The service was excellent!!!!

The service was absolutely fantastic from placing a call till the end of the repair.
The AC stopped working on a Saturday evening. Despite calling around 9pm on a Saturday, the call was promptly answered by a person, not a machine, all questions were answered, and emergency appointment for the next day (Sunday, btw) was set up to fit my schedule.
TJ was great. He was very polite, punctual, knowledgeable, professional, and also wore a mask and shoe covers as well, which is greatly appreciated in times of COVID. Getting a text with the technician photo and brief info was also a nice touch.
I would absolutely use this company again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Solace Heating and Air was very responsive and come out to diagnose my AC issues within hours of calling them. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained in detail the different possible causes of the problem and how to test for each one. In the end it was a simple fix and we had cold air again. I would highly recommend Solace Heating and Air.

The young man that came to service my heating and furnace was very very nice you could ask for a better young man was very knowledgeable and installed a thermostat which I needed for many years and he was a veteran it was very nice talking to him he answered all my questions if all of your technicians are as nice as he is you have good people working for you.

This company is the most professional company I have ever encountered when it comes to their business. My warranty was giving me the run around trying to send a contractor to my house to look at a broken furnace in the winter, I called Solace Heating and Air and they were there that evening. They have a personal touch when they work with you that you just cannot get from any other company. Their install team worked diligently, quickly, and effectively to install a new furnace, evaporation coil and condenser coil and did it without me knowing they were ever there. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any HVAC need. I would rate them a 10/10 if I could. This is not a paid review, this is solely my opinion.

Chris Lee came a put a new igniter in the same day I called. Later that day for some reason it went out again. So the next day in the ice Chris came back and installed another igniter.

I called in the morning to see when I could get a technician to come out to check my A/C. They sent someone out late that afternoon! This is a very honest company!! Please stay away from Conway and Choates!!!!!!
Conway tried to first sell me a system for 11.000 (thousand)!!!!. Then they tried to sell me just the heater for 4.500 (thousand)!!!!. The minimum to fix came down to 2557.00. To fix. Conway lied about the parts that were bad and lied about the prices for the parts.
Choates is going to over fee right from the start!! Their fee was 120.00 to drive out and 98.00 to look at it. Everyone else was 89 dollars. So don't trust Choats.
Solace came right away. Fixed the problem. The problem was the gas valve. I had Solace fix it and bought their maintenance plan for two furnaces! It cost only 800 dollars!! The Solace tech even showed me with his camera the inside of the furnace. It is in great condition. Solace is an honest company!! I highly recommend them.

My mother in law’s A/C went out about a week ago on a blazing hot Saturday, her usual hvac company would not get back to her so I called TJ at Solace and he got to her before the end of the day to get her system running again like it was brand new. TJ was very knowledgeable and discovered there was a wiring issue and a few other things that needed to be done to have the system running like new, he and another technician named Aaron got the job done and had my mother in law as happy as a kid on Christmas! I have since recommended them to several other family members and refuse to use anyone else from now on.

I used these guys after seeing a referral on Germantown, TN bulletin board. They were on time, professional, and very thorough in their workmanship. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

AJ came to help fix my AC that was working but did not have cool air coming out. They were able to get to me fast when called in the morning and service fee was average for industry and he really took time to make sure to do the job is right - my complex is complicated being condo with unmarked AC units so that I’m sure was a nightmare for him to figure out which one was mine and he didn’t complain or have any issues- positive the entire time and I appreciate him being honest about what think issues are and was able to get it repaired same day! They offer a 1 year warranty on service which is nice and also they are awesome customer service that since I live in a condo gated need them to call/text to direct them where to park abs AJ called to let me know 20 min out and called when arrived. The company also sent me a text message that had AJs picture, details of my appointment and some fun humanizing details of AJ himself so as a woman, puts at ease who is coming into your home and was a touch I really appreciated from a customer experience standpoint. I’d recommend this company to anyone and made me feel good I didn’t have to buy a whole new unit like my other neighbors had to do abs grateful to have it repaired abs not out of pocket with so much money for a new one. AJ had experience that shows and should deserve a reward for his great customer service and helping to troubleshoot in stressful situations for customers.

