they were great!!! helping out at a friends bar in brooklyn on a busy night when we had an emergency...not only did they get there fast and fix the problem, but they were polite and cleaned up after themselves!!!

I am very happy with A&E NYC Plumbing. They are professional and do excellent work. Their NYC plumber has completed several projects for me and his attention to detail and workmanship are top notch. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs!

Zero stars. Completely unprofessional. Setup an appointment the day before, gave them the exact address. Had to rearrange my day, my mom's day, setup appointment with on-site management, etc., etc.... they call me 1.5 hours before scheduled time to tell me that they don't actually service this area!! They had the address and I specifically named the area for them when setting it up. Oh i didn't hear you say that. Sure you didn't, d$#bag. Thanks for wasting my time

9 days ago we Worked with Mr. Shapiro on boiler repair my husband's property Lower East Side. BU Harry, I thought was a good job, but no. We thought we got a $1,250 savings. That too was foolings.
Then the Boiler stopped working all together.
I had my daughter delete our previous 5 star review.
This plumber is in my opinion highly unprofessional to say the least.

We experienced a middle of the night water backup as a result of a clogged sewer line and water softener waste water that was unable to bypass the clog and therefore backed up into the basement utility room. Worth every penny and more. Ban came to our apartment on short notice.
He was very clear about the cost and what he would do. He was very quick and extremely professional. Ban worked diligently and tirelessly to unclog ten years worth of back-up in our sink drain. When he finished he cleaned up so you would never know someone was working there. He is the BEST and from now on we will continue to use him and this company for any plumbing problems.

Bait and switched - first visit was quick, capable and fairly-priced, second was hugely inflated and dishonest with job quote. Lesson learned

This firm was recommended by our building manager and after several attempts to stop by and see what the scope of work they finally came on October 6th and walked the job with the building manager. We set up to do the work Thursday October 15th. They were supposed to send an estimate and proceed with the work as the building scheduled a water shutdown. I call Monday, for the estimate and to confirm the job on Thursday. I was told that the estimate was not ready but the job was still scheduled. Called Tuesday you will have the estimate tomorrow and nothing. I call back Wednesday after not receiving the estimate and was told that they decided not to do the work after wasting two weeks of NYC construction time which is an eternity I not have to start from the beginning. The lack of professionalism and the lack of follow-up is beyond comprehension.
SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE AS THESE GUYS ARE A JOKE.

Everyone I dealt with was polite, knowledgable, helpful and well spoken. The job turned out to be more complicated than expected through no fault of theirs and they were assiduously responsive. I like to have a community of small business people I can rely and Ariel will be our plumber so long as we live here.
