About 2 years ago I had these guys out to change the old pipes under the bathroom floor. After the work was done the toilet was still leaking granted a smaller amount but still leaking. When I called about it the basically caused me out. Blamed the problem on me. Because I did not let them replace the whole system costing me thousands of dollars. I jut had a guy out to terrace the toilet because it is loose on the bottom and leaking badly. This company broke the flange when putting the toilet down. Instead of fixing it use plummers putty to fill in and hold the bolt down. Then put 3 wax rings to cover up what they did. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE

These guys were awesome and super responsive. We had a sump issue and it was so loud it sounded like the whole house was shaking. They came out and replaced it in the same day and were very knowledgeable about everything to help us in the future. 10/10 recommend.

Zoom Drain from Pittsburgh, PA, is a fantastic plumbing service. In light of an emergency, they were able to send a plumbing technician out within the hour. I found this service on Google and was able to set up a quick service appointment via text, which can also be done by phone. Everybody knows how stressful a plumbing situation can be, and many times, it can be very costly. Zoom Drain was able to work with me in terms of financing as I was in a bind. They made a call to their office, and I explained my needs; they worked with me to split the cost. Not only was that excellent customer service, but their quality of work was great. They were able to identify my issues and gave me some pointers on how to mitigate future problems. I'm thankful I was able to get this fixed today, and it has substantially reduced my stress. Thank you, Zoom Drain!

The installation team (Ryan and others) were excellent. We had to insist on a larger AC Unit, as there was unaccounted square footage. Also surprised that there was drilling through an outside wall that was not explained when getting and signing the bid. STILL....I'd recommend them highly- the price was very reasonable- definitely less than others! And the work was completed efficiently and with no worries by an excellent team of workers. Would definitely use South Side Plumbing and Heating again!!

Definitely won't use again. We bought an old house and had brand new central heating and cooling installed. After just 1 full summer, the cooling wasn't working. It was running constantly, the house wasn't cooling, and our electricity bill was through the roof. They came to take a look at it, said it needed a tune up and we paid $149 for them to top off the freon. It didn't make any sense to me because it was a very expensive unit and was so new. The technician told me that they just don't make these units like they used to and we should do a tune up every year. The beginning of the next summer, it wasn't working at all. We had them back again. They said the Freon was low again. I argued about the need for another tune up. It just didn't make sense for such an expensive new unit. They found there was a leak in the coil. Since it was still under warrantee, we didn't have to pay for the new coil. It took weeks for the coil to come. They came and replaced the coil. We paid $280 for a few hours of labor. The technician said I found the leak...there was a screw through the line This is an exact quote. When I told my husband about this, he thought we shouldn't have to pay for any of this. Obviously, we didn't put a screw through the coil. Either the company did it with the install or the manufacturer had a faulty product. When he called the company, they called me a liar. I am pretty upset. I feel like we were had and lied to over the past few years. I feel stupid for not asking more questions along the way. I did not record our conversation, and I did not keep the bad coil. I have no evidence to support what I KNOW happened and the truth of what happened. Even more than the money we have paid to this company, this is about the integrity of the company and taking advantage of people.

I had a sewer line backup for the 2nd time in about 2 months. Gabe was able to clear the line so we wouldn't have a backup. He also took the extra time needed to thoroughly diagnose the bigger problem. He also explain what else needed done for a more permanent solution.

I needed three corrugated stainless steel pipes grounded, they wanted to charge me 624$, for each pipe. which each pipe needed a 10$ clamp and 3$ worth of copper wire, and 5 mins of labor. To the point I had an electrician send me a youtube video and told me to do it myself. After the gave me the quote and I laughed, even pulled up the video to show them, they said this was national standard for the work.tl They wanted 6500, for 40$ in cost and 25 mins in labor. They also have removed this review and others.

Knowledgeable, completed job in one day as quoted. Was open to doing small job to relocate gas lines to move dryer, updated various things to code they encountered along the way Will definitely call again if we have any other plumber needs.

I got a hold of them through one of the task apps. Then the guy text me and said he was at the door. No one was there and I checked the video cameras. When I told him about it, they just simply stop responding. I don’t know how they got such high reviews on the other place because the three-point something on Google reviews seems more like it for the customer service provided.

Had them out a while back for a no heat problem . They told me that I had a cracked heat exchanger , and needed to replace the furnace immediately . Their quote was ridiculous . When I declined , he said he would red tag my furnace , and call the building inspector , and then I would have to leave my house until it was fixed . I asked him to show me where the crack was, but his camera conveniently died . I offered to go pick him up a battery. , but his takes “ special “ batteries. Told him to go kick rocks . Had another company come out , replace the thermocouple, and no more problems. And we looked at the heat exchanger with his camera . Couldn’t find anything . These guys are con men . Find someone with integrity to work on your home …

Since they just responded with a lie here we go...They did not finish the job i can supply texts from them proving that. They have not had it inspected i have proof from county of that and they are Not licensed and are being investigated. They pulled NO permit . They also stole money from a job they didnt even Start. I am suing them both and have filed a suit againt jacob, James and Bill for being complicit in fraud.
They are currently trying to steal a down payment from us for a job they did not start. They are saying it is payment for a job they worked on that they did not complete. They are Not licensed. The county is opening up a fraud case on them. They abandoned the job and a inspector said they are Not plumbers and did not follow any code. They literally had no idea how to fix the problem of their work and took the opertunity to walk off the job. They did this knowing they would steal money .I am currently filing a court case .
