I had smelled gas that was very strong after the heater had stopped. The smell continued for some time (a few days). Then I started to get headaches for no reason, and the gas smell remained. So I switched to the Air Conditioner and opened the doors to the house to air out the house. Then the smell went away. This was done late at night around midnight. Then in the morning the gas smell was still there. So I called Stan A/C to have someone come out and check it.Jesse Crawford arrived and was informed of the problem. He checked the heater in the attic and checked around the house outside and inside for readings of carbon dioxide. He only got a reading of three outside and less than that inside the house. The heater was turned on and later after it stopped another reading was taken and reading kept coming down. Then he went upstairs again and checked all of the pipes and the heater for any leaks again and found zero emissions of gas.I was happy to learn that the heater was not the problem in the house. However, he did recommend that if gas was detected again, to call Stan A/C for a plumber to do a pressure test on the gas lines. I am satisfied and the immediate attention that was given to my problem and would highly recommend the company to others. I have been using Stan A/C since I bought the home back in 2010. I figured that Stan A/C put all of the heater, A/C etc in the home they would be the right company to maintain the systems here. Thanks again.

We have used Fox Service for many years as twice each year we have them come and check out our systems for the coming changes to winter and summer. This gentleman who came was superb. He provided a card but we cannot find it. His initials are LOM. Very thorough. He explained the r ____ Halo' and we had him install one on one of our units. We are considering having him come to install one for the other unit as I think it is making a difference. We think it may make a difference in the other part of the house too. Emil L. Balusek

Ok people I’m really angry and disappointed with this company a friend referred me to them because I needed some heating service; my AC was working fine the only problem I had was it was not heating upstairs and wanted to see what can be done the guy that came was on time he looked everything and said that my thermostat is not circulating that’s the reason why is not heating upstairs; he called his manager and they told me that the best option will be to change thermostat to a newer that circulates and I’m able to control it; I said ok let’s doit He Said that he didn’t had the device with him he had to get it; the office is in Austin so I didn’t know where he got it from he came back maybe 10 minutes installed and showed me how to controlled it; I ask him how much he said 840 or so but because of the membership that they had they charged me 750 or so. He left and my friends comes to the house looks at the system they installed and said I have the same system but it cost me only $180 at Home Depot ; my friend was very upset and we called 3 x to talk to a manager to get an explanation why they will charge me so much ; no one called me to follow on me about this issue; I talk to a lady for the last time told her did they do the membership like I ask nope they didn’t even listen to what I said so they never did the membership they supposed to call me to sign me up for the membership so that if I have any air conditioning problem Ido t have to pay for the hand work only if they need to replaced a device; they never sign me up and I’m glad they didn’t but please do not go to this company they just try to take your money and they not considered or follow with you about any concern; I have requested a refund because they charge me so much was just a devise that’s costed $180 and they charge 750ish horrible service and customer service please do not go there.

Our company called Fox out to fix a leak. Fox sent out two employees. It took the two employees a total of 10 man-hours before they could pinpoint the leak. Once their assessment was completed, I asked them what the cost would be to fix the leak. The plumber didn't seem to know how to bid the job. So, he told me he needed to check with his supervisor and get a quote sent over. After I had to call Fox and request the quote, it was sent over. They quoted 6,200, for what we needed. After receiving their enormous quote, I called another plumbing company. I gave the other company the same instructions that I gave Fox. The second company found the source of the leak in less than 2 hours with only one employee. I asked the other company for a quote. The second company quoted the job for 1,600, that's 1/4 the quote Fox gave. The new plumber fixed the two leaks in less time than it took Fox's employees to even find the leak. The worst thing was Fox billed us $1,043.75, for their employees' time! Worse still, THEY DIDN'T FIX THE LEAK!After contacting Fox about their outrageous invoice they decided to take the to take off the helpers portion of the bill, $260. So in effect, we paid Fox $783 for a leak they NEVER FIXED!