Aaron was a very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and the reasons why. His bid was much more precise and included many things the other companies didn't. I am still getting one more quote but so far Solace is the best yet in price as well as professionalism.

Manager sent tech out within an hour of calling. Tech Jervarious worked very hard in near 100° heat to repair a nearly 16 yr old unit. The fan was broken and had damaged the motor. But we still had sporadic cooling issues. Jervarious even came back after hours to recheck everything. We finally decided to go with a new unit as a/c was so old as more repairs were not worth it on such an old unit.He gave us chance to replace before repairs but we were just too hopeful the old lady still had life. So we are getting new ac/heat unit and got maintenance contract with discounts on purchase and installation. Company is even giving us a loaner room a/c for kitchen/den area until unit can arrive. We already have one room a/c for bedroom so us and pets can remain in home until new system arrives.

Thanks to Tj and Tyler our heat is back going good as new. We called them out after hours and both guys were there in no time to diagnose the issue. They had everything fixed and back going in no time. Highly recommend these guys and this company! They are both very professional and gave us an outstanding service. Our family appreciates them and will definitely be calling them if we are to have any more issues!

I would have to say this company did great from start to finish. Customer service was helpful setting up my appointment and Aaron S. was my service tech who diagnosed the problem and knew exactly what to do (I had a small refrigerant leak). All high remarks for me.

At the time our unit went out, the part needed was not available and had to be ordered. Solace provided a portable unit to cool our home as we were facing over 100 degree temps. They kept us updated on every step leading to our repair and had great communication. Zack B. Was our technician. He was prompt, friendly, and professional!

My experience with this company was absolutely excellent. They were in and out with one call. I had 2 other companies come out to fix the problem I had and both failed to find the problem and had to sleep in a very hot home for the night. I Then phoned solace the next morning. There customer service was excellent very friendly staff and very professional they quickly got someone out to my house with in minutes of the call. They came and quickly located the problem and gave me options on how to proceed. Within 30 min they got my system up and running and made sure the system was working properly! I highly recommend this company don’t look any where else friends!

We had a clog that we needed immediate help with. Solace was super responsive and came out the NEXT DAY to help diagnose our issue, which was a clog in the piping in our yard. They had the piping repaired first thing the next week. The plumbers were communicative, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We were extremely pleased with the work that was done and would use Solace again 100%.

My AC went out last night. I woke up and called Solace at 6:30 AM. They were very helpful and scheduled me for a repairman to come by at 2pm.

Around 930 am they called me and said they had a cancellation and could be there at 11am. The technician Jervarious actually arrived early at 10:45 am. He was incredibly nice and professional. My condenser wasnt coming on. Knowing I have an old unit, I assumed I'd have to replace the entire AC unit. However, Jervarious kept digging in to it and found that my zone board wasnt sending enough power to the condenser. Instead of paying $4,000+ dollars for a new unit, it ended up only costing $650. I was so thankful for his honesty and hard work. By 2pm, I had fully working air conditioning again.

I would recommend Solace to everyone. Great, fast service and top notch integrity.

Hearing you need your AC completely replaced is never a fun conversation. TJ at Solace was super respectful and made that conversation that much easier.
Solace not only came when they said they would but gives detailed quotes with options.

The day of the replacement TJ, Cade, and Chase spent the day at my house installing my new AC and making sure everything was done right and up to code. They were respectful of my house and made sure every speck was cleaned up after.

Not that I would choose to go through that again but if I had to I would choose Solace everytime!

Wanted to have ac unit looked at to ensure it continued to operate well in the extreme of this week. AJ was the technician that came. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He performed preventative maintenance and explained a couple of things to watch for in the future. Total cost for everything was $50, which is a good value. Totally satisfied.

The tech was very helpful in explaining the problem with my tankless water heater.

One of our toilets was stopped up or clogged bad. They came on time and were really quick, informative and safe. One less headache I have to worry about. And they gave me tips on how to keep it from happening again.

