They do have a minimum charge to respond to the call ($185 + tax for Upper East Side during normal business hour, over time will cost more). They are also able to provide certificate of insurance for their work upon request, but do expect a 24 hour turnaround to get the certificate. The team is very friendly and fixed the clog in less than 15 minutes. They also provide a 30 day warranty so if the tub clogged again within 30 days they will fix it with no additional charge. I have an old style drain (the drain stopper is outside of the tub), so it cost more to fix it than a normal tub. They also accepts coupon (just need to mention the coupon found on their website). So overall it's not cheap, but the quality is good.

Meh. The technician that arrived was very friendly and punctual. I chose not to use Roto Rooter however because the quoted price for doing a hydrojet cleaning of my storm drain was $1695?! This wasn't something I had years of problems that no one could fix. That's way too close to buying all of the equipment necessary to buy my own hydrojet and become competition for RR.I ended up paying a local company $200 to snake the line and it was fixed in ten minutes. I had put in a new lawn and there was some dirt that had runoff after I rototilled the old lawn. I'll clean the line myself with a $40 kit on my pressure washer.
