Best Commercial Repairs in New York NY

Charged me $800 to snake the sewer main, then failed to close the pipe so it leaked all over our basement. The attention to detail was sorely lacking. When they returned to fix the problem they caused I had to argue them out of charging me for an “emergency weekend visit”. They didn’t want to take responsibility for their poor quality work.

They then told me I needed to steam clean the sewer main ($2000). I had 2 other local companies quote it for $850 and $900.

Not only are they bad at their job but they tried to con us into paying more than double the going rate for a service we didn’t really need.

Use at your own risk. You’ve been warned.

The repairmen came quickly and proceeded to repair and unclog my bathroom sink drain. They replaced a portion of the pipe where it was leaking and cleaned up when they were done. I've used Aladdin before and will use them if needed in the future.

I called Harris Plumbing in mid October to get a quote on converting from oil to natural gas heat. The job entailed replacing the very old steam boiler that had stopped working along with the leaking hot water heater. They sent Tony who assessed the job and listened to my concerns so that I felt very comfortable working with them. Upon signing the contract they scheduled a crew to start the work within a few days. And their crews did an excellent job. All permits and approvals were obtained and NYC DOB inspected the work and signed off on the work. Terrific team work!

Our tankless water heater was not working and Keli came right away (same day) to diagnose the issue, and because I had no hot water they made a huge effort to get it fixed by the next day. Really appreciated the speedy response, and also the great communication regarding pricing/estimates. I loved their online system that allowed me to see line by line what each repair would cost and paying online made it super easy as well.

Awfu. - most egregious was doubling cost of work v other bids by 1) insisted on breaking open wall even though plumbing was exposed, 2) tried to charge for permits not needed, 3) Took multiple visits to get correct description of work & then sent email to coop misstating specifics to cut corners - then blamed me!!! Replacing existing kitchen appliances can't be that difficult.
Glad I got more bids.

I’ve been going to the Eastside Quality Cleaners to get my clothes tailored for years, ever since I moved to East Village. The shop’s kind seamstress does a GREAT job tailoring my cloths - she’s meticulous, skilled w/ quick turnarounds - AND at a rate that is way below market. Over the years, she’s probably altered 30 pieces for me, ranging from $5 to $30 (when my wedding dress needed alterations done on the bottom- normally it’d be $200). I’m so glad I’ve found this place!

I've been struggling with my bathroom sink leaking for the past month and my apartment did a horrible job fixing it, which just made the leak worse. I called up today and requested service, and thankfully Neha was able to find the time slot that works with my crazy schedule. The plumber came today - found out what was causing the leak, fixed it, cleaned up and double-checked to make sure all was good. The entire process took less than an hour. Really recommend!

I had a leak in my basement and he was able to fix and replace the pipe that was causing the leak. He explained the issue and walked me through why the issue was happening and what I can do to prevent from happening again. Ray is very professional and reasonably priced. If you need a plumber, I would recommend him.

Vuksani Plumbing is my go to plumber for the apartments i manage, and they are amazing. They are responsive, show up when they are supposed to, do the work quickly and are fully insured. I have used them for at least 4 apartments now, including repairing a leaking toilet, replacing a 50 year old shower valve and unclogging a shower drain. They are very reasonably priced, and I highly recommend them!

I admit that I was skeptical at first but Patrick and his colleague from Nianday Plumbing came right away on a Friday night to fix my kitchen sink backup and clog.

Unreliable. Unprofessional. They canceled twice to review the job and when they finally showed up they were not equipped to do a proper estimate. It took them more than 10 business days to provide an estimate that I had to follow up with.
