Recently purchased house with septic system. Have been having problems. Another well-known plumbing company inspected drain pipe from house to septic and determined it needed to be replaced (after 50+ years) and gave us a very high estimate. Chuck's came out and confirmed diagnosis. They gave a much better estimate. Having work done soon. In the meantime, sewage just started backing up into basement shower. At my request, Chuck's sent truck to pump out the septic tank before another company was coming to clear the drain. Justin and Colin pumped out the septic tank AND were able to clear the massive clog in the outlet from the house. Justin gave very thorough and clear explanation of the problem, the state of my septic system, etc. That was super helpful since we never had a septic system before. This company is honest, responsive and they do great work! The office staff is also very polite and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Just call 'em.

Horrible service. They came out, but didn't clear the drains properly. They came back out and then charge the full price AGAIN plus additional service fee! Just to finish the little bit of work they didn't do the first time. Then I speak to their office, they sais that's mistake, so I pay them, and now months later I receive aetter demanding additional payment.
Outstanding service in an emergency,
Unfortunately, I needed multiple services performed to get a septic system working. It needed located, drained, jetted and a riser installed.
Without going to far into the details, these guys saved the day. Every person I met or spoke with was courteous and professional, truly exceptional service.
When the first visit didn't completely cure the issue, the company sent another crew immediately, at no additional charge. Perfection isn't possible, but responsiveness, persistence and competent tradesmen who are also gentlemen were welcome.

CLIENT BEWARE! Crooks work here. They are attempting to double bill me even after I paid them for the work plus additional service fee! I am filing a lawsuit to make myself whole. Only use them if you have lawyers on the ready.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

I have been using this company for 2 years now and have been working with Jesse Glasco and his associates. They installed new piping from my home to my septic tank and put on a cap. I had a very large tree growing into my old piping. I had the tree removed but Jesse and his team still had to fight through its roots and another tree
that had grown on top of the piping. They worked hard and made sure the job was done correctly! This is only my second home with a septic system and they do a great job with explaining the process in detail. They offered suggestions and tips to maintain my septic in its best condition. They respond quickly!! I live over an hour from Grove City and it always feels like they respond like I am family! They look out for me! They are my septic company for life! Thank you so much!

Last week Tyler, from Chuck's Septic and Drain Cleaning, came in response to drain problems. We were impressed by his thoroughness in looking for the problem area. His communication skills were appreciated, he clearly explained what needed to be done and answered our questions. Very professional and respectful. And yes, our drain is now back in good working order. All this and the reasonable price means we will call this company again.
The 2 guys that came out today were very professional and determined to get our drains cleared! We've had 2 other companies out in the last few weeks without results. So thankful we called Chucks! Hopefully we'll never have that type of backup again, but at least we know who to call. Thanks guys!

UPDATE***
Jesse contacted me about my initial review and bent over backwards to make things right. He took the time to explain how my particular septic system works, how it's set up, and the Do's and Don't's. It was only 24-48hrs later that the Riser Install was complete. The Tech showed up and graciously apologized for leaving the motor unplugged. My System was serviced, repaired, and operating the way it's suppose to operate.
The work performed by Chuck's Septic is very impressive. Jesse explained the miscommunications at his office, and accepted responsibility for the mis-steps (Rare these days for anyone to accept responsibility for anything - But that helped me to learn about Jesse on a personal level. Definitely a guy that is easy to respect. His integrity out weigh's the mistakes that were made, and that goes a long way with me). I will gladly continue using Chuck's Septic just because of how Jesse handled my particular situation and the excellent job that was done.
I used the word Incompetent in my initial review. Jesse and his tech's are nowhere near Incompetent. Job Well Done!!

This experience is Staggering! I don't get this Company - at all!!
We closed in a new $330k property on May 10th, and scheduled a Service Call with Chuck's Septic Service for that day. John came out to do an Inspection and started his Doom And Gloom pitch right off the bat. His pitch was so damning that I stopped everything, contacted the realtor to inform him that it was time to call my lawyer!
John returned to replace the motor ($1200), and all the sudden his story changed. John sold us on the Service Contract (totally useless), and then he left. No follow up call for pumping the tank, no follow up on scheduling to get the tank pumped, and no scheduling to get a Riser installed.
It has been 45 Days... Finally we get a call to get the Tank pumped out. A different Service Tech shows up to inform us that HE CANNOT SERVICE THE TANK because Heather in the front office should not have sent him to perform a service before a Riser is installed. While the second tech was here, He Unplugged The Motor And DID NOT PLUG THE MOTOR BACK IN!! The aroma of RAW SEWAGE began over taking the house, and other parts of the property where we were hosting a gathering.
When I discovered the motor was unplugged, I lifted the lid and discovered the Service Tech knocked loose rock down into the opening of the Septic. I plugged the motor back in and the aroma of raw sewage filled the house!
This Company is the WORSE! No one can be this incompetent. Come on, these people do this service for a living, right? How can they be so incompetent?

