THE 5 STARS ARE FOR A-1 PLUMBING TECHNICIAN, DAVIAN ONLY!!I am writing this review because I want to warn propective customers that this company is not transparent with their pricing and do not disclose their basic prices to customers.As a result, I was caught off guard by a $254.00 charge, after the technician arrived at my home.I purchased a new stove and called TECO People's Gas, the provider of gas to my home. People's Gas recommended A-1 Plumbing. I called A-1 and was advised of a nonrefundable $79 dispatch fee. I asked the representative what would be the average charge for basic gas stove hookup. I was told their company policy prohibited this information from being related yo customers. I should have called another company. However, I decided on A-1 Plumbing assuming it should not cost more than $50-$75 for the hookup. The A-1 technician came out, took a picture of the connection, called the company, and was told to charge would be $175.00 for the hookup. Dispath fee $75 plus Hook up fee $175 = $254.00. There was no additional equipment or parts required. I called A-1 thinking the charge was an error. Spoke with Robbie, who said he was a manager. Robbie stated the $175 charge was the standard charge. I asked why wasn't I told the charge when I asked for it during my initial call. He reiterated the company's policy of not disclosing their pricing to customers.I told Robbie I thought the Company charge was exorbitant, their pricing misleading and I would give the company a less than positive review. Shortly, after, I received a call from Amber, stating the $79 dispatch fee would be waived. One positive for the company is Davian, the tecnician. Davian called before his arrival, arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and technically proficient. He tested for leaks around gas connection, insured the stove was balanced, and both stove burners and oven were correctly lighted and worked properly.Finally, although I appreciated the dispatch fee waiver, the fact remains that A-1 Plumbing's charged of $175 for a basic gas stove hookup was exhorbitant and bord er s on price gauging, they are not transparent with their pricing, and do not disclose to the customer their basic gas stove installation pricing. Beware of this company.!!! I will not use them ever again.

I'm truly happy to have hired JT Public Service & Repair LLC to replace shower valve, tub drain and outside water valves. Price affordable called many company's for repairs their cost bet out other company's. Thanks to them I can take a shower and enjoy my new shower set. I asked for a scope video of an older home that I thought might have clay tiles. The plumber with the video camera was prompt and had good equipment and knew what to do. As it turned out the plumbing had been replaced with PVC and there was just one connection that was questionable as a result of a Fernco coupling having a small separation between the connected pvc pipes but the camera allowed very careful review to determine that it appeared to be working properly. The owner answered his phone on Sunday and sent me the video and went through it with me. I thought this was above and beyond.

Found them on the day of the Grand Opening. David and Brian were both so friendly and helpful. They showed up at the time of the appointment, did an evaluation of my project and came up with a fair price. We set a date for the work to be completed. The work was completed in the time they estimated and the job was beautiful. I would happily use them again for my next project....
