Best Clogged Drain in Long Beach CA

I am really disappointed in my experience with Philip and GM Plumbing. We were in the middle of selling our house and moving and needed a quick repair for our water heater gas supply line. After calling a few places, GM was the only one able to do the work in the time needed (and I guess I know why they had availability!). Philip explained what they would do, made it sound like pretty extensive work (2 people, most of a day is what he told me), and quoted almost $1,000! He did a great job of taking advantage of someone that didn't have time to find another option. Once the work was done, I found that what he did was run about 20' of pipe, straight from the gas meter to the water heater along the outside of the house. It took one person and an apprentice <2 hours to do the work. He probably made $600-$700 on the deal. Want to make sure no one has the same experience I had! Stay away!

I called Quest Home Services to come look at my water heater that wasn’t working properly. Even though I told them my problem was NOT an emergency, they got someone there the same day and accommodated my schedule. Gino was polite and friendly enough without being too forward, and got things done fast enough without acting rushed. He didn't seem to mind my questions and really seemed to know what he was doing.
Price wasn't cheap, but seemed fair, and was exactly what he said after looking things over.
