The lady answering the phone was very polite and easy to talk to. When the serviceman arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in no time. He also fixed our bathtub. Very professional and the price was competitive. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again for any future problems.

Should be a no star review. The woman that answers the phone is horrible and rude. I should have known something would go wrong. Plumber damaged my tile and didn't speak with me before he left. Threw the service call sheet at my wife and ran out the door. When I went in to the bathroom later, I realized he cracked my tile. I called them to bring it to their attention and the same woman answered. The plumber wouldn't speak with me. She yelled back and forth with him while I was listening. She said, Oh, your tile was already cracked. It wasn't. The plumber took a picture before he pulled the stool, so it was already cracked. Perhaps he should have showed that to me. Know why he didn't? Because it wasn't cracked. Scam operation. Avoid at all cost. If AHS is going to send them out, decline and ask for someone else.

We have used Hudgins a few times. They have always been on time, with a call to let us know they are on the way. They made (without my asking) effort to protect our wood floors from their heavy drain tool. Super impressed by that.

They made my shower leaking issue worse. I had to tighten the shower head myself after they left because they failed to screw it in tight and it was spraying everywhere. I also had to adjust the handle because it would no longer turn to hot. Thy also replaced the spout with a shorter one, which didn't need to be replaced. I'm now stuck with a spout that wiggles and rattles everything in the wall. I wish I could give them ZERO stars for making my issue worse.

This company was assigned to replace my water heater by my home warranty company, American Shield. I cannot say enough about their wonderful customer service. I did not meet the plumber that came to my home, but I was told he was pleasant and professional. The office manager was so helpful to me during the 3 day process of dealing with the warranty company and worked very hard to provide the best outcome! Thank you for caring about your customers!

Our experience was so bad my wife had to call me from work to come home because she didn’t feel comfortable with the technicians working on the water heater.

She said they were singing wildly and loudly off key on purpose, they were wrestling and punching each other in the yard, and they were throwing pieces of pipe and tools into the garage and screaming. They were also two hours late and left trash and pieces of pipe and even a tool in our garage. They dropped a Reesie‘s wrapper in our driveway and didn’t even pick it up.

American Shield home warranty said This company was their top plumbers they could send out. We could not afford the professional work of Bob at Tulsa Plumbing Repair LLC, But we are now calling him out to pay for a inspection.

We asked Hodgkins if they could send out a senior plumber who is highly experienced to inspect the install but unfortunately they said those two guys were there most experienced plumbers.

I had a home warranty with the purchase of our new home and had to have a plumber come fix our upstairs shower drain. Hudgins Plumbing came and fixed the problem, however, they did a very unprofessional job. The piping that was replaced hangs down past the celling and the sheetrock people are not able to fix the hole in my celling until they fix the pipe from hanging down first.
I have call several times and left a message with there answering service and have not received a phone call; it has been one month now.....

I have to let everyone know, DO NOT USE this company for anything.
What kind of plumber doesn't make sure that the pipe fits in the hole and that the hole in a celling can be fixed.?????

They did an awesome job on a slab repair. Water was seeping from under my tile and the guys were able to dig it up and repair it in a timely fashion. They cleaned up their mess and were very courteous. Will use them again in the future!!!

I wouldn't recommend them. For one they don't have 24hr emergency service. Second we had to call them back out for a botched job they did on our toilet in our guest bathroom. Third we had them come out for a freeze break and told us they would have rip apart our master bathroom and cost us thousands of dollars. So we called out another plumber and fixed it for 200.00. And they didn't have rip apart anything. The only reason we use them because of a home waranty we have. We get dinged 75.00 dollars anytime they come out even when they don't fix anything. I filed a complaint with our home waranty company. Now our hot water tank has gone out on a Sunday and they won't come out.

American Home Shield denied my claim, even though it was clearly covered under my contract. The contractor from John Hudgins Plumbing waited patiently at my house while I resolved the issue with them so he could still do the work. Even though it took 40 minutes of hold time and 10 minutes of arguing with American Home Shield to get them to understand why this claim was covered (read your contracts! Don't just accept a denial because they can be wrong), he stayed and completed the job with no complaining or hesitation.

Hudgins Plumbing has always serviced my clients well with warranty issues.
As a realtor I appreciate the peace of mind they provide to me after a home sale.

First of all the lady who answers the calls has horrible customer service skills! I called to reschedule my appointment and she told me a totally different time frame then when I logged into my home warranty page to check the status it also said a different time frame so I'm sitting at home confused as can be! I call Hudgins Plumbing and she said I said I scheduled for an afternoon appointment wow it just gets better of course I don't say anything and just figured I'd wait around til about 2pm-5pm and it's about 10amish so I leave to go to the store and about an hour later around 11 she calls back and says the plumber is on his way!!! Wow at this point I'm just fed up and called the home warranty # to get another contractor out cause Hudgins Plumbing sound alike they got their own troubles to deal with! This sounds confusing that's how I felt with Hudgins Plumbing!

I would not refer this company, I had some work on Wednesday and I still have the same problem. This company does not like working with home warranty companies They do a half ass job take your money and do not stand by their work.

So someone broke into my house while I was at work one day.. right beside my bed was a hat with the name of hudgins plumbing on it. The authorities took it for testing of DNA n I called the company to let them know that one of their workers had broken into my home n the lady that answered the phone acted like I was bothering her... Like this was nothing new to them.... So please beware of these guys cause obviously this happens more than not......... We ended up moving because my child did not feel safe, how dare u take that away from a family being the safety of their own home!!!!! Shame on y'all!!!!!

