Best Light Fixture Repair in Pittsburgh PA
We recently moved to Pittsburgh and were looking for a solid plumbing and heating company. Based on South Side Plumbing & Heating's reviews and my conversations with Bill and John, we hired them for a major plumbing fix and new A/C installation and couldn't be happier. Ryan and Josh were fantastic installing our new Trane A/C system! The entire team, from the front office to the expert technicians are professional, knowledgeable and responsive! We are customers for life! Thanks, South Side Plumbing & Heating!

Bill has been my plumber for many years. He is responsive and has always done a great job. He just completed replacing a sewer line and did a fantastic job. Worked long and hard to get the job done. Everything was very clean after they left. He quoted a very good price and no over runs. I feel I can trust him. And I highly recommend him and his wife.

Honest Renovators did an amazing job on my kitchen.
After talking with other construction companies , this company was
the best choice for me. I was in need of everything new in my kitchen,
but did not want to go in debt to get what I needed. I basically kept the same layout so the price would not be to high. There were some small
changes to make things look different. The job took 14 days. There
was only one worker at the house to get the job done with Rafal coming in a few times to help with a few things. They needed to demo everything. They hauled away everything and cleaned up when done.
If you are not in need of a designer to plan everything out and know
what you want look know farther. Honest Renovators can get the job done and it will look amazing and his price won't hurt your pocketbook.

Steele is fabulous! He gave me quotes for several options to fix my plumbing issues at a new business location. He helped problem solve some creative solutions to my needs and talked me through picking which option was both going to work for my situation and be cost effective. He added and rerouted some piping, added in a water spigot, and installed a new faucet that would make my sink more functional for my needs. He's great with communication. I highly recommend him!

The water tank in two of our bathrooms needed repair because of loss of water due to mechanical problems. A person from Miller Plumbing came to take a look at the toilette tanks. He proceed to tell me that he was going to charge me $39.00 for the visit and also said something to the effect that it would cost me $379.00 to fix the bathrooms. I guess it was my misunderstanding but even the price quoted was quite steep to fix the leaking problems in the tanks. Furthermore, he said that he would be returning soon to fix the issues with the toilettes. In fact, he came the next day in the morning. To my surprise, once he was finished with the job, he proceeded to bill me for another $727.00 on top of the deposit of $100 that I had paid him the previous day. I assume that the fixtures that he bought to replace the ones that are in the bathroom could not have been much higher than $50. That means that I paid about $750 for Miller Plumbing for less than an hour's time of one of its employees. That's the time he took to fix the plumbing. I told the person the the price was outrageous but he told me that is the price to fix a bathroom, 379 for each, plus $39 for the visit and the rest for the fixtures that were provided. Highway robbery to say the least. If you are looking to fix anything in your bathroom keep away from Miller Plumbing. I could have bought two new toilette bowls and have them installed for the price that I paid to fix some minor plumbing issues. I tried to put a stop payment on the check but it was too late to do so. If I could give less than a star to Miller Plumbing I would gladly give it to them.

Our home warranty, (AHS, which in my opinion, is just as much to blame for this experience) like many other reviewers, sent us this option:
Kind of unprofessional and rude in the sense that he came to look at our hot water tank issue and said to my husband, and why do you think there is a leak? when the floor and top of the tank was completely soaked. Basically started talking to us like we had no idea about plumbing and tried to scam us from the start. They then proceeded to tell us that a new tank would not fit in the current space, and they don't even make that size anymore and that we would have to move it to another location or BUST DOWN WALLS that would cost us 6 grand!! We called another company and told them our situation and without submitting pictures for proof or sounding like we were being questioned on our knowledge of the issue, they told us exactly what we needed and the cost. They came and replaced our expansion tank, hot water tank and replaced the old, broken regulator which fixed our water pressure issue (which is why our warranty wouldn't cover our repair) IN UNDER AN HOUR FOR A FRACTION of the price and with a better warranty.
Home warranties and the third party companies they contract with, are meant to make new home owners feel secure and protected in their first big purchase, when buying the home and feeling like they will be taken care of if something like my situation and service request ever arises. I felt the complete opposite and moving forward, I would never recommend either company to anyone. Shame.
