A few months back we had an emergency back-up in our main line. Disgusting water was backing up out of our toilets and into our downstairs tub. A friend referred us to Michael who is the owner of Duggan Plumbing and Rooter Service and we could not have been more relieved. My water heater had been leaking for awhile. It was clear I needed a new one. At my neighbor's suggestion, I called Sage Plumbers. Brendan and Alex came over the same day and assessed the situation. Brendan gave me several different options for replacing the heater. He took the time to answer my questions. He made recommendations based on my needs. The quote I received was very fair. Brendan and Alex were able to have the new water heater installed before the end of the day. They left the work area cleaner than they found it. I highly recommend Sage Plumbers. $77 Drain clean promotion agreed over the phone. Dispatch called late to push the appointment to the following day. Technician got there and said he will only do a water jet on this job at a cost of $800 with a guarantee of success or no pay. The water jet guy got there and sent a camera down and called me saying the pipes need scraping first for a total of $1,800. I told him no and that I would get a second opinion. He then tried to bind me to the agreement. I said not a chance. He then tried to charge me $260 for running the scope down the drain. I said no. He then tried to get me to pay their minimum charge of $49. I said no. What a racquet! I promise you this review will go on Yelp as well.

I took the day off so that I'm home when the work is being done, just to find out that they cannot make it due to other work backed up and asked if I could reschedule for another day. Never happened to us with other services. Very unprofessional.

Terrible experience - had a blocked drain, my husband had tried clearing with a snake, but with no luck so decided to call 'professionals'. Had to wait two days for availablity, so had no use of our kitchen sink, laundry, dishwasher and utility sink. When they finally did arrive, they were incredibly unprofessional and grumpy. Very little effort put in to actually do anything, told us it was a cracked pipe and quoted $3,500 for 'spot repair'!!!

Called a different local plumber who came the next day, turns out it was just a blocked drain after all and they sorted it within 30mins
