Very good and reliable

This is the third time I've used Tarpy Plumbing Heating & Air, two at the old place, and now this time at our new home.After seeing the recent increases to SDG&E's natural gas prices I started researching electric heat pumps and electric water heaters. Since my home now has a large solar setup I figured why not get off gas all together. Paul came out and gave the home a detailed inspection to determine our needs, gave me all the options (I think I had 5 to choose from but barely had to get past #2 before I knew what I wanted).We had the furnace replaced with an electric heat pump, the water heater moved from it's old poor location and replaced with an electric version. They replaced the old duct work, built a platform for the new heat pump, added ducting into a room that had been on it's own split system, and it's all controlled in two zones with smart thermostats. Also installed an attic vent fan to help with cooling efficiency.The crews that came out to do the work were excellent. Knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. Chuck, Chris, Adam, Eric, Matthew and Dawson are all welcome back to work on my home whenever it's needed, but with this new system I should only need routine maintenance for the next few years.Financing was easy and flexible too, payments in my case basically offset the higher NG prices from SDG&E, almost like getting solar to replace the electric bill.I'd confidently recommend Tarpy to anyone in need of these same services.
