The team arrived on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently. They were very professional and respectful of my home, making sure to clean up after the job was done. I am very satisfied with their service and would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.

My toilet was running and it was an easy fix. But Tony was really helpfully in letting me know what happened and didn’t patronize me. He also told me what to look out for in the future. Will use him again if anything occurs in the future!

Just fantastic. The plumbing issue we encountered was unique and difficult to diagnose, so it took several visits to resolve. Despite this, the entire team was professional, responsive, and respectful. The way in which they assessed and resolved the problem was thoughtful and skillful. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after they did the repair in a timely manner. Over 35 years of owning homes and dealing with plumbers, this team has exceeded all expectations. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the service provided us by Near and Best Plumbing. Rafael showed up on time, fixed our plugged up kitchen sink and diagnosed a leak coming from our HACV system. Service was fast, clean, efficient and very reasonably priced. We will be using Near and Best Plumbing in the future for all our plumbing needs.

My mother had property with three houses on it. We’ve used Kessler for decades. Always upfront and straightforward with their quotes. Honest assessment of when their technicians will get there. Very professional. Now that mom is gone, I will continue using Kessler! They are family to me!

Would not recommend this service at all. Poor job quality (happy to share pics and detail) and what's worst, is really taken advantage of on the pricing. Was quoted one thing, then bait and switch. When called on it, was essentially threatened that proprietor would bang on my door until he got his money. Had no issue paying except that I was being gouged. Happy to go into detail and share how and why. Truly unfortunate as there are many people in my area relocating to homes in the neighborhood and was hoping to be able to recommend them, but wish I did more research in this case.

Friendly, honest, affordable no-nonsense service from Mr. Speedy for our water heater. They responded to my website inquiry, had a tech on-site, diagnosed, estimated, and fixed the problem within a matter of hours. Next time I have any issues with plumbing this will be my one and only call.

Great company, I called them to help my grandmother with her water heater and they provided her with excellent service. We had gotten other estimates and Universal was the best priced out of the other 2 companies we called. We will be calling Universal again in the future!

Richards Rooter and Plumbing has great reviews but my experience was disappointing. First, it was $250 to even come to our apartment building (which would then be applied towards the repair.) Then it was $750 (so an additional $500) to cut open the wall and find the leak, even though I correctly identified where the hot water pipe was leaking based on feeling a warm spot on the wall.

Richard suggested a temporary clamp for another $500 (though he said it’d be free if it didn’t work) and coming back to fix it the next day (it was 2:30pm). I asked if it could just be fixed today and had to leave for an appointment and he set about cutting open more of the wall to see the extent of the corrosion. By the time I came back at 4:30pm, he’d put on the temporary clamp which didn’t fully stop the leak (still requesting $500 for it) and said he could fix it at 9am for $2000 with the clamp $500 going towards it (so $1500 more).

I felt like the charges were really high, especially since water was still leaking into the units below. The way Richard seemed more focused on getting paid than actually fixing the leak made me feel like he was taking advantage of the situation and didn’t seem to care about water dripping into people’s homes.

Later that evening, another resident called their own plumber unbeknownst to me and had him fix the leak that night (for $600). I texted Richard as soon as I learned of this so as not to waste his time and he got a little salty, texting things like “And we have a contract if that means anything to you” even though he only wrote an estimate for the repair.

All in all, Richard was available, communicative, and showed up when called, but he was ineffective, expensive, and then snarky when he didn’t get his way. He couldn’t fix two pinhole leaks (even temporarily) for $1250. He would have charged an additional $1500 to do a job that someone else did for $600. I only hope my experience informs others.

I thought I needed a new hot water heater because of a leak from the drain valve. I talked to them on the phone for 15 minutes and he suggested i just by a screw cap for the drain outlet to see if that would solve the problem. He could have easily sold me a water heater but instead, for $2.50 he solved my problem. He provided a lot of useful information over the phone, which was appreciated. Thanks guys!

I called a day ahead and made an appointment to fit my busy schedule. They gave me a two hour window but never showed. I called 10 minutes after to confirm that they are on their way. They lied to me over the phone and said he was running late, when I feel certain they got on another line and called a technician right then and there to ask if he could come out. They then told me it would be 20 minutes. One hour later I called two other plumbers and conducted regular business professionally, they still had not called. I called back and cancelled. Don't lie and BS you own customers, especially new ones. I have several multi big items to replace; but refuse to do business with people like this.
