I had a new water heater installed back in June. I recently received a home inspection and was flagged with 3 violations concerning the water heater.

- not properly insulated (in the garage)
- no emergency drip pipeline
- Temperature and Pressure valve incorrectly installed

Inspector quoted, “any licensed plumber should do that”. Called to have addressed this - yet to get an answer after several days. I had to have Morris-Jenkins get it up to code.

I have a home warranty that uses this plumber. Had an appointment on 12/20 (11-3PM) to which they did not show. We didn’t receive a phone cal or text indicating they wouldn’t show. The next day we get an email from the home warranty company indicating we (not the plumber) cancelled the appointment and the claim would be closed. I suspect they mismanaged their time and to stay in “good standing” with the warranty company, they pointed the finger at us thinking we’d disregard/forget. Leaving this review for others to see and left the same feedback with warranty company.

Horrible experience. The owner was horribly rude, offensive, used racial slurs, overshared things that were absolutely not my business and tried to require cash only - obviously to subvert Uncle Sam or for some other shady purpose. Disgusting individual.

When you have a home warranty you don’t have a choice of what company you use. If you have a choice DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I had a leak in my shower, dripping in my crawlspace so I called and Advanced Plumbing was assigned to my claim. I originally had an appointment on Monday from 11:00 to 3:00. No showed so I called twice and eventually spoke with Scott. He said there had been a medical emergency so we rescheduled for Friday morning at 8:30. At 8:45 I called to make sure they were coming. Scott was very rude… even threatened to not show up. Finally he agreed to come. When he arrived he continued to be rude and stated he would not preform the work unless he was paid up front. He threatened again to leave without doing the assigned job. I paid because he would not even wouldn’t even look at the problem without payment. After all I have waited 4 days patiently. He is the rudest person I think I have ever met!!! I have never been treated this way by anyone else who I hired to do a repair for me. I can’t believe how he treats his clients. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Scott is ANGRY and DANGEROUS MAN!!!! Please do not let him come to your home especially if you are a single female or a senior citizen. I was SCARED of him!! I have filed several complaints about this company with Home Warranty, BBB and also police. I’m sure nothing will come of this… it’s recorded. Let’s just hope he is not allowed to treat anyone else like he treated me. BEWARE !!!!

Assigned the Company through CHW and were prompt in their first response. After the Technician left because he timed out (not a contractural term), and never scheduled a return. CHW was in contact and said they were waiting on a part to complete cleaning the drain out. Another call to the Plumber and I was told I ain't coming back. Now 3 days without an operational kitchen or laundry. The Owner was not very helpful and at times very rude and unprofessional. Would not let CHW assign them to your project if they try. Follow-up, hired another plumber who corrected the problem in under 30 minutes with a 50' snake which this business insisted did not exist.

I contacted my home warranty company regarding a leak I had from a pipe coming from my water heater. Advanced Plumbing Service was called out to complete the repair of the pipe. When APS did come out the were cordial and spent time talking with me while repairing the pipe. When they completed the repair we turned the hot water heater back on and they left after a minute or two of making sure it ran. Later that evening, about 4 or 5 hours after the original repair, I went to check on the repair and noticed the pipe was still leaking from the same area. I called APS and left a message stating that the leak was still occurring and they needed to come back. They didn't return my call so I called them again in the morning and left another voicemail. They didn't return that call so I called again and they finally picked up. As we were scheduling when they would be back to fix the repair that was not originally fixed, I was given attitude while trying to figure out the best time I could get out of work, unexpectedly, to meet them so they can fix the leak. When they arrived at the house they looked at the leak for about a minute and said it was a new leak and they would need to call the warranty company. After about 10 minutes they came back and told me that they couldn't complete the repair because the warranty company wouldn't pay them for a new job and told them it was a recall. The gentleman said to me I'm a for profit company, so I wont do a job for free. When I asked what I should do since I don't have hot water he said I need to call and put another claim in and they will reschedule to come back and fix it. When I called my home warranty company and told them the issue they said this should be a recall and the repair should be made. Unfortunately I still do not have any hot water and have to wait for a new company to come out and make the repair all because the original repair was not made.

I do not recommend and if they are called to your house for a repair I would cancel and ask for a different company.

