main sewage to house was blocked with roots so back up in basement.They have good communications, good listeners and sent me person with the just right tools and took their time to do it very well. Servicer listened and took time to answer questions. Thorough and successful drain clearance with all size machines for the job. plus they came the next day, were ready to come the same day.

Professional and honest service. I like how they were upfront and transparent about what work needed to be done, and how much it would cost. There were no surprises and I'd use them again !

9 days ago we Worked with Mr. Shapiro on boiler repair my husband's property Lower East Side. BU Harry, I thought was a good job, but no. We thought we got a $1,250 savings. That too was foolings.
Then the Boiler stopped working all together.
I had my daughter delete our previous 5 star review.
This plumber is in my opinion highly unprofessional to say the least.

When a storm caused my basement to flood, I was in a critical situation. The current sump pump stopped functioning. I started manually bailing the water and called the plumbing company, which I had previously used. When the technician Harold arrived that afternoon, the manager Roy was able to arrange an appointment. Last time, Harold was in this area. He set up a pump and started pumping the water out with great professionalism. He installed a new, significantly more potent pump to replace the malfunctioning one. By late afternoon, the basement had been as thoroughly pumped out as it could be. The following day, Harold arrived to install a backup sump pump powered by batteries in case the primary sump pump breaks down. I feel safer now in the event of another storm. Harold also assisted me in restarting the broken gas hot water heater.

I would 100% recommend. Very humble, respectful, honest and hardworking people. He did an excellent job and his professionalism was second to none.

I had a great experience with Boris Mechanical. I arrived at work on Sunday morning (February, 2015) to find an inch of water covering our floor. I called and a live person answered the phone. They were able to send a technician over in about an hour (pretty good for a Sunday!). The technician was very nice and efficient. The water had already covered a large area of our basement and was seeping out from underneath walls in multiple places. He diagnosed our problem very quickly (a busted and leaking water heater), but still completed a thorough inspection of the building to confirm. He was extremely patient with me, even when I was not exactly sure where the shut off for the main water line was. (He found it!) The technician removed the water, picked up and installed the new water heater and tested it to make sure it was working all within the same day. The building I work in is a Landmark building, so we were extremely grateful for Boris Mechanical's professionalism and efficiency. If the problem had not been resolved so quickly, we could have had a lot of structural issues and water damage. I definitely recommend this company.

Great and honest plumber here. My kitchen faucet had been leaking and another plumber that I consulted told me to get a new faucet. (Mine is quite new, from Dec 2019, so I really didn’t want to have to replace it.) I then asked for a quote to simply reinstall it since our building handymen noted that the initial installation wasn’t done well. I got a quote from the first plumber that suggested a new faucet altogether and it was astronomical. Another plumber quoted by the hour without noting how long it’ll take. Third plumber, AABC, quoted the fairest amount based on Google ranges for this type of job. Irving just came and diagnosed the issue immediately. It was a simple issue and nothing needed to be reinstalled or replaced!
If you ever need a plumber, I’d highly recommend AABC Plumbing.

I called harris plumbing and supervisor Strato set up a nice crew to fix my problem in the building. He sent Pablo and Juan and they were amazing.i would recommend Harris plumbing to everyone.

I totally hate malfunctioned faucets. It’s annoying and stressful. Thanks to the company I’ll be assured that it could be fixed right away and efficiently. Our family’s a loyal customer. They’re lovely with their jobs, no doubt about that.

Showed up to fix toilet seal, removed it and found old seal disintegrated. Then said I have to leave now, I'll come back tomorrow to finish. The toilet was on a tarp, in the middle of our bathroom! I couldn't make this up. Instead, I said no, you need to finish today. He called, and a replacement plumber, (who was excellent) finished the same day. Quirky? I hope so.
