Boelke Hardware is my favorite hardware store of all time. If they don't have what you're looking for, they will get it for you. Had some hinges I needed to replace for cupboards and Gregg found the exact ones even though they were over 20 years old.

I needed very specific plumbing hardware that no large retailer carried at their physical stores. This shop was my last hope and upon first glance seemed very small. However, you find out very quickly that it is actually quite large inside and harbors both a backroom and a basement also filled with products. The owner was very knowledgeable and moved fast to accommodate my needs. I felt bad because I was taking up all of her time but understood she was just trying to provide stellar service, which she did. I was able to rig up my mother's sophisticated water filter system to the house main without any leakage because of her expertise. I'll just say that I'll be doing the vast majority of my home repair/etc shopping there from hereon. Thank you Boehlke Hardware & Plumbing!

Excellent customer service. Tech was onsite within twenty minutes of my call and had the main water shutoff valve out and replaced within twenty minutes of coming through the door. Highly recommended.

Called on Monday morning, they had availability that afternoon! About 2 hours later, I get a call that they are on their way!!
Installer was just amazing, he was familiar with our basement layout, did an excellent installation, even made a trip back to the office to get the drip pan we wanted (to prevent the wet carpet again). Jovial, friendly and did great work! Boehlke is our go to plumbing provider.

Boehlke's Hardware Store is virtually a fixture in the Mequon/Germantown area forever. The reasons they've lasted so long are as numerous as the inventory they spread out between their 3 floors of merchandise, and not simply the standard inventory found at nearly every other hardware store in the area. They only stock quality items and have managed to keep hard to find items that you can't find anywhere else. Save yourself some time next time you need a hard to find tool or household hardware item, start at Boehlke's. If they don't have it, it probably doesn't exist anymore, but if it does their helpful staff will either order it for you or tell you where you might find it faster, but my guess is it doesn't exist anymore.

Left a message Sunday night that I needed a new sump pump. Not an emergency. Owner called Monday morning and we had a new pump installed by 1:30. A good quality pump at a fair price with excellent service. They’re propane price is good too

We have had service people from Boehlke out to our house on 3 separate occasions for minor and major work. In every case the repairs and installations were done well, advice about how to prevent recurring problems was sound, and assistance making decisions about optional work was graciously given. All workers and installers were polite and personable and wore masks at all appropriate times. When they finished work their clean up was thorough. And their prices are well below nearby competitors. If you want work well done at a reasonable price and like to support local businesses, I strongly recommend Boehlke.
