I've had multiple jobs performed by Honey Do Service. Chad came out today and repaired front porch cracks and painted the front and back porch. He was done in a timely manner and walked me through the entire project. I've referred Honey Do to several friends. Great professional work!

I desperately needed repair work on my backyard fence. Given my budget, I was worried after paying the deposit I would be told the quote couldn't be done without more costs being added to complete the project. Honey Do Service was a God send. To my surprise, the serviceman Tristan arrived and was able to fix every picket that needed replaced. He took one look at my pitiful fence and simply smiled and went to work. The fence looks amazing! He went above and beyond to provide me with a beautiful fence again. Because of his craftsmanship and kindness, I will forever be using Honey Do Service each and every time I need home repairs! Thank you so much!

We had HoneyDo do several jobs and they did great on all fronts. When other contractors told us it would be months until they could just come out for a quote, HoneyDo was able to come out within a few days for a quote and then start the jobs a couple weeks after that. They did great work. Aaron did an increasingly job on our new bathroom and is an excellent tile layer. I would use Aaron and HoneyDo again for sure.

I came across Honey Do Service as a referral from my husband's friend who highly recommended Honey Do Service and they certainly lived up to their great reputation! Everyone that I came into contact with was very professional, kind, knowledgeable, empathetic, prompt and responsive. I talked to Nancy and Michelle at the front desk on several occasions, and Tristan was the handyman. All of 3 were amazing!! They've earned 5 stars and we will certainly call them for any future work that we need done. Highly recommended!!

I can not say enough good things about this company! In the past, I’ve dealt with unscrupulous contractors before finding Honey Do. The office is responsive & professional (Nancy), estimates are clear & their work has been well done. I’ve used them at both of my homes. Most recently, Aaron came out & replaced my bathroom countertop, installed lighting fixtures in bathroom & kitchen, replaced toilets, and other work. Aaron was on time, professional, & honest. His work was top notch! Highly recommend Honey Do!

First off, this office and their staff are incredible. They're super quick to respond and were always so friendly and helpful regarding any concern or question I had. Secondly, the craftsmanship of their team is wonderful! They took their time and explained everything they were doing so I could understand. It really showed they cared. I'll be recommending them to everyone I know!

I am extremely pleased with the work done by Chad. He arrived on time ready to work. Very nice & very professional. After assembling both Christmas box towers he insisted on plugging into the electrical outlet to ensure the lights worked properly. He also offered to dispose of the two large boxes. I keep seeing the truck around the beaches and finally called to set an appointment to complete a few small jobs. New over-the-range microwave installation, install 2 window blinds and fix a curtain rod then install some bathroom shelving.I feel like I was testing the “No job too small” tagline but Anthony was prompt, quick and professional. Due to my previous Gmail account being hacked, it appears that my review from September 2021 has disappeared.From my very first interaction with the Jacksonville East location, I felt confident that my search for a handyman was finally over! Upon receiving my online request, a very warm and friendly Michelle Wilson, followed up via phone to discuss. She listened intently and with empathy to make sure she could offer me the best plan of action.She scheduled Mason to come by within 24-48 hours to provide an estimate for the work. Mason was professional, genuine and friendly. He carefully listened to my animated stories of my wish list. He repeated the list and asked pertinent questions to ensure we were on the same page. Therefore ensuring I could be provided the best scenario for completion.Within 24 hours, Scott Wilson called to arrange a date for my wish list of “honey do” items. Scott spoke very highly of his team and wanted me to ensure I felt confident they would handle my needs with the best of care. One week later, Joey was scheduled and arrived to complete the list. He too was professional, diligent, friendly and a good steward of his time. I noticed the extra care he applied to even the menial items on my list.I could not be more pleased with every aspect and employee I dealt with. The personal touches of prompt follow up by Scott and Michelle definitely made a lasting impression on me. GIFTED HANDYMAN - Aaron.I rarely leave reviews but I felt compelled to give a shout out to Aaron of Honey Do Services due to his excellence. I had a list of 9-10 items of various things that needed installed or fixed and he checked them all off one by one perfectly and efficiently. He didn’t need to ask any questions and there was nothing he couldn’t do! Showed up on time and ready to get going. No wasting time! He is truly a gifted handyman and I highly recommend! And Honey Do Services are very professional, friendly, and informed me of exact pricing ahead of time (thanks, Nancy)

WARNING: price is charged hourly and you will be overcharged. I had a couple faucets that needed to be replaced and some pictures hung. After about 4 hours I called the office and stated I was concerned bc I knew I was paying an hourly rate and the services should have been completed by then. I was given excuse after excuse and after 8 hours and catching the guy on his phone most of the time instead of working I was slapped with an $800 bill. I spoke with the owner because I refused to pay that amount and he told me to “never contact“ then again. No problem and feel I should warn others! Beware!