wow just wow! Just had my septic pumped today and Jared was awesome! Very friendly, personable and professional. Charged me a fraction of what the last horrible company charged me. I will use Chuck's going forward! Thank you!
When I called the scheduling person was friendly, professional, and informative. The technician who came out, Justin, was professional and friendly and worked very hard digging up the cap to our septic tank. He did a great job!

Seth and Skylar cleared our drain and fixed a leaky faucet in the bathroom. They worked together seamlessly and cleaned up the area, better than they found it! Would highly recommend this company and will use them again if needed.
Jessie and his crew came out yesterday to my home to install a new system. Team was very professional, respectful, and had the upmost knowledge on what they were doing and actually showed me step by step on what was going to happen next. All crew members poured their time and sweat to get the job done as guaranteed. A+ work and team. I have never done business with a company that was so happy to do a job and without missing a beat did not get frustrated with the question we had and always had smile. I would recommend this company to everyone that have issues listed above. If I could have the same crew every time, I would request it as well. Thank you guy's so much for what was a long day, but a smooth process! My family thanks you as well!
I've hired this company twice for utility line issues in my house and would recommend them without reservation. They're professional, easy to work with, and do a great job.
Honestly I am beyond amazed on their level of service from Jesse and team. They have constantly gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions and I will always recommend them to anyone that is in need of their services. Amazing team and always willing to help and be there anytime any day. Definitely recommend these guys.

Just called this place to get a septic pumped. I wanted to get the sludge depth before they pumped (you should ALL do this) but I was told that the process of sticking a tube in the tank was a special service that only two employees were qualified to do, which was separate from the full system inspection that all the tanker drivers could do. They wanted to tack on an extra $75 for using a dipstick. Move on to another company, this one's crooked. That hostile practice means they're pumping when there's no need, and bilking you out of money you don't need to spend.
Edit after the response from the owner:
1) The person answering the phone got the owner, on the phone with her. This wasn't secondhand. The owner quoted the price, after hearing the words sludge judge as a $75 additional charge.
2) I do not have a single voicemail or email from any representative of your company. I have not received any letters. The reply here is the first contact since I went with service from a different company.
3) I wonder what other methods to assess the depth of solids *under a layer of heavily colored liquid* you would use that would be as effective as actually measuring it. Professional judgement in this case is profoundly skewed towards providing services that aren't necessary.
The responses from the owner go far to confirm my first experience with this company. This company wants you to feel very good about paying them for services you may not need.

These guys were fantastic. Had an issue with my main drain backing up. Our home warranty company had a different plumbing company to our house 3 times and they failed each time to fix the problem. Finally called Chuck's based on another review I found. They had someone out very quickly, their dispatch gave me a heads up of them being on the way as promised. These guys were there a whole 15 minutes before finding the true problem that the other plumber had missed on 3 separate occasions. Very reasonable rates too. Highly recommended.

Jesse is awesome. Very friendly and professional. I called because we thought we may have a blockage in the leachfield, we had just purchased a home and never had septic before. He came out and flagged where our leachfield was, which was great because we had no idea. We ended up not having a blockage but he did give us some recommendations on what we could do to help our situation and was even able to give me a rough estimate of how much it would cost if we decided to make the improvements. He even took the time to go over some septic do's and don't's.
Highly recommend! After having multiple issues with other plumbers Chucks Septic stepped in and fixed our problem! Fair prices and gave me a few tips to help in the process. Their whole team was friendly and professional. We will be using them, and refering them, for septic needs in the future

Superior work! Excellent employees! I needed septic repair. They responded right away. They let me know exactly what they were going to do before hand; then followed suite. Got everything done in one day just as said. They all were very professional and kind. They fixed the problem then made sure everything was working properly. Did exactly what they said they would do in the amount of time they said it would take. All with outstanding work. I will only refer Chuck's Septic services for any septic or drain issues to anyone. No other company will give forth the overall efforts they do!

