David came to my home in Las Vegas promptly after calling and ran his sewer line snake in my apartment toilet drain. It was so clogged with roots he had to stop for fear of getting his snake stuck in the line a recommended service. This worked very well and cleared all the roots out of the line. I am very happy with their service.

Mr. Willard Johnson showed up on time, was very nice and efficient and knowledgeable. He took care of our broken kitchen sink quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Roto-Rooter.

Even though I live in Henderson and not Las Vegas. I called Roto-Rooter due to the good things I have read on line. David the Plumber came out to clear a line to the septic tank for me and even worked with me on the price. I also had David come in to see if he could spot the problem with the leak from my upper bath to the lower bathroom, but due to my son thinking he had found the problem, I let David go. I am happy to say that Ive not had another problem with that line and that was in September of 2011. Thanks Roto-Rooter!

I've lived in Las Vegas for 2 years with no need for a plumber.. until now. I didn't really know where to turn, but with the help of google and a strong brand name and sterling reputation, I figured I couldn't go wrong with Roto-Rooter. Google was right! Roto-Rooter was at the top of the list for a reason. The appointment scheduling was easy peasy and they were very flexible with my schedule. I love that they give free estimates!! When the plumbers got to my house, before they even got to my busted pipe out front, they spotted a leake on the city's side of my water meter and gave me instructions on how to get that fixed for free! When we did move onto my original leaky pipe out front, it was VERY obvious to me that these guys knew what they were talking about. They were very knowledgable which made it very easy to trust them. They were lightning fast with a quote and started working immediately! They were finished in no time and when they were done, they reviewed all the things they did to fix the pipe, tthey let me know that their work was guaranteed AND they even gave me a bottle of drain cleaner for free!! We had roots in our toilet pipe and received a great quote and quick service. I’m very happy with the results.

We had a sudden clog in the main drain pipe late in the afternoon and as promised they had someone there at the time they stated. This is the second time we've used Roto-Rooter and continued to get the same great service as the first time. Will call again if needed.

Las Vegas -Louie was able to come earlier than previously expected, which was great. He was knowledgeable and informative as he assessed the sewer line. He got down to business and did a great job cleaning out the line.

The technician who came was nice and courteous. He explained what was wrong with the drain and gave us some tips on how we can maintain the drain the way it is suppose to be maintained. He was very helpful.

Kris from Roto-Rooter came over to replace 4 faucet stems in both tubs,
as they were all leaking. He also replaced the corresponding seats
and did a superior job with all of them. He then replaced a tub spout and
2 faucet handles. There is no more leaking and everything looks great. Kris worked
cleanly and in a timely manner, and the price was great.

Called them to see if they could check why my two toilets were clogged. They came out, checked everything, unclogged my main line, and were finished all within the hour that I originally called. Super fast, very curtious.

I called to ask a question and Melissa was super rude. I would never use a company who is incapable of answering a phone call politely.

I called Roto-Rooter first because we had used them in the past and they did an excellent job. For this particular job we did get a lower estimate from another company so we will be using that company, but I will definitely call Roro-Rooter again if I have any future plumbing issues.

The plumber arrived within the time frame as expected to our G.V., Henderson house. Billy M. was professional, courteous & knowlegable. He explained what he was doing as he went along. (I kind of followed him as he worked to learn) He was also personable & made a nervous customer become calm.... He also had to deal w/us moving our 2 small dogs from place to place so he could work w/o their presence & barking....I give Billy an A+ for all he did for our house's plumb problems.

After having Goettl plumbing come out last night and try to soak me for 3500to4000 dollars to remove a water purifying unit which was leaking all over my kitchen bottom sink. The bottom was caving in due to the water collection over a period of time. Trish from Roto-Rooter got Tony out right away. He removed unit..wiring..capped it and replaced floorboard after Jason the mitigation expert came out and inspected for mold and water damage thank God there wasn't any or very little no mold. I paid half of what the other company charged.After experiencing such devastation with the loss of family members and a son who took advantage of mom with dementia and took everthing in these tumultuous times I was so happy to have Roto-Rooter on my side.

Wow is all I can say I used them in the past and can say they where very nice and did a great job. But this time for an estimate and the guy came out it went from finding a leak to saying he couldn’t fix it to he would have to do entire replumb of the whole house when I had the whole house replumbed already a year and a half ago so we have a leak and want it fixed. This is just ridiculous and then gave us a $7000 estimate for s replumb I am so done with people taking advantage of kind people Is there anymore nice people in this world I am so disappointed I am just trying to get things down before my baby arrives and I am so frustrated right now I give them one star

We had a plumber come out to us in Las Vegas because our pipe outside broke. We have had the same plumber 3 times. The price is always reasonable and he always fixes everything quickly and well.

