Edit: bumping up from four to five stars. They called me back within a day or two of my original review, and explained they had been backed up with some big jobs (reasonable, they're a small operation). They quoted me about 35% of what a competitor had quoted me for my remaining work, and did a fine and fast job of it. I'm not going anywhere else as long as long as Ken Sapp is an option.
Good work, poor communication.
I first used the for on their website to submit a request, and never heard back. Since I had a personal referral, I decided to reach out again and called.
Ken came out for a free consult, and we scheduled a water heater installation plus replacement of an inset floor drain with a removable piece. (I believe snaking the drain was included.)
He sent out a couple workers to do the job. They were done in a few hours, and the job seemed fine. I called and gave him my credit card info to complete the bill.
I also had some work on a kitchen sink for tenants. I let him know they'd be calling, but they weren't able to reach him. I tried calling back myself after, and never got a call back after leaving voicemail.
Apart from the communication issues, I'd readily recommend them.
