Best Construction Plumbing in New York NY

I only called for an estimate to change out an old stove for a new one, had all the equipment delivered with the new stove. All I needed was a licensed plumber to disconnect the old gas pipe and put a new one on the new stove. All other quotes were in the range of $175 to $225 from several different competitors. Their quote, $450! I promptly said no thanks and hung up. Shop around and get quotes to find out industry standard pricing. No service was provided by this company and I am not commenting on their service, just a ridiculous pricing issue.

A pleasure to work with! I have not been an easy customer - calling every day with MANY questions - and James at Boris has been a delight. Before taking the job and any payment he came out to our location to be positive he could do the work (we are dealing with DOB and ConEd) with no complications. Top notch. Jason and James actually showed up a little early for the appointment, which was fine. I explained to them the problems, and they got right to work. They had a friendly banter with each other like true partners. They answered all my questions, never condescending to me or acting like it was a hassle, instead understanding that I was just trying to educate myself and learn, so that in the future I can take care of an issue myself or prevent future ones. I absolutely recommend this company, especially after another local one (initials AH) didn't even return my call.

I called Chaim for a leak that was coming from my upstairs bathroom into my downstairs bathroom. He came and thoroughly checked both bathrooms. He explained the process every step. After he finished repairing the leak/pipe, Chaim and his assistant cleaned up afterwards. He was professional and honest. I will be calling them for any plumbing issues!

The plumber is good, but this company absolutely sucks. They've been limping along during my construction project for SIX MONTHS! I'm lucky to have a plumber here two days a month, and to get that, my general contractor and I have to be on the phone ten times begging them to send the plumber! They are happy to get your deposit money, then it's like pulling teeth to get the work done. Now, six months later I'm firing Demar and hiring a different company! Don't make the mistake I made!

Called to get a quote for a simple water filter installation. Receptionist tried a very hard sell. When I could not commit to a time/date for service she hung up on me. I called back to report her to her manager, and when I asked for her name she hung up on me again. Very unprofessional. Lots of other plumbing services out there. Don't need to be hung up on by someone who I'm going to pay! In addition, she blocked my phone number from calling the business again. Spend your money elsewhere!

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY. They are not licensed and are a scam. I had a plumber come out and do shoddy workmanship only to have it leak, do damage, and then have them deny even doing the work. This is despite a receipt I have with their letterhead and phone records indicating I had called them and they had sent the plumber. Then he called back and said.. Read the fine print on the receipt. It says we aren't responsible for anything.. not that we came, but even if we did come then we aren't responsible. Don't call again. Bye. Then he hung up. Real professional. The receipt actually says they are not responsible for faulty plumbing equipment and does not mention workmanship. They have been reported to the city and will be investigated by the Building Marshall. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
