Business placed a new water line from the water meter to the inside of the garage. Albert came out and the business it’s self was very reliable and fast at the job and extremely nice. I highly recommend to anyone needing any plumbing services done in their home or business

We had our plumbing starting to back up on Friday. Called our home warranty program and the first company they assigned couldn't come out until Monday. Call them back and they reassigned us to Second Opinion Plumbing. They came out within 2 hours of being assigned and had the problem taken care of within an hour. They were very professional and did a great job of clean up when they were done snaking the trap. Would highly recommended.

They get a second star because the staff was all friendly. 1 star for the service rendered. I paid $100 for a technician to say he wouldn’t do anything for a plugged toilet that a cleaning lady fixed and unclogged for $60. Glad that I didn’t give them more money than that.

Edit: you’re correct, I could have called you out again and paid even more. Thankfully the cleaner fixed it, and obviously it was a job I could have handled myself had I not been out of town.

They came to replace my water heater and garbage disposal. Joe arrived within their arrival time slot. He was courteous, kind, and very neat which is important to me. Joe,did an excellent job on both itens. Definitely would recommend them!

I had several small plumbing issues with my rental that needed to be fixed. They called me back pretty quickly and scheduling was convenient. Kevin, the plumber, fixed the issues very quickly and efficiently and he was one of the most courteous people I have met in a while! It's always nice to feel like you have trustworthy professionals in your home.

What can I say they did a really GREAT JOB. When the plumber came in and diagnosis my water heater, I never realize i had water damage. I thank Drew for finding that. I recently had a leak that was causing my water bill to be really high. I called a friend who recommended Second Opinion. I made a call and the customer service was great. I had a plumber show up on the same day and he was able to diagnose the problem in minutes. He was able to fix the problem without having to break any concrete in my slab. He cleaned up after himself and scheduled to have a drywall expert repair the small hole he had to make. All in all, im very impressed and satisfied with the work performed from start to finish.

Sean (plumber) installed our tankless water heater last June 7,2020 and has to come back to finish the project for inspection. However, after several attempt to contact him, the technician kept rescheduling to fix the said project and it's June 20th already!!
This is unacceptable and very unprofessional!! Is this how you guys do business?!!

I'm not going to go into the whole story but the basic premise is that my home warranty company recommended a different company (Ideal Services...HORRIBLE COMPANY) and they dropped the ball massively. Second Opinion Plumbing stepped in as their replacement from the warranty company. They almost got a one-star rating themselves. Bare with me, it's worth the read...

Their first guy came out two different occasions and never could get the toilet fixed. The second time he was out there he said he had to go buy a part and he would be back in an hour or two. After not showing back up for 7 hours I called and found out that not only did he not show back up to my house but he actually never showed up for work ever again. To make matters worse he had taken all of the parts for my toilet and apparently wasn't returning calls from the company either.

When a second gentleman named Eric came out after that debacle. I thought we were in a similar situation to the first company that was sent out. He came in and told me that they were not able to reach the other guy and get the parts for the toilet but then he realized he was going to have to order new parts. I was actually really angry about this at the time because this would make it a total of five visits for this one company to fix my toilet. But, Eric promised he would get the parts ordered and promised me he would call me back in a couple of days and he kept his promise. Not only that but he scheduled it for the very next day. He came out and even though the toilet gave him an absolute hell of a time, he got it fixed and working perfectly.

If you need a plumber, call Second Opinion. If your home warranty company tries to send Ideal Services to your house, tell them you don't want Ideal Services. Term them you only want Second Opinion Plumbing. Most warranty companies use them, but unfortunately they're not the first choice. They almost always go with Ideal Services before any other company. If you don't have a home warranty, make them your first call...you'll be glad you did. These guys are great and believe me when I tell you that if I ever need Plumbing again they will be the first call I make.

Not only did he solve all our plumbing problems, he also gave us some tips to keep the kitchen sink from backing up. Thank you so much and I will always call you first now!