Do not use this company. The lady that answered the phone is just down right rude and acted like us getting a second opinion was silly. If your asking me to give you $5,000-$6,000 I'm gonna make sure of pricing and how capable you are. The home warranty people are who sent them out in the first place. They where supose to give us a quote for the job on monday my husband checked back with them every day. and when i called them on Thursday the lady acted like I was bothering her. We ended up using a different company with much better ratings and it cost us $2,500 alot less then what they wanted us to pay.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! BEWARE OF JOHN HUDGINS PLUMBING!!! I STRESS, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This company sent out a technician to fix our water heater. They were referred by Choice Home Warranty. He looked at the Unit and found that the problem was POSSIBLY OR COULD USUALLY be a pin hole leak in the tank. Our warranty does not cover the tank. Basically the technician had no clue what the problem was; so Hudgins said they could replace the unit for ~$1,200. Since the drop pan was dry, we got a second opinion. Bryant Plumbing came out an replaced the faulty gas valve for $324 in less than an hour; which includes the time it took him to go out to get the part, consult with us and write us the detailed invoice.

Whoa! I just saw a picture of what is apparently taken in the front of John Hudgins Plumbing stating Water Heater Acting Goofy, Let Us Service It. REALLY? They won't know what the Goofy is and will try to replace the unit. If they can't figure out what the problem is, would you trust them to SAFELY replace it?

I'm not sure how they have 3 stars. I would give less than one if I had the option.

I had a tankless water heater installed, which works great. However, they did not tell me that I would need a roofer to properly finish the job until it was already installed. Now we have water damage in the attic and ceiling. They take no responsibility. I would have waited until I scheduled a roofing company to fix the water heater if I had known before.

Dean the plumber was professional. However, the woman in the office was rude every time I called. Zero customer service on her part.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical of this company after reading some of these 1 star reviews; but I have got to say they were VERY impressive. Lisa was quick, professional and courteous to set up the appointment and Dean solved the problem quickly and I will certainly use them again!

Avoid at all cost. They are rude and do not communicate with their plumbers. It seems like they do not like working with people with home warranties. If your home warranty company assigns them I would ask to switch. I received a call from them this morning and I specifically told the lady that my wife will not be back till 3 because she picks up our son from school. She did not tell the plumber so when he tried to come at 2 we had to tell him no one would be there. The lady then calls me to reschedule and says that I did not tell her that and that she didn't remember having that conversation. I would not do business with them. And if you look through the other reviews you will see that she is usually the problem.

Update: I know she was lying because she sent a note to the home owners warranty saying that the appointment was set up between 3-5.

They just replaced our water heater and did such a professional job. I was a little worried after seeing some of the negative reviews and this was who our home warranty company contracted so I felt I didn't have much choice, but I am pleasantly surprised. They diagnosed on Friday and replaced it on Monday. They worked quickly and efficiently. I was told I would get a call before they arrived, but I never did. That may bother others, but wasn't a big deal for me. We'll see if the new water heater holds up, but so far I'm satisfied!

This company is excellent! They diagnosed my slab leak and were able to do the repair and fix my issue with prompt service. Dean and Ben were professional and courteous. The office lady worked with my home warranty to and my out of pocket was doable. Would recommend for all plumbing needs!!

I am so glad HWA sent this Company. They were so Professional. Above and beyond what I expected. And my Plummers were Eye 🍬😉🙂🙃😅🤣. But seriously, two of the items were botched by previous folks that just took our $$$ basically. Thank you much for caring about you do! And the Office Personnel were kind as well. Thank Mindy!

My home warranty service dispatched Hudgins plumbing to remove and replace my shot hot water heater. They came out the same day assessed the situation ordered and came back the next day and replaced heater in about one hour. The guys Jason and Dean were very professional, courteous and knowlegable. I highly recommend Hudgins plumbing for any plumbing needs and will use them again for any future plumbing problems. V. Baker

I ran into a complication with my Home Warranty company. No work was ever done at my residents but Jeff waited on hold with them for 1 hour, with no profit to him, to help me get my situation taken care of. I am so grateful for their great customer service. I would definitely call them FIRST for any future work done.

Avoid this company at all cost! In early March 2018, I had a sewer line problem at my house. I have a home warranty and John Hudgins plumbing is who my warranty service contracted for the job. The plumber sent to my home was not able to find a trap in my yard to access the sewer line, they told me they would have to access the line by a vent in my roof. They used a metal cable to feed into my sewer line from the roof. When they did this the metal cable was allowed to scrape and scuff my new gutters in multiple places. They were less than one year old and in perfect condition prior to them coming to my house. During the job the cable became stuck and they eventually left the equipment and came back the next day. There was absolutely no communication on the second day. I had no idea what time they would be back to my house and nobody would return my call. Once the cable became stuck it was obvious they had no interest doing their job and actually fixing the problem but rather just wanted to retrieve their equipment and leave. After they were able to free the line on the second day I was given an invoice for $75, which is the copay with my home warranty and was told that was all I owed. I asked the technician to take a look at the damage they caused to my gutters and all he said was well I'll just have to talk to the owner and go from there. They left and the plumbing problem was no closer to being fixed.

I left multiple messages and never heard back from them over the next week. Finally, a person answered when I called. She said I owed them $1000 for their service, I was being billed per hour, per technician, for them to 1. not fix the problem and 2. Damage my property. She offered to have someone with the plumbing company come out and spray paint my gutters. Another week went by and still I had heard anything from them. I called back and talked to the same woman. When I asked why I have not spoken to anyone that can fix my problem she stated well you never asked to speak with the owner. She eventually hung up on me after suggesting that I had previously damaged my gutters and wanted them to fix it. Its been a month and haven't gotten anything from them, not even a phone call. LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU NEED A PLUMBER!