Had a water heater that flooded my garage. Contacted my warranty company and after two days and no hot water, I disconnected the water heater, because I was about to replace the thing myself. Was eventually assigned Advanced. When arrived I explained that I was about to replace the water heater. Even after telling him that the water heater was leaking from the inside, he still sent the pictures of the disconnected water heater, which screwed me on getting my water heater replaced. After those pictures were sent, my warranty company then denied my claim. I am now having to pay out-of-pocket to replace my water heater. I even tried to continue doing business with Advanced and he basically said he was not interested and hung up on me. I ended up going with Lowe’s which was much cheaper than anyone else and sent a plumbing company that had a higher rating than Advanced.

Attempted to use this company to fix the leak under my sink as they are used by my home warranty service. Blatantly lying to a customer and my home warranty company is evidently a normal thing with these people, as they did nothing to fix my problem then told me I would have to pay for the repairs after getting approval from my warranty company to do the repairs. The manager changed his story and tried to make it seem like I was the one who had a problem after calling them out for their lying. Seems like they got approval for extra payment by my warranty company and then tried to say I had to pay as well. Not trustworthy as they lied and attempted to have me pay on top of what Choice warranty approved. Terrible customer service...

We have a warranty contract with Choice Home Warranty. We had an issue with our hot water heater about two weeks ago. Choice sent a plumber from their list to repair this issue. Discount plumbing. The service man came and only restarted our hot water heater. He did no diagonistics to see what caused the issue. Needless to say within a day or two we had no hot water again. After serveral calls and a promised appointment the they never met and several calls from us and calls from Choice they ( Choice) reassigned our case to Advanced Plumbing. We received a call and appointment right away. A nice professional servicemancame (Kelly) a day eariler than scheduled might I add. He did all tests decided we needed new thermostats. He changed both the lower and upper theromstats and made sure all was working well. We've had no issues since. We thank Choice for sending a competent professional company Advancef Plumbing to make our repair after experiencing a most frustrating issue with Discount Plumbing. . We highly recommend Advanced Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. You will not be disappointed.

My home warranty CHOICE sent this company out. Both technicians that came out were courteous and professional. Robbie came on the initial visit. Kelly came on the next visit to actually complete the job. Kelly was informative and friendly. He did an excellent job completing the task as well as his clean up afterwards.

Terrible customer service!! Spoke to me like I was incompetent. Told me to get my warranty contract book out and read it because I didn’t know what I was talking about. So I did, when I started proving he actually needed to repair my leak(not just diagnose it) per my contract with CHW, he became even more rude. I called my home warranty and they told me I can fire him because he is supposed to repair thbe leak, not just diagnose it. He told me if I wanted him to check my pipes in the ceiling, it would cost me $75 on top of the agreed upon rate with choice home warranty. Terrible, terrible, company.

I recently contacted Advanced Plumbing Services to replace my water heater, and I was not only satisfied with the extremely fair pricing, but with the excellent customer service and how they went out of their way to work with my schedule and respected my home. APS was referred to me through a friend and I am extremely happy with the work they did and I look forward to recommending them to friends and family.

They called this morning to schedule a more specific time and were able to come out much earler than initially scheduled! Kelly was professional but personal. He immediately suggested replacing the garbage disposal without hesitation and admitted to having to fix the work of other less professional companies when asked. I was very pleased with him and the overall experience from the company. Hopefully it won't break in two weeks like the last one....from a different plumbing company! Thank you for fixing the problem created by another!

Great plumbing company. Very satisfied with the service and professionalism. They troubleshoot and solve problems others couldn't find. I am happy with the recommended change of electric water heater to my new more efficient gas one. Would recommend them for any plumbing issues!

I would give 0 rating but I don't see that option...I wouldn't recommend this company AT ALL... these guys are unprofessional and un-ethical. I had to go through this company as I have home warranty, They came to home didn't do any diagnostics, but changed me 75$ and gave a wrong estimation and that declined the Home warranty and now I don't have any options. I don't recommend this company at all.

They came, took my toilet apart, diagnosed the problem, and left. I called to have the repairs made and was told they'll call me back. When I didn't hear from them, I called and left a message. I never got a return call. They left the job and left my toilet undone. The previous posts are correct.

Will always recommend! Great service, fast & efficient. My kitchen sink was clogged for a few hours and I contacted advanced plumbing, they ran a snake down the drain, and it's better than new. Extremely happy with this company & service!
