He also pointed out the extra steps he took to make the entire set up more secure than it had been following the original construction. I spoke with him afterwards. In the world of contractors, I am always looking to find a guy who I can count on who does X. Mike is now forever more . . . my plumbing guy. You should consider making him yours. (By the way, guy in this case is intended to be a gender neutral term and only refers to a person (man or woman) who I can count on to be fast, fair and to do a good job (mechanic/electrician/HVAC, whatever)--if I had a gender-neutral term that captured the same arm's-length-small-business-owner vibe, I would have used it.)