I had a wonderful experience with Honey Do Service, Inc. Call to Nancy and she set up a someone to check out my 'issues' around the home and outside. Aaron scheduled within a week and did a VERY good job with all the task master list I had for repairs, dry wall problem, crack in chimney, numerous items from electrical to plumbing. I can't thank them enough for the professional work, great attitude and reasonable services!!

The handyman that did my work was Ray. He was prompt, professional and thorough. He made sure that each task was done to my satisfaction belied moving on to the next. I would recommend Honey Do and especially Ray!

We contacted several businesses to get a quote on a tub to shower conversion to make our small sized bathroom more accessible. It had a hideous refinished, flaking cast iron tub. We scheduled a time to discuss what we wanted to do. The quote from Honey Do was reasonable, and slightly less than I anticipated. Upon agreeing to the work, we paid half and the work was scheduled. It took a bit longer to finish the job, but there were no surprises. The bathroom is so much nicer and much more usable for a family member in a wheelchair. The quality of workmanship was great. Much attention was paid to the details. We are very pleased. Will certainly use them again for our next project.

Tristan did a fantastic job installing my TV wall mount onto my brick fireplace. He showed up on time, had a clear and transparent estimate, and he did a great job. There was no mess, and everything was crisp, clean and professional. I'd recommend Tristan and HoneyDo service to my family, friends and colleagues!

absolutely fantastic experience. I called Tuesday after the original company who we'd contracted with backed out because he forgot he was double booked. ugh. I needed a pavilion roof lifted up and installed on or before Saturday. they were able to schedule me for Friday afternoon. They called to confirm the time the day before. the men who arrived (on time) were knowledgeable, professional, courteous and really knew what they were were doing. they were very nice also. price was very reasonable also. we will definitely call them again. I'm very happy with this service and this company.

Driving through Georgia I came across a radio station where they were advertising a 150 dollars of work from the Honey Do Service I called in and paid the fee to receive my certificate of credit. When it came in i promptly called the Honey Do Service and scheduled a time for the estimator to come and give me a price on doors and a few bifold closet doors to be replaced. Estimator was amazing, very professional and had great attention to detail. Just as he was leaving I asked him to add the kitchen pantry to the bid he came back in an measured for the (2 ) 24 inch doors to do so. I shortly received an estimate called a person named Kim and gave the go ahead for the work, again i wanted to make sure that it included all the doors we had spoken about, I was assured it did. They required half down which I paid on the same day again glad to have this at least scheduled. To my dismay they scheduled the work two weeks out because they had to order the doors and hardware. The day of the appointment I got a call from the office and a new person Paige answered the phone said the handyman were running late that they were stuck in traffic. I could understand that after all I live In Jacksonville. The handyman and his wife showed up an hour and a half later with the doors in tow because they were in a long line at Home Depot. First Inconsistency Strike 1. So much for ordering doors and hardware two weeks ago. We went over the plan of what they were going to do and to my dismay they did not have the pantry Bifold doors listed on the work order therefore they had to go back to Home Depot to get another set.Inconsistency Number 2 I was assured that they were included on the proposal when I spoke to Kim two weeks earlier when scheduling Strike 2They said they would be done by the end of the day but probably because of the amount of smoke breaks they took it must have slowed them down? The returned the next day and promptly finished. I asked the handy man about the couple of questionable items that really stood out to me. One door was cut so that there was a 1/4 inch gap between the door and the frame at the top you can literally see daylight though the crack, the closet door which was also replaced with new door and hardware functioned fine until you tried to open it and the door knob would stick open not allowing it close you have to manually turn the knob back to make stay shut. Best of all it the bi-fold doors. He put the knobs on the ends so you physically have to use both hands to open them instead of placing them in the center near the place you would pull out to open, probably a matter of preference butt i wish they would have asked where I wanted to knobs. To add insult to this comedy of errors when they sent me the final bill it was 300 dollars more than what i had agreed to and had paid 50% of upfront....and YOU CANT MAKE THIS STUFF UPthey didn't even deduct the 150.00 certificate of credit. I called and asked about the bill and again spoke with Paige ( very sweet lady) I told her specifically what I was frustrated about and asked her to explain the breakdown of the new bill the answer was not acceptable and I told her I would be writing this detailed review to warn others. The owner did call me, and made apologies but at this point I just wanted to cut my losses and be done with them. He seems like a decent person. So bottom line...they took me for about 400 dollars more that what they had said in the beginning, I never did receive a breakdown of the charges for labor and materials NOR the credit for the stupid advertising certificate. I think it says it best on the bottom of their Website We are not a General Contractor God forbid they ever get one! I would stay away from these people, typical Bait and Switch. You would think I would learn....January 22, 2021 UpdatStill no itemized bill, still no refund for the 150 dollars certificate of credit still doors that do not open so not close...totally disgusted with these people time for the better business complaint

