Best Hot Water Supply in Irvine CA

Repipe and new water heater completed about a week ago with drywall a few days ago with the city inspection lined up in between. Gilbert and repipe crew were on time, efficient, and did a solid job. No major surprises or hiccups and the repipe took about 1,5 days.

Two days later Julio and the drywall guys came in and they went above and beyond! The drywall and texture were perfect and they finished up 3-4 hours ahead! The BONUS surprises included a few patched up door handle wall dings and a fixed wall corner chunk that they roughly mudded up and textured without prompting! These guys are awesome!!!

They don't in fact have a local representation in Orange County. They are in San Diego. Scam.

This review is both for Kalka Air, and Brandon, the service technician who came to our home.

First, let me give the review some context - our home is serviced by two separate air conditioning units. On the Friday before Labor Day at 5:30 p.m., when it had been over 100 degrees for at least 2 straight weeks, BOTH of our air conditioners broke down. We have two toddlers under 3 years old. The temperature inside the home was unbearable, and down right unsafe for two babies. After spending a sleepless Friday night in total misery, we took the kids to a hotel.

Kalka Air was the ONLY company who returned my calls. I left messages with half a dozen HVAC companies in the area, including our home warranty company, and NO ONE got back to me that weekend except Kalka. On top of that, they sent a service technician out on Sunday morning. Did I mention this was Labor Day weekend???

Not only did Kalka come to the rescue for our family on a holiday weekend when literally no other company even gave me a call-back, but to boot, the service technician Brandon (I’m sorry, I don’t remember his last name) was the most thoughtful and empathetic technician I’ve ever met. He spent the time to explain everything he was doing, step-by-step, he was extremely patient (especially with my 2 year old son who kept handing Brandon his little tikes tools in an attempt to help the situation), and he stuck around to answer all of our questions after fixing BOTH air conditioning units.

Even though this review is a little late, I want to make sure that I give a GIANT thank you (and 5 star review) to both Kalka Air and their service technician Brandon, because they were the heros of the summer for our family. I highly recommend them to anyone who’s in need of HVAC work in Orange County. I definitely plan on using them in the future!

Nolan and Nate came out to identify the issue behind our leaking problem and have done a great job figuring out where and what the problem was.

Thomas and Gregory are fantastic at what they do. They came out following a leak in one of my lines, replaced the section and advised on what to expect next.

Following all the drywall repairs, they came back out to put the washer and dryer back since the laundry room was affected, as well as fully reinstall the water heater back to its spot following drywall repair behind its spot. The quality of the re-installation was even better than how it was in there before when we purchased the home. Thomas is a perfectionist and I'd recommend him to anybody that wants their plumbing done right.

Slab Leaks Plus did a fantastic job for us! They came in and were able to find the leak in about 20 minutes. They were also easy to work with, did quality work, and their pricing was reasonable. Our leak was in a pipe under the slab of our house going to the downstairs lavatory. Through the wall of our house, Slab Leaks Plus disabled the leaking pipe and rerouted it. There was minor construction to our wall for repair, which was done nicely. I highly recommend Slab Leaks Plus and will not hesitate to call them again for future plumbing and slab leak needs.

We had a leak under our house for over a year and tried two other plumbing companies to detect it - both were unsuccessful! My cousin suggested we contact Evans Leak Detection and Slab Repair because they have better equipment for locating hidden leaks. And I am very pleased with the service, and Evans is the best leak detection company! I highly recommend them to anyone!

Very bad experience with them, and no wonder why they won’t give any flat inspection fee or a quotation before job start. Tech dig whole afternoon but can’t find where leaks but still charge for $700.

Slavi and OC Repipes replaced a traditional water heater with a Navient tankless. In and out same day, cleaned up after themselves and did an outstanding job. We love the instant hot water and Slavi was very forthcoming with recommendations and the pros and cons of going tankless. We would absolutely recommend them.

I found Pipeline several years ago when my parents rental property had a slab leak. Pipeline was great- very attentive and fixed the leak quickly.
The pipe held up great for 5 years but recently started leaking again. We called Pipeline to initiate the warranty they touted when they sold us their services but were told that the warranty no longer applied since we ended up selling the house to a family friend. We spoke with three different people and were told the same thing, It's in the fine print. While I can't argue the terms of their service, if it is fact written in the paperwork, it's evident that they're prefer not to do the right thing. A lifetime repair should not have failed after five years regardless of who owns the home. I respect their legal right to not stand by their services but would also like potential customers to know about our experience should you have a warranty claim for their lifetime product.
You may be better off taking your business elsewhere, I wish we had.

*edit* They called our friends back this week to reiterate that the repair was not covered under warranty but offered to come out and provide a quote to repair it again. Thanks but no thanks.
