Best Storm Drains in San Diego CA

I experienced low hot water pressure in my condo and called Core Plumbing.Don came out and said he heard the water heater going when he first came in. He suspected a slab leak and recommended we call Cable, Pipe & Leak Detection. Jose came out and found no slab leak. I was charged $230 for that.Don came out and gave a quote of $285 to fix the water heater which apparently was the issue from the start. In less than an hour he called and said it was fixed. I was surprised to have to pay $285 for one hour of effort. He gave me the story of how the plumbing world has changed and that a lot of plumbers only work by bids anymore.Essentially, for about one hour of effort, it cost me $515 to get a hot water nipple replaced which resolved the low hot water pressure.I would seek out a plumber who charges an hourly rate next time I have a plumbing issue.

NON-EXISTENT SERVICEI called Legacy to have a window unit a/c either repaired or replaced (including installation).I was told that they would look at the unit and give me an estimate on a new one. I set up an appointment with the understanding I would be given a half hour's notice before their arrival. The two-hour window for the appointment came and went with no call from Legacy. I called the dispatcher (Leon?) who said his technicians were behind that day and I would be given the next two-hour window on that same day. That window came and went with no one showing up. The next day at 5PM, I finally called Legacy to see what had gone wrong. The dispatcher said, no one wanted to do the job........I didn't know employees can pick and choose which jobs they do.........I told the dispatcher that I should have been informed of that the day before. His response was, Sorry about that.Legacy is a very poorly run company. I am looking elsewhere for my a/c-heating needs...

No one showed up. No one cancelled with HOA or with homeowner. Richard Viets - no apology or explanation. [HOA contracted with ProTec to install new front door. On Wednesday of this week, Richard Viets Construction Supervisor emailed that he could install the door on Friday. I got time off work approved, and confirmed the appointment. Then, he didn't show up Friday morning. He did not call Homeowner. He did not call HOA. I called ProTec office and receptionist said the job was cancelled. HOA management is still trying to find out what happened.
