I loved HUB plumbing. We have now used them twice (to fix our radiators and to remove our cooking gas lines). I have been very happy with their service both times; John has been really responsive to emails and he and his staff always seemed very competent and (unlike other contractors I've encountered in New York) always doing things according to code. His prices are slightly more expensive than other quotes we've gotten but absolutely worth it for the great service we've gotten and the peace of mind that we can be sure the work is done right.

The tech is friendly, prompt and responds quickly when contacted. We are happy with the results and appreciated his explanations with the job at hand. We would definitely recommend the tech to others.

I’m a resident manager on a building, and we got a violation from D.E.P for not testing our backflow preventer by a certified tester. Called Rite Plumbing & Heating, Tony showed up with the equipment where he tested all our backflow preventers. I was amused by the quick response these guys do! The report was generated the same day, and they handled the job so professionally. They are our house plumber since then.

There was a leak in pipe from the kitchen sink on the 2nd floor into the kitchen on the 1st floor apartment which was causing water to accumulate on the floor in the kitchen on the 1st floor.

My bathroom ceiling fell in when i had guests staying with me. The toilet in the upstairs unit had spring a leak. Stratos sent Chris over the next day and did a quick diagnosis and repair for a reasonable price. Harris continues to be my go-to plumbers.

I am very appreciative of Sal’s expertise in assessing the problem and the possibilities of the cause of the stoppage. He was not only incredibly kind, but he also took his time to patiently explain the procedure to me. He moved above and above to ensure that ensuring the pipe was cleared and cleaned before he left, making sure I was informed of everything that was happening.

I wholeheartedly recommend Nexus New York plumbing & Drain for any plumbing needs. Lance is a trustworthy and honest plumber. He installed a bath tub, a water tank, and a hot water heater for me. He also installed a water softener. He did some more plumbing work in my home for me because I relocated a bathroom and laundry area. They did an excellent job! I would never think of dialing another number.

Awfu. - most egregious was doubling cost of work v other bids by 1) insisted on breaking open wall even though plumbing was exposed, 2) tried to charge for permits not needed, 3) Took multiple visits to get correct description of work & then sent email to coop misstating specifics to cut corners - then blamed me!!! Replacing existing kitchen appliances can't be that difficult.
Glad I got more bids.
FSPH was our building plumber & turns out they didn't look past immediate leak to evaluate rest of pipe - which subsequently broke & reflooded a bathroom

Expensive and try to charge me twice call, to find out why we will call back still waiting for an apology. Facet that was installed doesn't go with my sink