I watched the septic pumping tech / driver (O somebody) perform this work from my second story office window. They didnt know i was watching. The man did a great job and was thorough in the way he cleaned out the tank inspected everything for proper functions. We will use and recommend this company again!
I had an issue with my aerator last year and I was looking for a different company than EC Babbert. (Horrible experience with them.) I came across Chuck's and gave them a call. A gentleman by the name of John came out and was very professional and had great customer service! I ended up signing up for their services to come out twice a year to make sure my septic system is good to go. I highly recommend them!
They came the same day. We had an issue that needed immediate attention. Could not get anybody to come. The guy (Jerrod) was very nice and knowledgeable about pumping out the system. Also the drain was plugged up. He also got it unplugged for me. Did a great job. The company is in Grove City. Gave us an eta. Of when they would be here.
Called about an issue in our leach field, Jesse came out the same day and was super duper helpful and took the time to explain the situation and give ideas for how to fix it. The consultation was free, so we ended up not needing to pay anything for his expert advice. Will definitely call these folks if anything happens in the future!

I had several companies out to take a look at our situation. I had “anywhere from 1,500 to 5,250. One of Chuck’s guys came out and found a less invasive solution that fixed the problem immediately. He was definitely more interested in finding a solution then selling us a completely new system that was unnecessary. We will definitely use them again going forward and would recommend them to any of our family and friends.

After two no shows from other companies, I found chucks septic. Not only were they one of the lowest priced, they showed up within 24 hours. The receptionist was very polite and had a clear understanding of my frustration. When they arrived they inspected the job and got to work promptly, even explaining how our system works (new house). They only left after making sure everything was in working order. Will use again in the future!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND Chuck's Septic. The company went above and beyond for us, and did their best to help us meet home sale deadlines. Our request for help was already a favor in and of itself, but Chuck's did us one better, and went beyond the favor and gifted us with more help than we ever expected. Thank you so much to Chuck's Septic, and to Rich and Jesse especially! Will definitely be giving them repeat business!

I called with an emergency on Friday at 1pm, not only did they answer on the first ring but the had someone out within an hour. They had to clean out the main drain out of our house that was blocked and backed up causing problems. This is the second time i have used them and am completely happy with the service. The two man crew that showed up were professional and put down protective blankets so my Trex deck wouldn't get scratched. Thanks again.
I would like to communicate my positive experience with Chuck’s Septic Tank, Sewer and Drain Cleaning, Inc. After having water backed up in my basement several times and calling numerous other plumbers, no one could seem to locate the problem. The City of Columbus came out twice, as well, but they could not find anything wrong. Every time we had substantial rains, the water would back up into my basement.
Finally, I called Chuck’s Septic Tank, Sewer and Drain Cleaning, Inc., and they found the problem right away. They found the lines were never connected at the street, which was causing the water to back up into my basement.
I can’t say enough good things about this company. They are very knowledgeable, efficient and fair. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Thanksgiving eve and the service was excellent! Justin was very informative and stayed until he was satisfied with the flow from the house. Will use them again!
Michael did a fantastic job. Showed up on time, diagnosed the real cause of the sewer problem, provided a video, explained everything clearly, saved us a lot of money avoiding unnecessary repairs that were quoted by others. This company is great. Michael you rock!
I'm a property manager so I tend to have bigger jobs than the average person. Traditional plumbers can't do the large jobs. But chuck's can. They can do all the biggest jobs and do it for a fair price as well.
Two very nice guys showed up, they made sure that all of the affected outside drain lines ran clean and to my satisfaction before they were done. Very proficient and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

I have used Chucks several times over the years, both at my house and in the school district I work for. They have always been professional in their appearance, conduct and performance. The one time called another company, they got the water moving from the drain, went out 100 ft., told me I should run a camera down for more money. Then told me I needed to replace my drain line because of what the camera saw. As we were kicking the idea around THE NEXT DAY, water backed up. This time I called Chucks. They came out and pulled a HUGE root out of the drain at 80 feet. ALWAYS call Chucks.
To be short. I have been trying to figure out a sewer smell issue for over a year and have had countless plumbers and contractors out to my property with no luck. John from Chuck's came out and figured it out immediately and fixed the issue. He was professional, knowledgeable, and worked with a sense of urgency. I cannont say thank you enough!

