Junior replaced the Hot/Cold water valves for my washer. He also fixed the broken drain for my bath tub. The tub had a really bad broken drain and Junior removed it carefully enough that it didn’t break or chip my tub. He was very professional, new what he was doing and very funny. It helped since it was an expensive repair. The communication was great, punctual and very neat doing his work. Would definitely use Gold Star again and recommend it to my friends.

From the perspective of an ex employee: This company is a far cry from what it once was. Keith (the owner) hired me at $18/hr as the highest paid helper. There are multiple techs with more tenure that were making $16/hr. He explicitly said not to tell any other employees how much I was making. Anyway, as field staff I was told to milk customers for as much as possible. There are some good guys in the field but overall I would not recommend this company to anyone. Charging people for unnecessary repairs and pulling numbers out of a hat is the name of their game. Apparently graduating from BYU doesn't give you any morals. Hey Keith!
