I had our American Homeshield request service for our air conditioner...it was feeling warm. Air Squad Air conditioning , heating & plumbing was dispatched to work on my AC today (8/5/23). Vadyn diagnosed the problem and found that the power switch was off (oh my goodness!). He also inspected the units and component and explained to us how the unit works. Vadyn ensured everything was working fine by testing the air flow/temp before leaving and also welcomed us to contact the company if we experience issues. His work ethics are spot on and we feel 100% trust in his knowledge and experience. We were treated very politely. This company prides themselves with integrity and strives for excellence. I was looking to hopefully flush out my water heater because we were frequently running out of hot water when family stayed sometimes on weekends while in town. I liked the technician that came to my house. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he treated me like a person and not like a dumb female or potential sale. He answered all of my questions professionally and was very kind and helpful. He explained to me why it was futile to try and flush the existing water heater, because it was an unknown amount of years of neglect before we bought the house two years prior. The price was quite reasonable to replace and even upgrade to a larger unit. I will definitely recommend them to neighbors and use them again if ever needed for plumbing issues.

We had a maintenance service in early June for our new home's ac unit to make sure all was well before the summer temperatures began to rise, and had an excellent service provided by Stan. The system check was very thorough, and Stan was excellent at explaining to these recent transplants to NV, new to the necessity of ac to survive here during the summer, just how ac units actually make the air feel cool. Additionally, the cost of the service was beyond reasonable especially when you weigh the quality of the service we received.

Today, we called the office and had a speedy appointment set up for within a few hours. Rick came out to assess why we were recently having some issues getting the best cooling out of our system. Rick was very thorough and professional and was able to establish that all was still in great working order, but noticed that with one simple tweak we should be able to realize the the cool feeling we wanted from our unit. Again, the quality and value of the service were superb!

Both instances with using this service provider, from front office to repair personnel, has left us feeling we are in good hands whenever there really is an issue with our HVAC unit in the future.

Very bad service

The YES/Blue Apple AC technician suggested and drafted a proposal for repair - that my air conditioner was oxidizing and had daisy-chained condensers, causing an imbalance in my unit, causing it to overheat, and said it could shut down at any time. Any unit can shut down at any time. This tactic to scare me, the homeowner, was unsuccessful, as I have a family member come the next day, an HVAC technician who has been for 34 years in the valley double-check this new issue on this routine maintenance check. After inspecting the two condenser batteries in one unit and one condenser, or what I call batteries in the other, he explained that there was nothing wrong with the unit; he told me that this was just NOT TRUE. They both had equal and correct amperage and no need for concern. The brown on the fan motor at the top is normal as the units do heat, and that causes the paint on the motor head to brown. ALL units have some degree of discoloration. In other words, AC units are made to dis-spell heat which almost always causes paint to turn brown or peel. This resin is usually set by the high temperatures. Appliances with metal components are vulnerable to corrosion, especially if exposed to outdoor conditions; THIS IS NORMAL. This technician, LIKE SO MANY in our valley, was trying to UPCHARGE me. I suspect this is the sales model most electric, plumbing, and HVAC companies use to make money. No wonder they are willing to come to the house on a service agreement at no charge. But it didn't fool me, and Thank you; I will keep my $900 in my pocket!
Don't change out something that was never defective. IF IT IS NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT. If your AC unit fan stops, turn off the AC and call a tech. If your compressor stops humming or changes sound, turn off your unit and call someone; if your AC is blowing warm, turn off your unit and call someone. STOP replacing parts that THEY TELL YOU WILL QUIT WORKING. Yes, your machines can stop anytime, but wait until they do; some last 15 years, some less. I have three HVAC services that I double-check each other because I was ripped as a single mom. I didn't want to inconvenience a family member. Now I do both, verify all recommendations made by family and other AC companies I have hired. Don't fall for this way of doing business. Be a savvy homeowner, especially single parents and older people. Good luck! All these pictures are normal wear and tear.

I was able to get a technician to my house within an hour of calling. This 24 Hr Emergency plumber in Las Vegas, was very friendly and explained everything clearly.The supervisor who came out was kind and respectful as well. I was happy with the service.

I highly recommend Focus Plumbing. Adan showed up on time and was very professional throughout the visit. He assessed the condition of my old water softener and reverse osmosis unit. Both had been in the house for a very long time and not kept up with properly, so after reviewing different options I decided to replace both. Fernando and Arthur were on time very polite and courteous. They replaced our main water shut off value and water pressure value. Also replaced 7 corroded sink values.

Called this person for questions about a used hot water tank. He states he could fix ours for 210, 4 year warranty, parts and labor included. Sounded too good to be true to begin with, but we hwent ahead and scheduled an appointment for the following day (we had plans we could not cancel that night). Our appointment was at 11, but he texted saying he was busy and couldn’t make it till like 1. We said ok, then noticed our breaker had been tripped for tank. So we text him this and be stated that ok we will cancel. Then he text again saying it could cause a fire so we were like ok maybe he should come out. We tried to contact him back but he started being super rude. So I’d think twice about going through this “company”. Not too professional at all!
