We have spent thousands of dollars repairing it each year, not counting the cost of replacing the unit. We requested an inspection from this plumbing company this year. We received a call at around 1:30 to see if they could make it earlier; our appointment was from 3-5 pm. The sooner the better, please. Nathan, one of our technicians, was amazing. He came out to check on my AC unit and found that it was experiencing a few issues. He presented the issue and several potential solutions. We deliberated the possibilities and came to a decision. The issue will be permanently fixed when they arrive on Wednesday. From the initial call to the technician, everyone we interacted with was very polite and respectful. genuinely concerned about the issue we were experiencing. I had a great experience with Boris Mechanical. I arrived at work on Sunday morning (February, 2015) to find an inch of water covering our floor. I called and a live person answered the phone. They were able to send a technician over in about an hour (pretty good for a Sunday!). The technician was very nice and efficient. The water had already covered a large area of our basement and was seeping out from underneath walls in multiple places. He diagnosed our problem very quickly (a busted and leaking water heater), but still completed a thorough inspection of the building to confirm. He was extremely patient with me, even when I was not exactly sure where the shut off for the main water line was. (He found it!) The technician removed the water, picked up and installed the new water heater and tested it to make sure it was working all within the same day. The building I work in is a Landmark building, so we were extremely grateful for Boris Mechanical's professionalism and efficiency. If the problem had not been resolved so quickly, we could have had a lot of structural issues and water damage. I definitely recommend this company.

I was extremely disappointed with a last minute cancellation at 12:00 Noon for today's 10a-2p appointment, I find it incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. They simply left a voicemail saying they got too busy with other jobs.
Hmm…that seems a bit contradictory to their website where they state [their] reputation has been built on high quality, fairly priced service...On never having to make excuses.
My wife and I made arrangements, not only moving our schedules around but also everything under both our sinks in advance of what we thought would be an agreed upon appointment.
They came well recommended by our well-connected broker at Corcoran Real Estate, and seemed to have it together by how quickly they turned around a COI that named us and our building management, but alas, no play no pay!

I called 24 hour plumber nyc and I was skeptical who is awake at 4 am to fix a flood but this guy is amazing. He was so polite his prices are reasonable service is terrific and I will never call anyone else ever again. Everyone I dealt with was polite, knowledgable, helpful and well spoken. The job turned out to be more complicated than expected through no fault of theirs and they were assiduously responsive. I like to have a community of small business people I can rely and Ariel will be our plumber so long as we live here.

Ulises was excellent. Steve quickly and expertly fixed our kitchen sink faucet. He gave us a thorough explanation and was courteous and competent. He will return for further work in the future. Strongly suggested.

We contacted them after being scammed by another company over a water leak. Joelle promptly identified the issue, provided a fair quote, and returned to fix the pipes. Before he could get out and fix it, he gave us two options to choose from and helped me understand how to essentially Band-Aid it. He was helpful, forthright, and totally professional; we will definitely hire them again if necessary.
