I was switching out a washing machine and busted a pipe trying to get the old hoses off. Water was spraying everywhere. I had to turn the water off to the house. I called my normal plumber and he was booked for the day and couldn’t make it to my house until night. With 5 kids, to include 4 dirty boys, my wife gave me that look...I had to find another plumber fast. I found Cecillia’s on yelp. Due to my situation, the owner himself rushed out and was at my house within 20 minutes and fixed my pipe in less than an hour. Very professional and fairly priced. I own other rental properties so I’m always in the need for a trusted plumber. I will definitely be using this company again.

My water heater stopped working over the weekend and I was unable to fix it . American Mechanical was very helpful on the phone and ended up coming very early on Monday morning. Phil, the technician, was very informative and quickly solved the issue. He was honest and I appreciated that a lot. Will definitely be using American Mechanical again and works recommend them to family and friends!

I am quite upset because Betty's name is still being used and they do not honor work that had already begun in North Carolina saying they have been taken over by Atlantic and Atlantic doesn't have a NC license. This unit cost $5.300.00 and we can't get a company in NC that will take over Betty's contract. We even paid for labor & parts to be good until 2021. We trusted Betty's and want to know why they can't acquire a NC license to honor their contracts if they are going to continue advertising. Where does that leave all the rest of the people that trusted them in N.C. I lived in Newport News all my life and referred Betty's to everyone I know. I can't even get Betty's Supervisor or owner to call back to talk to them. Help somebody!
We have been dealing with this over three weeks. The water of condensation falls straight through to the duck work and pulled it down. My husband is in his 80's and crawled under the house and saw what has happened. The drain is not clogged. The water just goes straight through. We shut off the unit so no more damage can be done. We don't want to mess up our warranty knowing this. Here is a warning to all residents in N.C.