Wonderful service! Lupe in the office was very professional, and rescheduled my appointment when I had an emergency at the last minute. David and Xavier diagnosed the problem quickly, and were done in 30 minutes. They were very professional and pleasant. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I called a few places for my plumbing emergency but ended up choosing second opinion plumbing because right from the 1st phone call their professionalism was 10 out of 10. Valerie made me feel at ease and assured me they would be able to help me in a timely manner. The price was completely fair and well worth the service received. Warranty company dispatched this company for a leaking toilet. Schedule was from 12-3 Saturday. Plumber called at 2 saying he will be here in 30-45 minutes .An hour later I call the plumber back asking for an update. No answer .Went to voicemail. 1 1/2 hours later I called the office. They said he is running late and won't be here until between 3-6. I said that is not acceptable and asked for another plumber. Lady on the phone got back on a said their lead in call plumber could he here between 5-8. What kind of BS is this? I called home warranty company and made a complaint. They put this vendor on my DO NOT USE LIST and dispatched a different vendor. Spoke with that vendor immediately and got the perform fixed. Avoid 2nd Opinion Plumbing and get a real second opinion from a more reliable company...

Technician came to my home.Claimed he couldn't help.blah blah blah.He then left a bathroom floor full of water and debris. I turned water back on toilet flooding the room with water as he did not reconnect water line to toilet.The most ameituer job I've ever seen.Hired another plumber to connect water.

Google has good reviews for this company but I wished I had reviewed Yelp first. My experience is no different than several others on Yelp. This needs to stop. I don't know which company is the worst. 2nd Opinion Plumbing or Choice Warranty but it feels like they are working together to take consumers money and both profit from it. I have dealt with Choice Warranty on plumbing issues twice and they referred 2nd Opinion Plumbing to me both times. I could kick myself for not learning the first time but wanted to give them a second chance. Both times they were happy to take my check of $45 to come out to review the problem just to find out days later and plenty of calls to both that the claim isn't covered. The first time I had them out because my water heater would not stay lit. They came out lit it again (which I could have done myself) only for them to tell me it wasn't broke and tried to sell me a new water heater for over $900. As soon as they left the pilot went out. I ended up having to replace my water heater at my own expense. Why have a home warranty then? Second time I had corroded plumbing that was dripping underneath my sink. They were quick to come to my house to diagnose and take pictures and my money only to wait 3 days and find out the claim was denied because the problem was caused by my faucets which aren't covered. Please, please do not use either company or you will be sorry and taken advantage of just like me and the others that took the time to write and complain. I am now in the process of trying to get the remainder of my money back from Choice Warranty which I can almost guarantee will not be easy.

09-01-17, Original post was given 1 Star, I had a faucet that wore out due to normal wear and tear. Unfortunately for me this was the company that was sent to me. I was given a window of 9-12...the technician Jonathan arrived at 2:00. Seemed like a nice guy. Examined the faucet and said that the reason the plastic part broke was because of the hard water in the house. No big deal....we will get it fixed. Then he turns around and writes that a child broken the handle it so the warranty company will not fix it. Talked the the manager Henry who said that there was nothing he could do and then Proceeded to HANG UP on me. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! Bad business all the way around!!!!!

UPDATE 09/22/17- The company finally came back out to finish the job (warranty company made the process longer), I asked for a different tech and I was really LUCKY that I got Drew!!! Drew was very courteous, knowledgeable and super funny. He fixed the problem and had the shower working perfectly in record time the handle was not broken the other tech clearly just didn't care. I was given a window of 1:00 -4:00 expecting not to hear from them until 4:00. And Drew was here at 1:15. He is truly the shining star in this organization. If you have to deal with them, make sure you ask for DREW!!!!!!!

After 6 days of no hot water and 3 separate companies, Albert from Second Opinion Plumbing really came through for us! He figured out what we needed, completed the job the same day, empathized with our situation and was amazing working with our warranty company. Valerie in the office was the absolute best as well! Amazing service!!! Even though he was booked he still made time to come out within an hour and a half of me calling him. He fixed the issue and then the next day I was having another issue and rather than come back out and charge me another service call, he was able to help me trouble shoot it over the phone. Albert did a great job of installing a new kitchen sink faucet and fixing a small leak under the sink. He showed up on time, worked quickly, and did not leave until he made sure everything was right. He was also very professional and had a nice attitude. I have been trying to find a good plumbing company with reasonable prices and trustworthy plumbers. This company is the one.