I called Roto Rooter when my water heater quit working. They came out the same day, looked over the heater, gave me a price and did the job right then! Not only that, the price was the same price they quoted. Its nice to see an honest plumber. Ill be calling Roto Rooter for all my plumbing problems.

Wasted my day. I asked if they work on rv plumbing and they said yes. The guy gets here and tells me we don't work on rv's. The guy was rude. Then for something so simple to do I was told 1000 dollors. I'm was like are u for real. I do not recommend anyone going to these people they will try and rip u off. being a Mr do it all at my house, I like to take on every job that comes along when fixing
and rapairing things. this time it was different. The shower fixture has been leaking for a while so I decided it was time to fix it. the problem is that this fixture is kind of old and
has a lot of calcium built-up in it. when I disassemble it I came to a part where I had to decide if I had to work it's way out or I had to force it out. so I decided for the second.
The Final result: I end up breaking the cooper pipe so I called ROTOR-ROOTER,
Francisco Martinez our plumber came to our house and changed the whole part quickly and efficiently, besides he showed me a few hints to get this job done by myself.

The technician they sent out was very courteous and the work was completed after about 6.5 hours. Work was great but it was a second effort as the first thing he tried was not the cause of the problem. He didn't charge me for the part but still charged for the labor.

I had an emergancy situation over a long weekend. Roto answer led my call with a real person not an automated system. Once dispatched forward the call, Kris called back within 10 min. Kris lived up to his professional / expedient reputation as noted in other reviews. I know who I'm requesting if I have any other plumbing work I need done.

Btw it's Sunday and he only charged me $220 which included running to Home Depot for parts.

I picked this plumbing company because of all the good reviews, however I was disappointed in the pricing. The response time was great. A plumber came within two hours of contacting them. There is a small toy lounged in the toilet, obviously in the s curve of the toilet. I was quoted $375.00 to fix the problem. I could actually buy a good quality toilet for that price. The plumber went down to $300.00 when I expressed how I felt about the price but that was still a lot. He left and I contacted a different plumber from the thumbtack app and he was able to fix the problem for $65.00, big difference! I probably won't ever seek services from Roto-rooter again. I gave a star for how quick they responded, and one star for the techs honesty and one for his professionalism.

The owner MR. Robert insisted to charge for a service that was not complete, unexperienced worker showed up, and didn't even diagnosed the problem, just jumped into conclusions , bottom line the whole company was more interested to make more money than providing satisfactory service, will never call them again, I can't even give them 1 star, they all suck. After 30 minutes negotiating end up paying 275.00 for not doing anything, just for showing up, Trust me if I can humiliate them more in acceptable manner I would for sure. please see photo the way roto rooter employee left, even though got paid, GARBAGE, I am sorry for have to mark on a star otherwise will not be post the review, Unwillingly as they don't deserve even a zero.

The plumber arrived at 9:25 am (we were told it'd be between 8am-9am), so he was not too far out of that range. He was professional in appearance and mannerisms and did a good rob repairing our garbage disposal in a timely manner. The price was fair and we are pleased with the results.

They came, they saw, they fixed the problem. It cost less than $300 and the work is warrantied for 6 months. What more could you want?

here is the issue. After they completely ripped out our bathroom, and left it gutted we have YET to be contacted by ANYONE!! These guys push you to do restoration and then give the hardest time to get your bathroom back to NORMAL! My bathroom is STILL GUTTED AND UNUSABLE! Literally DO NOT USE THESE GUYS FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN A TOILET REPLACEMENT. Jesus this is a nightmare.

Our shower wouldn't turn off. Called Roter Rooter after hours to have them come take a look. The plumber said that it was something behind the wall and wanted to charge $2,500 to fix it. I declined. The actual issue was the cartridge in the handle had broken. Since it's a Moen all I had to do was call them and they sent me a brand new one. I watched a YouTube video on how to fix the issue and saved $2,500 because that wasn't the problem.

Roto Rooter Henderson is a dishonest ripoff! They installed a pump 3 weeks ago for $1000 ($400 labor for a 45 min job) and it already quit working. They now want me to pay for another because it was abused. Keep in mind they never told us anything about what we should or should not do when they installed it. Ray the owner was obstinate, condescending, and rude saying he has no responsibility and frankly could care less. Call anyone but these guys. BTW they showed up a day later than scheduled. 👎

When scheduling the gal I think Tiffany was very knowledgeable and pleasant...Elijah was able to get out 1 hour early and was very knowledgeable and took care of the our drain issue. Gave us some suggestions on better clearing of the grease build up in the line we will consider doing in the future !