I highly recommend them for various services that they provide. I will be making another appointment soon for them to help fix the faucet in the same bathroom. It's dripping, and they told me what I need for it also. Really good people. I definitely appreciate them.

TJ was my technician and he went above and beyond the call of duty. Ryan was straight forward on the providing me the AC unit I need at a price that was reasonable. He was very professional and knowledgeable and work diligently to earn my business. Ben and Drew arrived on schedule and provided the best install, preserving my home during the entire process. These technicians faced many obstacles with their equipment and vehicle, but refused to give up on getting the system up and running. They stayed till late last night exhausting all options and apologized for not being able to get the system running. Alec arrived today and got the system running. Every team member that came into my home were greatly professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire installation process. Solace definitely deserves the 5 out of 5 stars and I will do business with them again and recommend them to others for their business needs. The company definitely has great personal working for them and hard-working to provide their customers with quality and treats them as a valued customer earning their business. Solace technician came and did a detailed inspection and even adjusted something the previous company has done wrong. He found no mold and no need to replace the units. Firstly, I had called to report an issue and it only took 2 days to have a tech sent to my house. I was lucky enough to get Denzell as my tech and not only did he troubleshoot and locate a clogged water overflow pump, he was extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to. We were so impressed with Solace. When our regular maintenance visit turned into a full unit replacement, they were honest about our options and very responsive. After running through four so called airconditioning services, Dylan always answered my phone calls & texts without fail, offered candid and realistic analysis with service, and hands down is probably the hardest working technician that Solace has to offer! These guys are GREAT at customer service. From the person who answers the call to the tech that was sent out. Please note - I did not get to use Solace's full services (explained further), however, I still felt the promptness in response time, the detailed explanation of my AC issues, and friendliness of all staff still deserved a decent review. They sent a technician by the name of Dylan out to my home to evaluate the issue. He took pics to show me and thoroughly explain his findings. It was realized I'd need an ENTIRE new unit, not just a quick fix. The only reason I could not go with Solace was *only* due to their 1st availability would be July 5th and I'd stumbled across a company I'd used in the past that could do it a couple weeks sooner. THIS is not a bad reflection of the company AT ALL. The turn of summer is an extremely busy time of year. It's just that with the southern summer heat reaching upwards of 100 degrees, I simply had to go with 1st available. I will definitely keep them in rotation for future calls, should an issue occur.

I contacted Solace by phone and asked them to check out my heating system for the winter months. The lady I spoke with was very responsive and scheduled an appointment for me for just three days later. Chris was my tech and he phoned in advance and arrived early. He was very friendly, dressed in a clean uniform and nice to my house dog. Chris did a thorough quick and efficient checkout of our system. I had supplied new filters for our system, but he said the existing filters weren't that dirty and they could last through the winter months. This is the first time a serviceman had told me this, and it was quite a savings since the filters cost over $200.00. Other techs have just automatically changed the filters and, if it wasn't really necessary, this was an unnecessary extra cost to me (and I'm on a fixed income). Chris also gave me some tips on the operation of my new smart ecobee thermostat. Anyway, Chris did a great job and Solace is now my go-to HVAC company!

I never take the time to write reviews, but Solace is worth making an exception. I've had them install a new condenser as well as a mini split for my detached garage. There have been slight issues with both, but what sets Solace apart is that they stand by their work and ~promptly~ address problems with anything they've installed.

Just yesterday I called because the new condenser wasn't cooling part of my house fully and no later than 10am today, it's already taken care of. Alex is a boss.

The prices are also incredibly competitive- the Samsung mini split I purchased wouldn't have been cheaper at any of the other companies I checked with, and the installation cost was super reasonable.

10/10 experience thus far, I strongly recommend them.

The only bad part was the expense.

