Best Sewer Cleaning in New York NY

Just when I thought there wasn't an honest plumber left in New York City, I stumbled upon Hub. The owner, John, was upfront about what he thought my issue was and suggested I get in touch with another type of service because he assumed I didn't need a licensed plumber. He actually tried to save me money! In the end, I did need a plumber, so I called back and he sent his associate Harvey to my place. Harvey was awesome too. Super friendly and went above and beyond to get the job done. We talked about how great John is. How often does an employee rave about their boss?! All-around thumbs up to this company!!

Great price, wonderful service. Came on the designated day early and just got on with the job. Engineer was friendly, polite and very efficient. Did a very good job and explained everything. Would not hesitate to use them again.

We scheduled a time for these guys to come to our apartment and provide an estimate for services. They gave us a one hour window. They did not show up at all and did not respond to texts/phone calls. I wouldn't count on these guys showing up - highly recommend you book someone more trustworthy and responsive.

Came the same day and addressed the issue

I called Plumbing NYC to fix my toilet after another plumber failed to do the job. Donny was knowledgeable and polite when we spoke on the phone and he immediately knew what the issue was. My tenant requested an early morning appointment and Donny accommodated.

Plumber was very helpful and knowledagble about how to resolve situation. Job completed in less than an hour !!! Recommend to anyone who needs plumbing help asap or 24 hour service

On time, they were great

We honestly appreciate how quickly these technicians responded to our call for them to address a leak. The dispatcher was also kind and polite. The plumber did a fantastic job and I am satisfied.

BL held the position of technician. He arrived on time, dressed professionally, was courteous, and was intent on ensuring he understood our problem and repaired it in the quickest, least expensive way possible. He kept us apprised of everything he observed along the course and recommended the most effective cure. After assessing the likely source of the water backup, he suggested that it would be in the best interest to start with a scope to identify if the issue was a blockage or something else. The scope is significantly less expensive than a cable. In addition, he stated that he clears the majority of blockages with the camera, avoiding him from charging more for a Rooter cable. In addition, he warned that if the camera locates the obstruction but is unable to clear it, he will not charge for the camera effort and will only charge for the cable work.

A pleasure to work with! I have not been an easy customer - calling every day with MANY questions - and James at Boris has been a delight. Before taking the job and any payment he came out to our location to be positive he could do the work (we are dealing with DOB and ConEd) with no complications. I HIGHLY recommend Boris Mechanical, especially if you want great work at a competitive price.

Best service ever

Everyone I dealt with was polite, knowledgable, helpful and well spoken. The job turned out to be more complicated than expected through no fault of theirs and they were assiduously responsive. I like to have a community of small business people I can rely and Ariel will be our plumber so long as we live here.

We had a bathtub faucet that, despite our best efforts, wouldn't turn off after evening showers. After we phoned this plumbing, Jeremy arrived, made the necessary repairs, and finished in within an hour. Despite being called in after hours, he was incredibly kind. I'm grateful.

The technician was courteous and competent. He had a clear aptitude for his field. In the near future, I'll most likely give them a call first!

This firm was recommended by our building manager and after several attempts to stop by and see what the scope of work they finally came on October 6th and walked the job with the building manager. We set up to do the work Thursday October 15th. They were supposed to send an estimate and proceed with the work as the building scheduled a water shutdown. I call Monday, for the estimate and to confirm the job on Thursday. I was told that the estimate was not ready but the job was still scheduled. Called Tuesday you will have the estimate tomorrow and nothing. I call back Wednesday after not receiving the estimate and was told that they decided not to do the work after wasting two weeks of NYC construction time which is an eternity I not have to start from the beginning. The lack of professionalism and the lack of follow-up is beyond comprehension.
SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE AS THESE GUYS ARE A JOKE.

My kitchen faucet is leaking so we scheduled an appointment with Watson. The next available appointment they had that fit with our availability was a week away from 8-11am. So fast-forward to 8/17, the day of the appointment...we received a call in the morning to confirm that the plumber would arrive between 8-11am; which was great! That was a good sign for us that this company had their business in order.

Come 11am, the plumber still hasn't arrived, no call and no updates, just didn't show. So we waited on hold with Watson, and was told that the plumber got caught up with another job and that is why he is late, but should be at my apartment before noon. -- Now this is a common excuse given by many repair companies, I know this because I used to work at a repair company call desk, and that is the excuse that we were told to use consistently. Even if I don't go off of that, it is still a little odd to us that our estimate was from 8-11am, yet there was a job scheduled before ours???

So, 12:18pm came, and still no plumber.

At this point we needed to get on with our day and they were way past their estimate. So we rescheduled the appointment to today with the same estimate between 8-11am. Everyone should have a second chance right?

So, here I am, the day of the rescheduled appointment. This morning there was no confirmation call so we called in to verify that someone was coming. We received confirmation after calling in and so the waiting started again.

Around 9am we were told that the technician was running into traffic in the 70s and should arrive within 30mins. Then around 9:35am we received another update that the technician was still on the way and should arrive in 30mins......ok. Then at 9:45am I was asked for photos of my faucet and told that the technician should arrive shortly. At 10:45am, still no technician and no call. At this point we call in and get told that the technician probably won't make it till after 11am, possibly after 11:30am.

So, appointment cancelled. That was their second chance. If you actually want a job done, then you may want to stay clear of a company who doesn't show up..........twice.