I called Roto Rooter to perform a Leak Detection test. They sent a very friendly Plumber named Jonathan to my home in Las Vegas. He arrived on time and was very professional. He found the cause of the leak and performed the repair in a timely manner. I would definitely use Roto Rooter again for any future plumbing needs.

Appointment scheduled for 2pm to 4pm. It's now 5pm and nobody's here yet. Yes, we received a courtesy phone call, around 3pm, to say the tech was running about 45 minutes late ... but that doesn't help us at all. Why does this or any other business schedule appointments if they don't honor them????
It's now 5:05 and a technician just called and said I just got the call to come to your address. (What !!??!!??!!??!!??) Funny ... considering I called for an appointment, 2 days ago. I'm NOT impressed with this service.

Had my water heater go out at 4pm, Roto-Rooter was out by 5 and back in the morning at 9 with a new water heater for no more than I would have paid elsewhere but without the wait time. They saved me a huge headache, invoice number 38059, my tech Francisco was the best!

This company was very efficient. Setting the appointment on a holiday weekend was not difficult and the service tech was very friendly. I was very impressed and will use them again.

This company charges $300+ per hr. The owner laughed at me when I asked why he charges so much. I said it would be normal $100 per hr to cover all expenses. Parts not included. The owner said we charge way more than $100 per hr.

Another company charges me $50 for parts and a $260 repair service fee. Rotor Rooter tried to get $800 flat rate.

Yes they are there fast, maybes it's worth it for you if money's easy to spend for you. As a rental property owner this is for emergencies when no one else can come. These guys will over charge you alot!

You as a home owner do not need to feel trapped into paying $300 hr for work plus additional part fees, you can find other plumbers to do under $100 hr.

Plus they have an open permit from my water heater in 2011 installed in a small condo which I was charged $10,000 installed.
I overpaid $6,000 for a normal tankless I researched later goes for $1200 retail. Owner refuses to close the permit as its installed wrong I found out, owner did not want to refund me the difference for being over charged. Found out the technician at that time took the cash in the payment and stold it and was fired. Basically the technicians are making there own price. There's no standard fees other than the basic lowest charge of $175 which is high for a 15 min fix. Today they came ovee I was hoping they'd close the permit, but the same thing happened. Over priced $800 to fix an ignighter inside my water heater which cost in parts $55, I called the manufacturer.

Owner said for me to call someone else. And still permit is open. I'm contacting state contacting board at this point.

But if your looking for a good honest happy plumber who will not overcharge you this is not the company. The owners technicians are nice that came today, they are getting paid probably to upsell you so yes they are nice guys.

On Easter Sunday the pipes under my kitchen sink were leaking badly. I googled 24 hour emergency plumbing services and was routed to Roto Rooter. I contacted them and they advised a plumber would call within 30 mins. The plumber called shortly after and advised he was already on the way to my home. He showed up and fixed the problem within an hour. I was extremely impressed by how quickly everything was resolved, even on a holiday. And still no leaks today!

Very pleased with the work they did on a rental house we have in Las Vegas that really needs a major repair but we're trying to sell it. Manager from the office was very helpful in trying to figure out which repair to do when the roots get back in the line, which repair would suffice and still keep our costs down. So if we have to finally do the major repair down the road for the tenant, they will definitely be who we call to do it. Didn't get the debbie-downer attitude of how bad it is that some many technicians can do. Just tell me what it is and what my options are. thanks guys

We were having a problem with drain flies in our home. We live in a townhouse complex and have connected drains. Even though we keep an extremely clean home we felt out of control because our neighbor's cleanliness plays into our situation. Josh Mattson came to our home and listened to our concerns. He suggested snaking the drains and following up by shocking all drains with a product called pipe shield. There were specific instructions for use which he carefully explained and allowed us to write everything down so we completely understood. He even gave us his cell number and told us we could call him if we need any further explanation. You don't get customer service like that any more!! Thank You Josh!!!

I had to call a plumber today, and after searching the Yellow Pages I chose Roto-Rooter.
So glad I did, because like the fictional plumber, Josephine of the 60’ TV commercials they were Johnny on the spot. The new toilet was installed in record time, at an affordable price followed by a good cleanup after completion.

We had a very good experience and a plumber came to our house an hour upon securing an appointment. Our issue took place during the weekend, and we found that Roto Rooter was our best option in Las Vegas. The plumber took care of the issue in a quick manner, and we were happy with the result.

