I had a very bad experience with the crew that first came to my house to do a simple rooter service. They said that the access to my sewer needed replacing so they did that. Then, they tried to oversell me to the tune of $27,000 to replace the entire sewer system in my house. Within 1/2 hour of receiving the outrageous bid, they had reduced it to $19,000. But, all I needed was a clean-out which I got through another plumber for $350.When the owner, John, saw my negative review online, he immediately contacted me to find out what had happened. Needless to say, he was extremely upset and offered to do anything possible to make things right with me. John personally came to my house to inspect the sewer system and determined that although it is old, it is not needing to be replaced. He did additional clean-out work and refunded most of the bill for the sewer access installation. He also determined who from his company came during the initial service call and guaranteed me that the person will not be doing such unprofessional things ever again at Western Rooter.So, a really bad experience got turned into a good experience and John convinced me that he really does care about his business, his clients and his reputation. I will use them again.
