They don't do free estimates, said they'd charge $75 to come in to do a diagnostic - I just wanted an estimate, and they hung up. Happy I didn't get them in to do the actual work.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Lou and his two sons. Lou has been nothing short of outstanding to work with. Due to hurricane Ida I lost my entire basement and all the utilities. I reached out to Lou to give me a quote for a new boiler and hot water heater and he quickly provided a fully detailed estimate with specifications of exactly what he would be installing. I had a few questions regarding the system as well as warranty information and Lou was always extremely responsive with answers and provided me with all documentation that I requested. Not only did Lou do an outstanding job but I think one of his best qualities is how responsive he is. I never had to chase him as he always picked up his phone and always responded to messages in a timely manner. Lou always remained in contact with us throughout the entire process and he always showed up when he said he would. He did a great job installing my new boiler and indirect hot water heater and even suggested installing it up off the floor in order to avoid any future flood damage just in case. The night he finished the installation he even sent me a follow up message at 8:30 at night to confirm that everything was running flawlessly and that I didn’t have any issues. Him and his sons were a class act and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using them for any and all future work. Thanks a lot Lou for making the process absolutely seamless and stress free!

I had a water valve burst in my finished basement on Christmas morning. I don't know how much water came out, or how long before it was broken (thank you laundry pile for absorbing so much), but it was a lot. Unfortunately I had no way to stop the leak other than shutting off the water main to my entire house... a house which uses radiator heat, and thus needs water to keep warm. I called Hurricane and they had some one out there on Christmas afternoon, just a few hours later, to fix the problem and get my house livable again. I have no clue what a reasonable price for saving my butt on Christmas day is, but they were the only plumber around that was even willing to do the work, so to me that's five star worthy. Erik was incredibly responsive and great with communicating. Brendan did the job well and was very friendly. I hope to never be in this situation again, but if I am, they'd be my first call.

These guys are great! We needed AC for an office build, and I talked to a lot of HVAC companies. ECO responded quickly and got me on the schedule for a visit.The guy that came out to help us look at our options was the same guy who did the install. We got a 4 unit ductless for a great price. The team was polite and professional. The install is tidy and clean, and they did a great job cleaning up their mess when they were done. The unit works great, and our power bill has dropped since we don't have to use the window unit we'd been limping along with. I would definitely recommend ECO!

Quick to schedule and repair ac. They are expensive but timing is key and they have come when needed more than once.

The owner was responsive and straightforward. They completed the job they said they agreed to in less time and less money than expected. The added benefit is that they were pleasant as well.

Ivar is THE MAN for sewer and drain cleaning. Had an issue with our main sewer line (6 unit condo in Hoboken) so first we called a handyman thats done small stuff before. Nothing against them but after 2 hrs of snaking the clog remained. They had me nervous we'd need to dig up the street in front of our building.

The handyman company actually recommended Ivar. He's like the dentist who cleans dentist's teeth. He came same day and in 10 min recognized what they missed and had the right equipment to unclog the main drain. Problem with handymen is sometimes they don't have all the tools on hand and need to go rent something which means a repeat visit....thank God for Ivar.

Originally I gave them (celestial air) 5 stars but now they just keep trying to rip us off. They came to fix our boiler problems and every fix they made did not work out so every time they came they charged us a ridiculous amount. Please find a more reputable source cause these guys are not it.

Not recommended. The technician broke the shutoff valve while fixing our bathroom sink.

We had called about a small leak. The tech came to assess and said we needed a whole new faucet. We agreed and he installed a new one. While doing it, he broke the shutoff valve. He did not try to fix it; after charging us $450 for a new faucet, he simply just left.

When we called the company again for support on replacement valve, they said they would need to charge for the replacement. Charge us for something their own technician broke.

Great business model, old as time. Make something worse, and then charge customer to fix.

I **think** the team leans on a task rabbit type of hiring. So luck of the draw on the technician. This is a guess, as when we first called the company to complain they said we don't have record of sending anyone. We had to send a picture of the receipt from the tech as proof. Even after this, they did not take any responsibility for the poor work of the tech they sent.

Our water heater was leaking oily, sticky stuff. Most of the contractors straight up suggested a replacement without even taking a look. These guys agreed to come and take a look. The technician was able to utilize a temporary fix and said that it would probably last us 3-4 months, tops.

I appreciate his honesty. We have no budget for a replacement, so it was nice hiring these guys to squeeze a few more months out of our water heater.

I am very dissatisfied with this service. I am a manager for a Dr's Office and had called this company for services. My first experience I left a message and nobody got back to me. Second time I called again and left a message, I received a response within 48 hours and booked an appointment. The plumber did not show up on the appointment date. He came the following week without notice. The issue was the toilet was not flushing, he changed the flusher free of charge which did not need to be changed. He then left and didn't come back. The toilet then overflowed the following day. I called again and made another appointment being nothing was resolved. Nobody showed up for the appointment so I called to see what happened they explained they were delayed and could be here an hour after my call. I had explained when making the appointment that we see patients in the office and the time frame was from 9-2 for the plumber to come, nobody called to say they were running late. Very inconsiderate of peoples time and no communication what so ever. I would not recommend this company to anybody.