Called the rental agency they called home warranty and then BAM in about 38 mins Albert was here. As soon as he showed up he knew the water heater needed replaced and wasted no time it took about 1.5 hrs in total from first greeting to new water heater installed. We’ve had the longest bathroom repair ever (thank you insurance company) but the last piece was reinstalling the toilet. Second opinion plumbing was able to come in the same day, right in the window of time they quoted. Albert was super professional, got right to work and finally our bathroom is fixed!! A great name for this company, I had a broken water heater and only had it for a year and was told it needed to be replaced. Called this company and Albert was on time and professional and knowledgeable. He identified the issue and called the company for me and got the parts sent to me for free. Albert installed the parts and had me back up in very reasonable time. Thanks again Albert and Second Opinion plumbing my 14yr daughter thanks you all also. :)

Installed a water heater in my mother's house. He negotiated the price down. He was VERY polite quick and answered all my questions about tankless water heaters. No mishaps during the process. Very efficient. I have no idea where these other reviewers complaints are coming from. We will use them again if needed.

Well it's about time there is a real honest plumber in this town....I'm glad I called second opinion plumbing .I had a toilet problem and the other plumbing company wanted to charge 395.00 to replace my toilet...thank you Robert for fixing my toilet and saving me 245.00 ...he knew what he was doing had it fixed up in no time ...I will always call second opinion plumbing and ask for Robert....thank you Robert and second opinion plumbing...

Watch out they charged me $150 snaking job for 15 minutes,and then tried to scam me more phoney unnecessary procedures 4 extra $300.

Our bathroom toilet, sink and shower all were clogged, with standing water in the shower. Our primary bathroom was unusable. My regular plumber did not think this was an emergency and therefore could not schedule repairs for 2 days.

Second Opinion Plumbing came a few hours later. They called when they were en route and arrived at schedule time. Friendly and professional. Plumber explained everything he was doing step by step. He even cleaned up after he finished 😀. Clogs were cleared and I have not had any more issues.

I will use them again and will recommend to my neighbors.

I highly recommend you give them a call if you need any plumbing repairs. They were able to diagnose a leak and Albert was very open about my options at that point. Hopefully won't need to, but I'll use them again if I have more plumbing issues.

This company is NOT professional. I won’t recommend them to anybody. Yesterday, I had a 4 pm appt for somebody to come over and do an assessment on replacing an old water heater. Nobody showed up at the appointed time. No calls, nothing. I waited for almost an hour. Stay away from Second Opinion Plumbing. They just lost my business, also my family and friends.

I had a problem with my toilet and my home warranty insurance had sent a company out to check it out, they told me my pipes was sagging and they needed to go through the foundation and my price would be $3700.00, so I got a second opinion from second opinion plumbing and they gave me the best news ever, that wasn't the problem at all and it took only a few minutes for them to find and fix the problem. We had issues with the water pressure in the house since we moved in. Albert, the Field Manager, was able to fix the pressure regulator valve and eliminate pressure withholding water everything we flush or take a shower. Second Opinion Plumbing was fantastic!! They took care of my plumbing issue promptly and didnt cut any corners. When my tank water heater finally gave out, I wanted to go with a tankless system. After calling the big box store for quotes, It appeared that it was too cost prohibited. I saw an ad in the LV GOLD magazine from Second Opinion Plumbing LLC for a tankless water heater deal I found reasonable. Robert was my technician. I only have positive reviews of Robert. His professionalism and follow through of the job is beyond impressive. I strongly recommend Second Opinion Plumbing because of Robert.

Very happy with there service, they came out to give me a second opinion. I had a problem with my shower I had two other companies come in to my home for the problem and could not fix it they had given me wrong information on the problem giving me bits of ridiculous amounts to fix the problem. That's when second opinion came in the 3rd company in my home they came in and within min they had fix the problem.

Very rude people. Cut into a power line killing all power to our living room and made a big mess. When asked if he will clean his mess before he leaves, he answered that he is not going to. When asked what happens to the cut power line, he answered it is safe under the leaking pipe that they didn't fix. After several attempts to contact that company and got hung up on, the manager called back and argued with me. He ended the call with f*** You. We contacted them this morning to speak to the owner, we were told that he doesn't normally come in but she will leave him a note. And their solution to the problem is to give our case to a different company.

Colton was extremely professional and we are hoping he will receive an achievement award. Thank you for your service.

Sean came to fix the leak in our pipes as well as the water heater. He spent the most part of the day out in the heat and still kept a smile on his face. He would joke with us while finishing his work. Thank you for the hot water!:)

They are true to their word. If they say that they are going to do something, they come through with flying colors. All work done top level of expectations.

