.

I had a terrific experience with Mike Mitrano, the technician, from Winters Company Home Services. At the start of the summer my AC was not functional, I contacted by condo complex and had a few recommendations. I reached out to multiple companies (around 6), and they came to diagnose/provide an estimate for the repair/replacement of my AC unit. Not a single technician/diagnostician from the other companies explained to me how my HVAC system worked in a concise manner, nor did they go into such detail to find out the true cause of the issue. I have an R-22 system that is now being replaced by the 410-system due to the outdated refrigerant. The other companies just looked at my AC unit, said it was not functional/compressor was dead so they would need to replace the entire system which would cost between $12,000 - $16,000. Not one of them attempted to diagnose the true cause of the break/error in the system. Not one of them gave the option of a repair. Being a new homeowner that recently moved in, this was a tremendous cost that I could not afford at this point in time. This is where Mike was different. He took the time to explain how each component of the HVAC system works and tried to see where the break in the system was. Previous companies just said the compressor was dead and therefore we need to replace the entire system. After working with Mike, it turned out the compressor was functional. He went above and beyond to work with me and help resolve the issue. By taking his time and investigating the AC unit, we quickly found out that the capacitator (an electrical part in the AC unit) was rusted and not working. A simple replacement of this part had the AC system running again. What I was told by the other company’s was simply not true, and these other companies took the easier route of just saying the compressor is dead without any investigation. I took what they said at face value as I do not have much experience with HVAC services. Their incentive in doing so is obviously monetary as they would profit immediately the $12,000 - $16,000. I do not believe this is the correct way of running a business. For full disclosure, Mike did say the system could crash in the future as it is almost 20 years old, so a replacement would not be unreasonable, but what I really liked about Mike and his services is that he offered multiple solutions 1) attempted repair or 2) replacement. He was able to tailor his services for my unique situation. Not one company was able to do that, or even bother doing that. Once we found the problem, he was able to fix it on the spot and now my AC is working perfectly.Needless to say, the repair cost of my AC was a tiny fraction of having to replace the entire system. I accept the fact that I will need to replace the system in the future, but having a simple fix today was what I needed, and no other company would work with me on that.I was lucky to accidentally find Winters Company Home Services through google and have the pleasure of dealing with Mike. I would recommend their company and him as a technician without hesitation. I hope other people do not have to deal with the frustrations I had to deal with for the past 2.5 months.

Their employees were outstanding! They came and presented me with every option and diagnosed my boiler which was installed 6yrs ago. HTP combi is no good and discontinued. Even though I didn't make them my final choice they do provide to notch service.