Called Roto-Rooter, made an appt. for early next day. Right on time, received phone call saying technician was on the way. Jose arrived, went right to work assessing the problem which could have ended with removal of bathroom sink and console and some wall damage. TGFRR !!! (that's Thank God for Roto-Rooter) After a quick trip to the supply store for a special item, he repaired the damage and replaced some pipe while the entire bathroom remained intact. My sigh of relief could probably be heard around the world. While here, he gave me an estimate on a kitchen problem and as soon as I am able I will have Jose back over here for that repair. I give this particular technician and Roto-Rooter my highest appreciation.

I called Roto-Rooter plumbers to check on my leaking water heater. It had to be replaced. The good thing was that water heater was still under warranty, which I did not know, so I had to pay for the work and some pipes only. If they didn't tell me that the water heater was under warranty they could ask for whole price, in which case I would just buy new water heater at Lowes and replace it on my own, because of the high price.

David, who was assigned plumber, did a good job on his own, but I thinik that they should have somebody helping him with such a haevy and large item(50 gal.), it would be done more smoothly. In my opinion, the price of $750 was bit high for the work done, considering that water heater was under warranty, otherwise would be around $1300 they say.

Scheduling process was bit complicated, I had to give them my address and info three times in two days. But it was still less complicated than Yes plumbing, another plumbing company which is heavily marketed here in Las Vegas, and which I declined for service because they were even more complicated.

If they had two guys working on handling the water heater, or some kind of doly for moving and lifting water heater, which would avoid scratches on my decorative garage floor, I would give them three stars regrdless of the price. They have to earn money too, I understand. I would still most likely call them for my future plumbing needs, since the company that I used before here in Las Vegas doesn't exist anymore. I am just wondering why?

They really know pipes and showed me the inside of my sewer using a camera. I always follow their recommendations to avoid a sewer backup. Plus they are nice to work with.

They are a rip-off. We needed a leaking kitchen faucet replaced in our rental property. Total charge was $682! . They do not carry even simple faucets in their truck, so they had to go to Lowe's to buy a faucet. The faucet cost $169, but they added a markup of $178 on the faucet. Then the faucet replacement labor was $335. So, all in all, $682 to replace one faucet!!!

It is an irrigation leak in the front. Its a small property but for the price they wanted to repair

The two gentlemen, Ryan & Jeff, were very polite, professional, on time, cleaned up after themselves, and explained everything in full detail and so on. They came and saw what I was looking for, gave me a price and were able to complete the work that day. They were very courteous of my schedule and time. They wanted to be sure I would be satisfied and they wouldn't interfere with anything I may have had planned, which is rare and I very much appreciated. I live in the Las Vegas area and the warranty company sent out a plumber who promptly told me I needed a new toilet for $400, after he shoved an entire roll of paper down the toilet and after telling me I purposly stuck a foreign object down the toilet. I called Roto Rooter and they sent out a great guy, Francisco, who quickly determined the problem, fixed the problem in 10 minutes, and told me I did not need to spend money on a new toilet! I love this company! They not only saved me money but were courteous from the start, on time, and really knew their trade! I definately recommend this company!!!!!

This is a reliable company. Goerge did an excellent job in repairing the pipe in my house toilet.
He is experienced and fast to detect the issue.

Roto Rooter sent Jared, one of their best plumbers, to my house just a couple hours after I called. He was thorough and fixed my leaky toilet quickly. He also gave me great tips on keeping my pipes working their best! I would definitely call them again for service in Las Vegas.

I called and scheduled for service to fix tow bathrooms and the other one knob was loose and the other one is a shower with no hot water. Dennis came in and just tighten the nut and check the other shower and I showed him the other property where the faucets are loose and leaking. So he I paid and he said he will order the parts and will call me back and then he never called me back. Since he just did the simple one and doesn't want to deal with the hard one. I won't trust to do business with them again.

I called Roto-Rooter on a Saturday afternoon because I needed a plumber in Las Vegas to repair the fixture in my shower. They were able to send someone out to give me a free estimate within a couple of hours. My technician, Alex was very professional and extremely efficient. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and how quickly he was able to repair the problem. I will definitely be using Roto-Rooter Plumbing again.

If you are about to call this Roto Rooter business in North Las Vegas for any kind of service, rest assured, the chances of you being ripped off are extremely high. Furthermore, if, like me, you are considering this business to perform plumbing or drain services based on all the glowing Google reviews (in excess 90), I can state with near certainty that most of these reviews are probably shill reviews submitted by the owner or family members or employees and probably not satisfied customers. I mean really, every review has a 4 or 5 star rating and nothing lower?? The odds of that happening are so low that you'd have better odds at the craps table before that would happen.