Second Opinion Plumbing was fantastic! I had a sewage line that was very old, collapse at one of my rentals. After a run around with another not to be named large company, I contacted SOP and it was done the next day. They dug a trench maybe 30 feet long and 4 feet deep, replaced the line all faster and even cheaper than the competitors. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

We called Second Opinion Plumbing to help us replace a main line for our rental property that kept getting backed up and couldn’t be happier with our decision. Albert showed up earlier than we expected to make sure he had everything needed and set up. We were removing a tree that we thought was causing the issue with the main line. He explained what he believed was the issue and jumped right in to confirm where the problem was by using the camera and locator. Our issue was a belly in the main line. He saw we were struggling with removing a tree trunk and went above and beyond by helping us remove it. Shortly after the tree was removed he was digging with his excavator and quickly found the main. Prior to calling Second Opinion Plumbing we considered doing the digging ourselves but we would’ve spent all day digging that much with our shovels and picks. The main sewer line dropped to below 5.5’ at the tie-in connection to the street. Albert was very professional and friendly throughout. We had an extremely horrible clog beginning on Saturday. Armando and an additional technician were dispatched to our home. Armando attempted to clear the clog for only 5-7 mins in one area. We suggested to him to check for the drain in our front yard (all homes built after 2000 have drains) and he did, but because it did not jump right out at him and he had to actually work to find it he never did. He did not clear the clog and recommended to use a camera (attempted to get an additional $250) to see versus exhausting other methods. Needless to say, he exacerbated the problem forcing us to seek help from another company. The other company came out and their technician diagnosed the issue in less than 15 mins. He was extremely skilled and worked until the issue was resolved.

Quick, dependable, and trustworthy!!! I will definitely call them again if I have any future plumbing problems. I had a huge waterline leak. The owner came out to the house and ensured the water was shut off at the meter, scheduled his team to start digging the next morning, fixed the issue, and ensured the area was cleaned up prior to leaving the job site. Overall cost was less than his rough estimate. I definitely recommend this company for any plumbing issues you may have.

I called about a clogged toilet and spoke with Valerie, she was amazingly helpful, informative, respectful, and she has a great sense of humor. As I was stressing about a toy my daughter flushed, having a huge lack of knowledge when it comes to anything about plumbing, Valerie reassured me they could take care of it. They were great with their pricing. If I have any plumbing issues again I would go through Second Opinion.

I was very impressed with my experience. Starting with the office staff. I was prepared to schedule an appointment later in the week but she offered same day service! Wow! The technicians promptly arrived. Albert walks into my home and immediately hands me his business card! I loved that. That showed me that he is taking responsibility for the service. He then looked under my sink, saw that there was a bucket under there and he went to his truck and came back with a replacement! The entire service call was done in about 10 minutes or less. Wow! The previous company, 5 star home services, did nothing and left me with a broken garbage disposal. Thank you Albert and Robert for saving the day! I appreciate your professionalism and courteousness.

This company doesn't deserve one star! They are terrible!! My warranty company called this second rate company to service a leaking refrigerator shut off valve.
1. They told the warranty company that the valve did not fail due to noremal wear and tear. They also told the warranty company that it showed signs of damage. Not true! I have the valve and the opinion of another plumbing company that states the valve (which is 28 years old) is simply faulty. They succeeded in convincing the warranty company no tto do the repair. This is a tactic used by service providers to get you to pay a higher price out of your pocket. Luckily I contested this and got a real second opinon who the warranty company listened to and will be replacing the valve.
2. When they went to shut the water off to the house to diagnose the valve they broke the valve that shuts the water off to the house. I have nad no water in the house for 10 days! I have had to run hoses from my neighbor just to keep my grass alive. Their senior technician Jonathan was supposed to look at the broken valve. When he called me to tell me he was on the way, he said it would matter because they weren't responsible. He wouldn't even come out and look at the problem because they insist they didn't touch the valve. I was on the phone with the plumber when he was closing the valve!!!! The house is vacant and there has been no other plumbers on site until today. Second Opinion could've broke the valve to try to drum up business. I will never know exactly what they did, but I will take the broken valve as evidence. I will see these guys in court. Unethical, no sense of responsibilty or customer service. There are plenty of plumbers in Las Vegas. Do yourself a favor and hire someone professional, not these crooked bums!

Albert was assigned to me from my home warranty company. He came in on time, showed up with a mask on , figured out the problem and replaced under sink pipes. And he took care of another issue I had at no extra charge. He is going to be my go to plumber and will request him through my home warranty for future plumbing issues.
Definitely recommend him.