Excellent company and excellent employees. We recently purchased a home that had several repairs and maintenance items needed based on the inspection. Honey Do addressed them all and repaired in a timely manner. There was clear and timely communication throughout each step of the various projects. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable of the necessary repairs. They even went above and beyond the necessary repair on one item in order to avoid any issues in the future.I definitely recommend them and will call them whenever I have a repair or maintenance need.

Had them replace a toilet . A pipe busted in my house flooded my hallway and half my living room . Within minutes the Owner and his wife were there with the worker cleaning up the mess fix the leak shopped vac my whole house and made it actually look better. And gave me one heck of a discount. So Praise the Lord for Honey Do Service. Did great work on the toilet and all the other work needed . Looks perfect. I will always call on them when I need work

UPDATE: Less than 20 minutes after this review, we received a phone call, a refund of the rendering expense, and a sincere apology. The refund came as promised by the next morning and we got a 2nd call, again apologizing for the dropped ball. Their reasons for the lack of communication were new technology in the offices, staffing issues, and taking on more of a job than they were able to handle at that time. We appreciate the response and due to their goodwill, we will still use this company for small projects moving forward.We had used this company for another job in 2020 and we thought we would go with Honey Do for a major bathroom remodel. They came out and got what they needed to give a quote and we were supposed to receive a full rendering (which cost a couple hundred bucks) of 2 design options. Instead, we received a single, hand drawn (black & white) design (not using the products we were requested to provide for the rendering. A child could have drawn something better, but whatever. Maybe something happened to the design team??? The ultimate kicker is that we have waited almost a month if not a full month for them to schedule this remodel. We have called and written email, etc. but no one wants to give us the courtesy of returning our calls and emails. Supposedly this business is under new management but I think that time is better spent elsewhere instead of wasting it on this joke of a company. I don't know a business around that would ghost a client who is willing to pay more than $12,000 for its services. I would understand if it were a smaller job but even then, what this company is doing is so disrespectful to its customers. Definitely will not use this company.

Called them the remove old storm damaged fencing on two sides of the house and an old deck. I sent pics. Without even seeing the job in person, Scott quoted me $3400.00. If I wasn't disabled, I do it myself. Two grown men could knock this job out in half a day.

I called to see if they could do the work from an inspection for my mom's home that was being sold. He answered when I called , said he would come and look and give an estimate. He showed up on time, scheduled the work. Got in done in the time frame he said he would. I called to pay him and he told me he took 720.00 off the bill because where he was installing a new range hood already had the circuit.Can not say enough about the prompt service, reasonable price and upmost importance how honest he was.Highly recommend this company for your job, big or small.Outstanding experience

I had them give me a quote on several different things I needed done on a house I had just bought. I got the quote/contract, signed it, and paid half upfront. The workers showed up and did a very good job. After he had finished all the work he handed me the contract in order to pay the remaining balance and I saw that they had added over $200 without ever discussing it with me in advance. They did knock some of the price off because it didn't take them as many hours as they estimated so in reality the original quote should have been lower but I still wound up paying more than I should have. Despite that I called them to come back and give me another estimate on some additional work and while the estimator was here I mentioned the added money to the other contract and he said he would discuss it with the owner get back with me. That was over 2 months ago and I have not heard from anyone. I've called twice since then and asked for Mason (the estimater) but he will not speak to me nor will he return my calls. Very unprofessional.

We hired The HoneyDoService to do some work for us and the entire process was great from beginning to end. Someone came out to give us an estimate then Joey came out to do the work. He did outstanding work. Both guys, Mason and Joey, were very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. We definitely will call on them again in the future for other projects.

