We’ve had them service our heater, do some plumbing work and fix our a/c system. Every time the staff have been friendly and clean up after the work is completed.

When our heater went out on one of the coldest days of the year, Biggerstaff worked quickly to arrange someone to come out to take a look. In the meantime, they talked us through ways to keep the house warm. They checked in the next day with additional information. Biggerstaff's friendly and helpful service exceeded our expectations!

Great service. They have replaced my furnace, air conditioner, water heater and multiple plumbing projects. They have stood behind their products and taken wonderful care of us.

Had our 20-year old Lenox AC/Furnace replaced 2-months ago by Biggerstaff. The installation went as expected and as outlined in the pre-construction bids. Mr. Johnson, who bid the project, was great to work with and was very interested in designing a system that met our budget and HVAC needs. He identified and corrected a problem with our original HVAC design that has greatly improved our living experience and reduced monthly energy costs! He was an absolute pleasure to work with.

The installation techs were professional, knowledgeable, respectful (e.g., cleaned up, put things back as they found them, etc.), and courtesy. I also appreciate the follow up contacts by Mr. Johnson in regards to how things were working and on the status of our energy rebates. I give Biggerstaff my highest recommendation! They will be my first call for any HVAC needs for our family.

Reliable, excellent product. Love my service man. Is very professional and knowledgeable yet personable and takes the time to answer all my questions and explain in a manner I can understand. For example how humidity settings affect the temperature the heat pump emits.

I inquired about adding a whole home HVAC humidifier as well as preventatively replacing my 13 year old sump pump a few months ago. Every question and/or concern was answered thoroughly. The HVAC crew and plumbing crew were separate yet Dennis was able to arrange for both crews to come out for the same appointment time...which was greatly appreciated.

For anyone questioning whether an HVAC humidifier is worth it....I 100% approve. I have a hygrometer/thermometer at my home and office. My office is currently 71 degrees and 17% humidity. My home is 70 degrees and 40% humidity. It's not just a number....my home has no static, my skin isn't dry, I have less congestion, and it just feels more comfortable. I've tried numerous plug-in humidifiers that end up getting moldy, only good for one room, and are just a huge hassle. It might be more money upfront but the cost of the HVAC system is the way to go. Thank you Jim for coming out this evening to get my A/C cooling again. I called the company that installed a new furnace and air conditioner 2 years ago and was told it would be a week until someone could come out. It was 85 degrees in my house so called Biggerstaff and Jim was out in about an hour. Found the defective part and it's cool again! Many thanks Jim for your kindness and professionalism...

Yesterday, for the second time this year, Biggerstaff was able to come out and help with with a plumbing emergency on just a few hours notice. Thank you so much for all you have fixed for me, this year. Also, thanks for being very efficient on the job and very nice people.

We had numerous other companies come out before Biggerstaff. They all seemed clueless and said they'd be getting back to us with more information of what needed to be done.
Biggerstaff came today and has our A/C running and operating like normal again. Only took him a couple of hours and at a very good price for the repairs.

While discussing our son's allergies with Jim at Biggerstaff Plumbing Heating & Air, he suggested that we look into a Reme-Halo In-Duct Air Purifier. After reading the brochure, talking to someone that already had one installed and a little on-line research, we decided to try it. There is way less dust in our house and we all feel better when it comes to allergies. The air purifier installed a few months ago. When I turned the heat on this fall, we didn't have the usual burning smell. Having the Reme-Halo Air Purifier installed was a smart decision for us.

Got me in much faster than I expected, they got the known issues fixed quickly, and figured out an unknown issue in time to fix it before it got any worse. 10/10, highly recommend.

My water heater went out and was running/leaking water. I called Biggerstaff and they sent someone out right away to shut it off. The very next day I had a new one installed. They were friendly, fast, and efficient! I also called John Henry's but they were $300 more expensive and didn't have scheduling that worked, I'd have to wait longer. Great experience with Biggerstaff! Will use from now on and highly recommended.

Our water heater was dripping for several months and then started to leak at the bottom. I called Biggerstaff on Friday afternoon and got a quote. Was waiting for some additional quotes so called back Monday morning to schedule the work. They honored the price quote they gave me Friday even though they had just gotten word of a price increase. They also had a cancellation and were able to send someone out within 30 minutes. New hot water heater was working great within a couple hours. Thanks so much for the great service! And I was able to get a $150 rebate from Black Hills Energy for this energy saving water heater.

If you have an old boiler in Lincoln, Nebraska Jake is your man. Excellent knowledge base and customer service -highly recommended .

Called Friday secretary said she would have some one call me back same day. Now Monday no word from them thankfully I got someone to come Saturday but had to pay a premium fee for weekend just because I thought I would get a call back guess it's half my fault but when someone says they'll do something you kind of expect them to do it

Called for a quote on a project and I was left with the impression that the Service manager I spoke to was angry that I was calling him with my business.

I asked the receptionist if they install a certain brand of ac systems, she told me she would get me to someone and he picked up, didn’t introduce himself, say hello or ask any questions just said something along the lines of …yea we don’t install those… in a tone which made it very clear my business was unwelcome. If he had simply taken the time to speak briefly with me about my goals for the project he would have learned that I was very open to and ready to pay for an alternative system had he simply suggested a way to solve my problem instead of treating me like I don’t matter.

