MIKE the main tech did an excellent job in repairing my home heating system. Very responsive, and very professional. He will first let you know the parts he will use and then give you a quote estimate before doing the work. Highly recommended and I will definitely use his company again in the future. Omar his assistant was also very helpful. They are the BEST PLUMBERS IN NEW JERSEY!!!

I had a water valve burst in my finished basement on Christmas morning. I don't know how much water came out, or how long before it was broken (thank you laundry pile for absorbing so much), but it was a lot. Unfortunately I had no way to stop the leak other than shutting off the water main to my entire house... a house which uses radiator heat, and thus needs water to keep warm. I called Hurricane and they had some one out there on Christmas afternoon, just a few hours later, to fix the problem and get my house livable again. I have no clue what a reasonable price for saving my butt on Christmas day is, but they were the only plumber around that was even willing to do the work, so to me that's five star worthy. Erik was incredibly responsive and great with communicating. Brendan did the job well and was very friendly. I hope to never be in this situation again, but if I am, they'd be my first call.

Roto-Rooter gets high marks for professionalism and quick responses. However in my case, after calling them back as I continued to have an overflowing basement toilet during the holidays, I had to call another drain clearing company to ultimately resolve the problem. The other company confirmed where I thought the problem was, a suggestion I made to Roto that was dismissed. I'd be cautious about using them. If you can get past the initial panic mode when water is in your basement, call your plumber first who probably knows of a company that will take the time to properly diagnose the problem.
