Just when I thought there wasn't an honest plumber left in New York City, I stumbled upon Hub. The owner, John, was upfront about what he thought my issue was and suggested I get in touch with another type of service because he assumed I didn't need a licensed plumber. He actually tried to save me money! In the end, I did need a plumber, so I called back and he sent his associate Harvey to my place. Harvey was awesome too. Super friendly and went above and beyond to get the job done. We talked about how great John is. How often does an employee rave about their boss?! All-around thumbs up to this company!!

I’m a resident manager on a building, and we got a violation from D.E.P for not testing our backflow preventer by a certified tester. Called Rite Plumbing & Heating, Tony showed up with the equipment where he tested all our backflow preventers. I was amused by the quick response these guys do! The report was generated the same day, and they handled the job so professionally. They are our house plumber since then.

The plumber who was supposed to come between 330 and 530 was quite late.
He was very polite very knowledgeable and did the job quickly. What I find fault in is the fact that one bathroom clogged sink cost $408 and change. I find that an exorbitant price to pay for clearing a drain

So we had some clogging issues. Tried the usual plunging methods, chemical cleaners, augers, snakes etc and all the above didn’t work. The clogs kept happening. Finally was time for a plumber. We found this company and they were able to come the same day. Sal was here for about half an hour and got the toilet where it needed to be.

Amazing job! I was desperate when the drain's shower clogged on Sunday with my in-laws in my house! The super does not work on Sundays so I searched on the internet and I found him. It was a tough job but everything did well at the end.

I'll be honest. I've never really hired people who mostly have word of mouth reviews. I usually do intense research and checks. I was sketchy at first, but let me say, it was amazing. I had a severe emergency in my boiler room, heat not working and all, and in hours my house nice and cozy. I would recommend this plumber to anybody in need of any assistance!

The woman I spoke to while setting up my appointment was so kind and professional and outlined every step of the process before sending a contractor to my home for a free estimate. I felt that the price to repair my water heater was fair, and the day after I received my quote, a plumber was at my home to make the repairs.

Meh. The technician that arrived was very friendly and punctual. I chose not to use Roto Rooter however because the quoted price for doing a hydrojet cleaning of my storm drain was $1695?! This wasn't something I had years of problems that no one could fix. That's way too close to buying all of the equipment necessary to buy my own hydrojet and become competition for RR.I ended up paying a local company $200 to snake the line and it was fixed in ten minutes. I had put in a new lawn and there was some dirt that had runoff after I rototilled the old lawn. I'll clean the line myself with a $40 kit on my pressure washer.

Brooke identified the problem and repaired it quickly afterward. The price was one-fifth of what was estimated by a rival firm. According to me, Brooke performed a very good job fixing the problem. I contacted because my water heater had stopped heating and I needed plumbing repair. Plumber came over and looked at it, adjusting one component. When he came the next day with the new part, he replaced it. My water heater was back up and running in a matter of hours.

Crooks. They told my super that the flood in the apartment below me was because I needed my flange replaced. I called other (honest) plumbers and my insurer and they said my flange only needed to be replaced in my apartment if there was visible flooding in my apartment and a stench. There was neither. Because they said I needed the flange replaced I had to get it done. They spent hours in my bathroom sitting on the flood doing nothing (I was getting billed hourly) and then went to charge me $855. And of course there is still flooding in the apartment below mine.

Great! They arrived within an hour after I called Christmas eve, worked two hours with my septic backed up into the basement and a foot of brown water in my front yard all because of WIPES!
Rates were very reasonable.