This is one of those instances that if I could give more than five stars I would. I have used Biggerstaff's both for plumbing repair and for a major HVAC replacement and they have provided outstanding service, I couldn't be more pleased. The plumbing problem involved reduced waterflow in my kitchen faucet. Another company told me my water pipes would need to be replaced. Joedy, the plumber they sent out, popped the end off the faucet and said it was clogged and he could clean it out with no problem ... issue solved. He also did some work on a very old toilet that will prevent me from having to replace it for awhile rather than trying to sell me a new one. The HVAC project was a major undertaking and I even had companies turn me down because it was going to be a lot of work in difficult surroundings. My furnace is in the crawlspace under the house with no access other than to crawl on hands and knees through a small opening. Somehow they managed to get the old system out and install a new one. I know the new system only fit through the opening by fractions of an inch. The three technicians, Thad, Jackson, and Jeremy spent two whole days crawling in and out under the house doing the work. The crawlspace itself is only about 36 inches high so they were on their hands and knees the whole time building my furnace piece by piece. They never complained, were courteous, professional, and the very best people I could imagine working with. Finally, Jim Johnson the fellow that provided the estimate and shepherded the project through, has been terrific to work with. He has always been responsive to questions, even dumb ones, knowledgeable about the products, and helpful in determining what would be right for my situation. I know this is long, but they deserve a long review. These folks are truly the best of the best !!!

I had an exceptional experience with Biggerstaff. It is hard to find any service where the employees are competent, professional, and customer service oriented, but Biggerstaff proved that they do still exist. We needed an HVAC humidifier installed rather quickly due to some health issues that I was experiencing. When they came out to quote the job, they inquired about how I was feeling and hoped that I felt better soon. They also offered suggestions while we waited for our install date. Service like this is hard to come by. We will use them in the future for sure!

I have used Biggerstaff for many years. I had a plumber come out to put in a new shower. He came out to do the work and he tracked mud all over my house. He put in the new shower fixture and he left solder all over the new tub surround. It was everywhere. Then when I went to put the remainder of the shower surround in, I discovered he put the shower fixture in two inches too deep. When I called, they argued with me that I was wrong. He finally came back out to fix the poor work. When he did, he tracked mud all over my house a second time. I showed him that he had done it incorrectly and he agreed and moved it forward. He got it positioned and then very arrogantly came and asked me to tell him where it should go despite giving him the sourround and everything he needed to know to do the job. I showed him and it was installed correctly. This time he left solder all over the place again, including on the outside of the tub, the floor and the sourrounding drywall. I called the company to let them know about this and they only said Hmm. That's not like him. They charged me full price, which is fine, but then charged me to have him come back again despite me telling them I had to steam clean my carpets because of all the mud ground into the carpet. I noticed shortly thereafter that each time I turned the shower on, brown water came out and was staining the shower. I called to talk to management about it but they refused to call me back. I hired another plumber to come out and he indicated that it was installed improperly and not properly flushed properly. He fixed it and didn't leave a speck of solder or mud in my home. He gave me a list of things to watch for and said if things came up to give him a call and he'd swing by to fix it. I've had no problems since. I won't use Biggerstaff again because they are not a professional group from top to bottom. They used to be and we used them for 15 years prior, but this fiasco demonstrates the lack of willingness to take responsibility for mistakes or be responsive.

Had Biggerstaff replace a faulty LP thermocoupler assembly that normally retails around $34 for which I was later billed $235 for the part alone. The 700% upcharge explanation being I was buying an implied warranty that would cover the cost of them coming out in case the new part also proved faulty. Huh???

Great job. I am so glad it was only the compressor and not the whole unit. Thank you for saving my life and letting me get my ac back and running.

On June 2nd, 2020 our Heat Pump stopped working - called for service - they were there the next day. Needed to order a part. We called multiple times the following week and the next week checking to see if the part was in so we could schedule service. No one seemed to know anything. No one ever tracked down this part or informed us that it was in. After numerous calls to Biggerstaff, we were finally told the part was in on June 18th. Not once did anyone from the office reach out to us. Had we not called - who knows how long we would have waited for them to notify us the part was in. The Heat pump was finally repaired on June 19th, 2020. We talked to the Manager in the office, asking for our bill to be reduced - all we got was Sorry We Dropped the Ball! Really that's it? We have been using Biggerstaff for years, and they were just out in October for maintenance. We will no longer use Biggerstaff for anything!

The staff is always EXTREMELY rude and arrogant. They were three hours late to the time they were scheduled to repair a piece of commercial equipment. When I asked them about how long it would take for them to finish the job they responded STOP ASKING WE WILL BE DONE WHEN WE FINISH Very unprofessional I highly suggest going elsewhere.

Biggerstaff was efficient and timely in our need to get our garbage disposal fixed! The plumber called when he arrived to work and called to verify completion. Explained what he had done and asked if we needed any more help.

Biggerstaffs had kept my old air conditioning unit running from when I moved to my house in Lincoln in 2014 until the unit finally died in June of 2020. They sent someone out on a Monday to check it, then had a crew here early on Wednesday to install the new air conditioner. They were friendly, professional, and answered every question I had. I'll keep doing business with them.

Rude almost hostile attitude. Charged 500 dollars to check for a leak on my a/c. Then said it would take at least a month to get a new unit. I recommend calling any other HVAC company in town before these folks.

We appreciate Cindy for getting us a serviceman out right away for our toilet repair. We had flooding from our master bathroom to our main level bathroom and called Biggerstaff right away. It was extremely hot when our AC expired. Biggerstaff technicians came and assessed our situation. They gave us options and we chose to go with a new high efficiency AC. Their bid was very competitive. The install was completed promptly and they cleaned up very well after the install. Thanks again!
