Matt Mertz Plumbing was recommended to us by two of our clients so we reached out when we needed to address an issue pertaining to our storm/sewer lateral. Technician, Chris Sperl, stopped by our home and gave me excellent advice, though it cost him the opportunity to do the work I thought I wanted. Chris was experienced, friendly, and professional. The company came promptly when we reported our sewer line backed up during laundry day. They discovered the outside pipe was choked with tree roots and that they would have to excavate. Although I could have done without such an expensive repair, they did an excellent job of the repairs over two days, plus a third for the county inspection and filling of the hole. All three of the technicians who responded to my home performed well and did an excellent job of keeping us up to date as they evaluated the problem and planned solutions.

Currently in my 2nd year of school there and its overall a solid place. Only downside is the neighborhood. Heard gunshots nearby from our classroom several times last year. But it's a great place to learn the trade. They will even help you find a job if you have trouble getting employed

Very professional.:40 minutes of total gentle labor plus 40 minutes of driving to pick up the piece and bring it back to install it. A small resistor, which should not cost more than a few dollars. Total: US$ 399. My bad, I should have asked the hourly rate.

I have worked with Taggart on several occasions since becoming a homeowner of a 100+ year old home, and I am impressed every time. They have had availability that is so convenient, and the work they do is minimally invasive, professional, but most importantly, efficient.

This most recent go, I had a leak in old copper piping that had flooded out the ceiling in the floor below it. I did the old duct tape patch job to mitigate the spread, then immediately called Taggart (it was late afternoon). They had availability early the next day, and I was provided extremely useful information, suggested outcomes, current and future state suggestions, to boot. The work took maybe 2 hours, and the original leak, plus a leak I originally didn't know about were replaced cleanly, with PEX.

While I hope I don't need to call them too often, I'm always impressed when I do. Thank you, team!

Joe & his team did a very well & efficient job with our plumbing! After everything was done they cleaned up the areas they used in the house, basement, garage, & etc! Definitely recommend for your plumbing / remodel needs, will be using them again for sure!
