Best Water Heaters Boiler in Washington DC

I moved to the area about a year ago and had a drip in my shower the entire time. I called Durance and they scheduled me an appointment at the beginning of the week - everyone else said it would be 2/3 weeks before someone could come out. Adam and Matt arrived early, talked me through everything they did beforehand, went to the hardware store twice, completely replaced my shower hardware, and put the bathroom back together better than they found it. The job in total took 6 hours and they did not stop once.
Quality service is hard to find, and I am fortunate that I do not have to look any further for any home repairs going forward.

This is my go-to for plumbing and heating in DC. The workers are very familiar with old houses and related issues. Reasonable prices and fast service!

Fabulous service from Barnes Plumbing today; so pleased that I was motivated to write a review. My bathrooms are as old as the hills and have parts that look like they came out of an archaeological dig (!) Jonny S. figured out what was needed and was able to make a very satisfactory but temporary repair last week while he tracked down parts. He came back to install them today and our 'ye olde' shower now works like a charm. And in addition to great service and expertise, it was a joy to observe and benefit from the pride he takes in his work. Considerate and neat...and willing to indulge the 93-year-old in our house with a photo; made my day TBH. I wish all contractors were like this!

They came promptly at the appointment time and fixed everything quickly and cleanly. The plumber explained exactly what was wrong and why the issue had occurred. Even though the previous contractor had left things in bad shape he was able to repair things and get them working perfectly. The price was very fair.