I hope you NEVER have an issue like we did the past few weeks. If you do, your first call should be to Chuck’s. 4 inches of standing water in the basement. Water level extinguishing the pilot light on the water heater. More rain and snow on the way.
We had 2 separate companies come out to snake the drain at our rental. The first guy was a small operator and was surprised when he couldn’t fix the drain issue. He was a solid guy, who I’d call again for small drain issues. This was a bigger issue and he was humble about what he could and couldn’t do.
The 2nd company is a large and local outfit that we've used before with success. Two days and multiple methods including the snake, jetter, and camera to see what the issue it. Then, they get their jetter stuck. They were 82-feet from the house, which was almost to the main sewer.
Multiple calls to the city. We get the drawings from the city and discover that the main sewer is 17-feet underground. Ok, now what? Company #2 now informs me that IF the issue is at 17-feet, the scope is too large for them. Shouldn't they know where the issue is? Calling other contractors to get estimates on what it’s going to cost to excavate the alley and fix the issue. I’m stressed. It’s going to cost HOW MUCH $$?!?! And, only a few outfits can successfully do this work. We’re going to need permits- $$$. There’s even more drama to this story but I’ll refrain from smearing company #2. Let’s just say, we’ve already spent $950, for 2 days’ worth of nothing and the problem isn’t fixed. Thankfully, our tenant was very patient and understanding.
So, we choose to have Chuck’s provide an estimate to pull a permit and excavate the alley. Prior to preparing the estimate, they schedule an on-site visit in order to determine the depth of the problem. And guess what. Chuck’s sends Cecil & Gerry to assess. These were the same 2 guys that company #2 called to get their jetter unstuck. I kind of knew then that these good ole boys had a lot more experience and I regret not calling them first. Unfortunately, company #2 wouldn’t let the “other” company try to snake the drain last week when they were on-site.
And, here I am writing this review for Chuck’s Septic and praising the experience of Cecil and Gerry. In less than 2 hours, they had the drain unclogged, had their camera all the way into the main sewer and my problem was…dare I say it… FIXED?! No excavation necessary. I’m overjoyed.
We learned a lot through this experience. 1. If the plumber uses a camera- request that they record it!! You’re paying for it, you should own this data 2. The homeowner is responsible for the sewer all the way to the tap-in point, even if the clog is in the alley.

We can’t not say enough good things about this company price good, job Done on time and very professional didn’t try to sell us service we didn’t need ! everyone on the crew was very nice to us and very professional, . supervisor make sure the job was done right!, I would use them again in a heartbeat do not be afraid to hire them they will get the job done right for you at a fair price !
The long and short is I wholeheartedly recommend Chuck's for anything drain or septic system related.
We had an emergency and Chuck's showed up on short notice. They were quick, reasonable, and professional.
We had a unique septic tank problem and they way under bid to fix the problem. The owner would not let us pay more. He did the work for the quoted price. Knowledgeable and friendly. We won't use anyone else.
I utilized two of their services last week. Septic tank cleaning and downspouts/ drain cleaning. Both crews were professional and provided services quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Ive called 4 times, and spoken to the same lady 4 times. She has taken my information to give to the inspector to call me to schedule an inspection and give us a status report on where to go from this point. Ive never received a call back from any of my 4 phone calls. Ive wasted 30 days now (I did leave significant time due to the holidays) of my time now had I contacted a different company first. Wouldnt waste my time trying them.
Good people , great prices, and above all arrived when they said! I called other companies, and was put on a recording. Chucks has an emergency days, we were delighted!
The technician was on time, and did a perfect job. When he left, everything was in place.
He was also polite and respectful while speaking with my wife.
Thanks for the quick job response. Nick did a great job and was early too. Chucks is the only one to call when you have sewer/drain issues.
I just wanted to say y’all did a wonderful job with my drains and septic. Everyone who came out was very professional. Will definitely be using this company again!!
Jarrod came out to pump for us. The first thing he did was introduce himself with a smile! He was very approachable and professional! Gave me tips on how to handle some things should something come up! Thank you Jarrod!
Would highly recommend, service tech was very knowledgeable and explained to me how the system worked and answered all my many questions. Everyone was extremely nice, from the scheduler, to dispaicher and the driver.