Joey did a phenomenal job at my house this morning. He was respectful of my home, was quick and efficient! He made cosmetic repairs to my outside AC unit as well as leveling the concrete slab the unit sits on, fixed a breaker, AND fixed some loose shingles on our roof. Would recommend this company to anyone and definitely will be using them in the future!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Extremely unreliable and unprofessional. I attempted to schedule work with them a month ago. I scheduled a date for them to do the work and the day before they called to schedule as though it wasn’t already scheduled. They had to reschedule for 2 weeks later. I drove to the rental house to meet them on the day it was rescheduled. After they did not show up I called and they told me they were too busy and could not make it. They wasted my time and now after a month I have to start over looking for a different company.Poor business practices and terrible customer service.In response to owner's response: Sorry, but you can't explain this away. After finally having a rescheduled date for the work I drove all the way to my rental only to have you not show up or call. It was only after I called your office that I was made aware you had no intentions of showing up. Again, poor business practices.Plenty of handyman providers out there and I chose the wrong one.

I was selling my house in Arlington, the buyers sent their inspectors out. I had some things that needed fixed/repaired before closing. I could have done the work myself but never would have met the deadline. These guys came out and gave me an estimate, free mind you, I accepted we had an agreement. The owner call me personally and we discussed my closing date. He saw this through. The new buyers did a walk through on their way to closing. I was pleased and the buyers were pleased. These guys did everything to meet my date and the workmanship was excellent, it wasn’t just a “get-by” to sell my property. I recommend these guys and will use them again if they come to Yulee!!You will not go wrong if you give them a chance.R Thigpen

Thank you to The Honey Do Service of Jacksonville. As a Realtor, it is important to have a resource that can provide all services needed to accommodate the a repair order and get your listing to the closing table. The Honey Do Service of Jacksonville is my go to for this. They were able to get me on their schedule so that I could meet my deadline. The workers are respectful and tidy. This is my second time using this company and I am looking forward to having them in my tool kit.

They overcharged me by $292.18. When I pointed this out at the beginning of March, I was told wait until my payments posted and then they would reimburse me. I never heard anything back, so I called last week and spoke with Michelle, the owner. She said she was going to look into it and call me back this week to resolve the issue. I have not heard back from her. Be careful when you receive an estimate, it is not what you will be charged, based on my experience and other reviews I have read.Update: In response to the owner Michelle's reply to my review. I am sorry but you are not telling the truth here. I can show you my estimate of $584.35. You overcharged me. I have been waiting for you to call me back to try to resolve this since April 21, 2022.

The two gentlemen who caulked our three story townhouse were efficient and so pleasant. Scott was able to get us sheduled even though they were backed up with the amount of rain we've had. I would recommend this company. Honest, good folks and reasonably priced.

Mason estimated the job and presented their proposal. He is knowledgeable and professional. Joey completed the work-installation of new kitchen faucet and new garbage disposal. He also painted a small, high spot in kitchen. Both men were well groomed and personable. The price was fair and reasonable.

Took out two side by side windows and put in sliding patio doors. Took out the existing door and replaced it with a full window the size of the door. Was very respectful of my house. I have underlying health so Aaron and Joey wore masks. Did exceptional work and very clean. Would recommend them to anyone who needs handyman work done...

My mother recently sold her house on Amelia island. There were a few things that needed to be done as per the new owners. Scott not only returned our call immediately but also came to do the estimate when he said he would. The work was not only completed prior to closing but was $700 less than estimated as not everything needed to be done. Scott informed us of this and refunded the money. Most impressive.

Found them on the day of the Grand Opening. David and Brian were both so friendly and helpful. They showed up at the time of the appointment, did an evaluation of my project and came up with a fair price. We set a date for the work to be completed. The work was completed in the time they estimated and the job was beautiful. I would happily use them again for my next project....

Stefan showed up on time and went far beyond my expectations in completing a caulk job that had been complicated by another tradesman. He pain great attention to detail, and when he left, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, without a trace that anyone had worked in there. He gave clear follow up instructions, and explained the one year warranty to me. I will definitely use this veteran owned company again.

2Months later their outstanding customer service they brag about has not motivated to botched job they did at my house. Doors cut to short doors that will not close bifold doors you can’t open.... beware of this company especially since they use bait and switch tactics. Offering a certificate of credit for 150 dollars then never adjust the bill to reflect the discount.... rip off report!!

They say they don't have a client record to hide this review. Nonsense! Look elsewhere for your handyman needs! They were supposed to be here between 9-10 AM and by 2PM - no one had showed up. The company representative lied to us over and over again about why they weren't here so we just cancelled. The company then lied again about issuing us a refund for our deposit, which we STILL don't have. Terrible! Dishonest! Shameful!

David completed the modification work on table while I waited. These guys are very professional and willing to help. I will not hesitate to use them in future!
