I called Roto Footer for a clogged drain in our laundry room. The receptionist was able to schedule a same day service. I received a call before the tech arrived to our home. Al was very professional and knowledgeable. He cleared the drained pretty quick and cleaned up after himself. He made sure the clog was gone as well. Al gave us some advice on what to look for as homeowners to prevent costly repairs in the future. Overall, we are pleased with the service.

John is a true professional with a friendly, easygoing attitude and he is highly skilled at explaining what is going on every step of the way. He came out within a half an hour on a Saturday to assist us with a main line clog. He quickly assessed and resolved the issue and gave us good advice about what to look out for in the future. We had our old septic system replaced with a new mound system by Capra's this week and the process went flawlessly and the job done by Mike Capra and his crew was done quickly with all phases of the install well coordinated. The hilly terrain of our lot, numerous oak trees and large pond required a very technical installation. Throughout the process, Mike was on top of everything, was available to provide answers to questions and would keep us informed of anything he needed us to do. We highly recommend Capra's Utilities!

We have used discount plumbing and drain cleaning on more than one occasion. The last visit was for a main drain clean out. Our drain was completely plugged. Could not use sinks, toilets or any water or it would come right back out of the floor drain. I called and they came out in two hours. The technician was friendly. Wore shoe covers and even put covers on the tires of the drain snake machine to protect my carpet. He explained what he was going to do and even showed me the tree roots he removed that were causing my issue. The area that he worked in was clean after he was done and my water is flowing freely. I would highly recommend this company. Lastly I called around just to check, and they were also the best price. A win all around.

My wife set-up an appointment to have an undermount bathroom sink bowl installed, to replace a sink bowl that had cracked. Joel arrived within the service window. It was immediately apparent that it was not work he wanted to do, for whatever reason. He informed me that it's a 'very rare' job...which is hard to believe as these are quite common. I had a replacement sink bowl purchased and ready to go. After pondering it a bit, he came back with a quote of $752. According to several contractor friends I'd spoken with, this is DOUBLE what the high-end cost for this job should've been. Joel noted that the job would take about 2 hours; it's was only sealing the sink to the marble and the reconnecting the pipes. So almost $400/hr for his time? I feel it was a straight-up swindle and he just inflated the cost so he'd walk out without any work and the $69 visit fee. I'm assuming this is a common practice with Soderlin, to inflate prices and then laugh all the way to the bank when they've conned the customer or walk away with $69 for 10 mins of poking around. We were scammed. I would caution working with this outfit, especially without any price range estimate before the service visit (which Joel said they don't do). The responsiveness of Alto on a Saturday when we had tree roots in our main sewer line was amazing. Rick was at our house in less than an hour and had the problem solved within a couple of hours. I have their card on my fridge for future issues.
