Made the best out of a tough situation

Half Moon is always great to work with. We had a leaking external hose bibb that required us to turn the water off to the whole house overnight. They were able to send a tech, Andrew M, by 10am the next morning. He was in and out in an hour tops and the bill was reasonable and exactly priced in line with what we were told by the office when we scheduled the service. He was professional, fast, and fixed the problem, allowing us to use our hose hookup again. Definitely would recommend Half Moon for any plumbing needs, and Andrew specifically did a great job repairing and cleaning up the worksite. Appreciate their upfront pricing and ability to fit us in quickly!

My neighbor used this company to replace their tie in to the city sewer main. They drove over the fence instead of asking us to remove or move it out of the way, so we had to pay over $1k out of pocket to build a new fence. Then the 12 foot hole they excavated was not backfilled and packed properly, so after the new fence was constructed, there is now a six foot by seven foot wide sink hole that is about a foot deep in my yard. The new fence has a post in that hole, so the fence is now sagging as well.

What was the response during the whole project? That is not our responsibility.

My advice, hire a different plumber that will hire a professional excavation company if excavation work is needed. Faking the ability to dig and fill a hole properly is not a good business practice. I cannot speak as to their effectiveness as plumbers though.