Aaron, Chase, Cade, Tyler, and Conner all went out of their way to make sure to accurately diagnose the cause of the leak in my ceiling (very poor workmanship by the company that installed the AC unit just three years ago) and then to actually correct the real problem with complete professionalism. They arrived before they promised (they called me for permission to come early). They stayed over an hour assessing the situation, and they returned the next day (before the appointment time with a call to ask permission again) to do the work. They started at 4:30 p.m. and did not finish until 9 pm on a Friday night before a long holiday weekend. They provided me a detailed list of what was wrong, how it needed to be corrected, and an inspection report. Then I ended up needing freon, and I still ended up paying less than their original quote. I cannot recommend this company enough. I will only use Solace from this point forward!!!!

Bobby was great. Our A/C went out after normal business hours, but he arrived within a couple of hours of our call and had us up and running in no time.

Michael and Crystal did a great job replacing my kitchen faucet and were very knowledgeable regarding a problem with my bathtub drain hardware, which needed to be replaced. They were on time, professional, very friendly and polite, and got the work done in a timely manner. I’ve had other plumbers come to assess both issues that I had before, and was so disappointed with their lack of knowledge regarding the problems with the actual fixtures, but Michael knew exactly what was wrong within minutes and I’m so grateful that they were able to complete the work in a timely manner. They didn’t leave a mess, which is always appreciated, and I’ll definitely call them again the next time I have a plumbing issue.

WHY GO TO ANYONE ELSE?!?! TJ and Aaron (I believe was his name) have made a customer for life with me. As a tradesmen I never have the motivation or time to get much done at home after work. Which makes scheduling for repairs or services very difficult for me. After 4 attempts to get someone out same day to fix my dryer vent I stumbled across Solace on Facebook. I kid you not, TJ and Aaron was there ready to knock it out in less than a hour. I know TJ personally since we graduated together but that was in 2012. Since then we’ve been out of connect. But from back then he’s always been a motivated and respectful individual. Today’s world a service like Solace and company gave me is beyond appreciated. Just kick back and trust the pros. They fixed my issue in less than 30 mins with all new parts, communicated throughout the process, left no trash, treated my home like it was their own, and best yet they were very respectful and diligent. Great price and work. Great customer service. Had an issue with the size of the drain pan on initial installation and they worked to fix it up to code, no questions asked. Also used for a hot water heater fix and the plumbing team was great as well!

Timely and informative, I’ve used several companies over past few years and have received so so service, but Solace is top notched and is my company now!!

I called Solace and described the non-cooling of our AC. The tech, AJ, sent me a text and arrived on time. AJ is personable and proficient. He removed the front panel on the unit and found the problem almost immediately. Following that, he detailed the repair and replacement options; all well and good. The damaged terminal on the compressor was repaired with a kit, two days later the AC is cooling well... My criticism is pricing. Including the $89 diagnostic fee, which was not disclosed when I called Solace, (In fact, the website says Free Estimates), the bill was $379.00. AJ was here maybe 1.5 hours, including the time to check prices and provide several additional estimates. I doubt the repair kit cost $25.00.. Also, the estimates for additional repair/replacements included the $89 diagnostic fee again - which is inappropriate, since the diagnostics have already been done. In sum, aside from the charge being probably 40% too high, the service rating individually gets high marks.

Where do I begin with how amazing Conner, Aaron, and the entire team at Solace Heating and Air have been to my family? They have worked on finding the best financing for us when we need it most as our old system is on its last leg and not working to cool our house at all. Solace came out after I ruined a mini-split system trying to clean it. They recommended a new system to not only replace the existing one but also add another room to the new system.
We decided to have the job done and scheduled an install date. They came out and did an amazing job with the install checking and rechecking everything to ensure all components communicated flawlessly providing the right amount of temperature control.
The temperatures these installers were working in were easily above 100 degrees with humidity off the chain.
From the initial consult to the completion of installation Solace personnel were professional and obviously were very well trained as our new mini-split dual port Samsung Quantum works flawlessly and is the perfect size for our needs.

