Last week we called Rooter Hero to fix a plugged kitchen sink and disposal problems.We thought it was taken care of. Until it happened again this week.After calling and requesting a repeat repair, Rooter Hero immediately sent another plumber out within the hour and he did a very thorough job of fixing both problems. Jacob Martinez fixed the disposal and unplugged the sink. The company stands by their work with a guarantee that they honored. I will recommend Rooter Hero to everyone and will definitely call them with all of our plumbing problems.

I had an emergency plumbing issue at our rental home. I called at 8:00 am and they were very responsive and said they would be there around 4:00PM. At 3:00 pm their restoration called my renters to come out and assess the damage. We declined because restoration was not necessary because the leak was caught early. 10 minutes after we turned down the restoration we received a call and said their plumber couldn’t make it out today. We could pay and extra $79 on top of the $150 emergency fee since tomorrow is a holiday. This place is a scam. When they couldn’t get my money or my insurance companies money on the restoration then suddenly their plumbers couldn’t make it out.

I contacted Dmitry at this company, he came recommended by my landlord. Both my kitchen sinks and the bathroom sink were clogged up. He showed up the next day with Fred, both of them showed up on time, communicated well and responded very fast to my call. They found out that there was a leak and additional issues with the kitchen sink drain. They fixed all the issues, stayed some time after to make sure it wasn't leaking anymore and gave me some recommendations as to maintenance in order to prevent the same thing in the future. Background: Our condo HOA is using ProTec for repairs. I get the invoices and review them. They routinely charge for basic tools such as a hammer, nail puller, caulk gun, bucket, bottled water for the workers etc. etc. They keep the tools! They add a 30% handling fee to invoices from Home Depot, Dixieline etc. unless we give them an HOA credit card which we won't do. Work example: They used regular nails on a dry rotted exterior deck handrail and trim repair. Best practice is to use galvanized fasteners that don't rust through the paint. Very poor value for what amounts to handyman level work.