Here is my story: I needed a Positemp cartridge in a spare bathroom shower and garbage disposal in the kitchen removed and replaced with new parts I PURCHASED IN ADVANCE. I knew this was not a complicated or expensive job and yet I was charged $997.95!!! The next day I got a follow-up call from this Roto Rooter to see if I was pleased with the service and I let them know that I absolutely was NOT pleased in any way. I was assured that the owner would call me the next day to discuss my concerns. As you might guess, I got no such call (probably hoping I would forget about it and let it go). After a week and no call, I sent a letter with a copy of my invoice to Roto Rootor's corporate offices in Ohio and Iowa to let them know my experience, that they had a franchise owner preying on customers in Las Vegas and that they needed to be aware of it. Within a week I received a call from the franchise owner, Chuck Wojciechowski, to discuss my bill. He blamed the technician for improperly writing up the invoice and reluctantly offered a partial refund. At the same time I was having some repairs done in my home by a handyman friend and explained to my him the horrible experience I had with Roto Rooter. I asked him to give me an estimate for the same exact services performed by Roto Rooter and got an estimate of $155.00!!!. However, to get my refund I had to FAX a copy of this estimate to this Roto Rooter franchise before they would credit my credit card. If you don't think it could get worse, fast forward two months, and I find out that Chuck Wojciechowski has filed a complaint with the Nevada State Contractor's Board against my handyman for the estimate he gave me, not for any work he performed or was paid for!!! You can't make this stuff up! If I could rate this business with no stars, I would, but the worst you can rate is one star, unfortunately.

NOW, after having read this review, you are still willing to do business with these predators and you get ripped off, know you've been forewarned and leave a real review!

We were steered toward Roto-Rooter plumbing from a previous incident that was covered under our home warranty. Having just moved to Las Vegas we were not sure who to call or which company was reputable. We were impressed with the plumbers that arrived to correct the issue we were having at the time. When my wife found water leaking from a chandelier hanging downstairs, they were the first shop we thought of. The service technician, Jared, arrived as scheduled, quickly identified the issue, and had it corrected within two hours; which we felt was quick considering the nature of the work was between the first and second story of our home. Jared laid out a tarp to collect debris from the ceiling and was quick to clean up before leaving. He extended us a 10% military discount and left us with a bottle of their patented formula that prevents drain build up. We were pleased with the quality of his work and would recommend them to others if asked.

We had trouble with our garbage disposal and called Roto-Rooter to help us out. The plumber/technician, Francisco, did a wonderful job in assisting us. He took the time to show us what the problem was, how he was going to fix it, and, more importantly, what we can do if it happens again. We've lived in the Las Vegas-Henderson area for over 5 years and this has been one of the best customer service experiences we've had

I had a serious obstruction in my main sewer line. The roto-rooter guy showed up within two hours of making the call, got a signature, and had the problem resolved within one hour. From the person who contacted me (the dispatcher) to the technician (Jared) who performed the work on my water heater, this company provided a high degree of service. I required water heating service work on my 10 year old water heater; the technician, Jared thoroughly explained the repair process to me and provided suggestions on maintaining a healthy system. There was not strong arm sales pitch to replace the unit, which is always nice. Overall, my entire interaction with Roto-Rooter and the technician Jared was outstanding. Elijah was very courteous, prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He gave us options to best solve our problem with a 60 yr old house based on his assessment after a thorough examination. He cleaned up his work are leaving it cleaner than it was before his arrival. He fixed our sewer line and drains perfectly. He showed us the tree roots found in our sewer line and recommended a Hydro clean in the not to distant future to prolong the life of the drain.

Dr. Maria Gutierrez and I are very impressed with the quality of work preformed by Elijah and honestly feel Rotor Rooter gave exceptional service for the reasonable expense of the service. We will call them for future plumbing needs.

Jeff Hiltner came out to my house and was very professional. I had an issue with lighting the pilot on my water heater. Jeff tried it few times and came to the conclusion that the thermal coupler was bad. He went to his truck to write up a work order but then came back and tried one more time and got it to light . I recommend these guys for sure.

James arrived a few hours after I called. Very professional and knowledgeable. Knew exactly what to do. Answered all my questions . He double checked to be sure problem was solved. Second time I've called Roto-Rooter and happy with their service. Will definitely call them again if needed.