I have used Solace twice now. One time for an emergency repair on a weekend and once for a full system install. Needed a toilet flange repaired. Flange was cut years ago when we transitioned from a thick set mortar floor to standard. After new vinyl floors were recently installed, old flange no longer sat in the pipe properly, causing the toilet to rotate. Contacted Solace to come out and fix the old flange and reseat the toilet. They were very quick to respond, showed up when they said they would, and fixed the issue promptly. Very professional throughout the encounter and provided educational tips for future issues and/or repairs. Michael Claunch was the plumber that did the repairs.

My husband has been doing research for months on a new HVAC system and got five different quotes. One company never called back, one guy slammed the front door on the way out, and two companies tried to sell us units they had on hand which were not big enough or energy efficient. Solace was very reasonable in cost compared to other quotes and had what we wanted. We scheduled our appointment online for December 29. They called on December 28 and asked if they could come that afternoon instead. Seth provided us with a quote and offered to install it on December 29, but we needed one day to prepare so it was installed on December 30. The installation team was very nice and polite, cleaned up after themselves, and put on booties every time they entered the house. We had a couple of questions after the job was completed so my husband went into a chat session with Solace December 31 at approximately 9:00 p.m. We didn't expect to hear anything back until after the holiday weekend, but the Manager, Mr. Monroe, emailed my husband that same evening and again January 1. This experience has been 5 STAR in every respect and during a weekend holiday period which is unheard of. We chose the right company to do business with. I am incredibly impressed with Solace Heating and Air. My old HVAC system was not installed correctly after the previous homeowner build an addition. We had a ton of issues with the ductwork that resulted in our air conditioner not being able to keep up. Most companies were only interested in replacing the major components. Aaron gave me a courtesy call on his way then arrived right on time. Once he arrived we went over the problems and he got to work inspecting and measuring everything. He provided a detailed estimate showing what equipment was to be used and what modifications needed to be made on the ductwork. When I had a few questions Conner was responsive and very knowledgeable. I knew July wasn’t the ideal time to replace the system but the crew worked hard and got it wrapped up in 2 days, even with the miserable heat in a short attic. They were very professional during the install and kept me updated along the way even checking in on where I wanted some new ducts ran. The new system is working great and as an added benefit is super quiet. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire team. From start to finish the best company I have ever trusted my business to.

I woke up and learned my Nest thermostat was acting up. Strangely it seemed to clear up after about 30 minutes. Then the fan motor began to hum but not run. I looked at reviews and saw that Solace had some really good reviews. I went in to work for a half day and came home before lunch. I chatted with the technicians and explained what was wrong. They seemed quite knowledgeable and connected me to their dispatcher. I told Shannon I needed an appointment and when she learned I was already taking a half day she offered to have a crew come this afternoon. The two guys showed up early and immediately began to diagnose what was wrong. After that they gave me a list of things and quotes. They got to work and made the agreed upon repairs. Once the thermostat was working they learned that the blower motor was only starting intermittently and that was the source of the humming. They had the necessary replacement blower motor in their van and everything checked out. The system is working much better now and I am so pleased. This is a followup review. They called me to let me know of their fall heating system checkup special. We agreed on a date. Chris, their tech, showed up on time and looked everything over. He said everything was working fine. He did explain that my whole system is over thirty years old and probably doesn't have much life left. Given that I bought this house outright earlier this year (I had been lease/purchasing before), I was not surprised. He arranged to have the sales tech come and give me a quote. Seth, the sales tech, arrived twenty minutes later. After looking things over he sat down and gave me a very good explanation of my options. He quoted three different levels of equipment and I selected the one I felt comfortable with. He arranged to have the installation done the following week on my regular off day. Their crew showed up bright and early and began tearing the old system out. Their team was very respectful took very good care of everything. It was up and running performing nicely. Once again I want to recommend this company to anyone who needs their HVAC systems maintained or replaced. The care and attention to detail is outstanding. I am still very impressed. Jervarious was amazing! He called when he was on his way and arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He had everything taken care of quickly and explained what needed to be done before he completed the work. I had left a message last night and they went ahead and scheduled an appointment for this morning. Solace is always quick to respond and very thorough. I would recommend them to anyone.
