We needed a concrete company to do the first home in a project-development. We reached out to Metro Concrete in a pinch, as our prior contractor backed out. They not only stepped in to complete the job, but got done ahead of what we expected them too in a last min pinch.

SSK Concrete does excellent work. The original plan was to form on Saturday and pour on Monday.
Shawn and his team managed to arrange the pour on Saturday as well.
They arrive at the exact time they said they would. Even let me know they were on their way.
Very professional. High quality work. They accomodated my every requirement. Graded the concrete with the proper slope to ensure water flows away from the house. Even accomodated 4 small footings not in the original plan.
Pricing was as fair as most yet better than some.
I recommend SSK Concrete and his team for any project large or small.

I Have a contract to pour a slab with this company, Had to put half the money down for the work to start. Told them we are ready for the slab and have not got a call back. Asked for the $2,088 depost that we gave them back and no one will return calls. Do not us this company !

Driver cleaned his chute in the street when we told him to use our trailer. Burned us with the inspector and left us to clean up his mess.

This company was hired by the contracting company I hired to add a bathroom to my house. Pretty much ever step of the project was a nightmare. Some key issues:
1. They destroyed my yard and never fixed it after promising several times to fix it.
2. They did not measure key plumbing pipes right and ended up having to jack hammer the foundation 3 times to make it right.
3 .The foundation they poured cracked in half 2 months after being poured.
4. They were off so much on the foundation that they had to cut the pre-engineered roof supports just to make it fit barely passing inspection.
5. The tractor operator was so careless he broke the sewer pipes, smashed my hose box, and left huge impressions in the yard that they never fixed.
6. The plumbing diggers paid no attention to the utility markings and broke a buried electrical conduit.
7. They hooked up their tools to common household outlets frying a couple of breakers.
8. The cement they poured for the patio was not level right and water pools up next to the door.
9. They constantly left the job-site a complete mess and wide open. I am still picking up nails and cigarette butts from my yard.
10, When installing water lines they crushed an air duct in the wall which was very expensive to fix.
11. Took them 5 different times to install a brand new bathtub and make it straight and level.
12. They were suppose to brace the water pipes every 3 feet, instead they braced it every 6 feet.
12. Used cardboard boxes to form cement and never removed them embedding them into cement. Huge termite problem.

RUN! They have you sign a contract BUT do not hold up their end of it. Take half of the quoted price and do not finish the work. They left a huge mess in my yard and refused to come back and clean it up. I had to hire 1-800-JUNK to come remove their mess! Miguel said he would pay for the removal, but then refused to pay after the junk was removed. Very disappointed in the companies work ethic. They now have my money for work that was not completed and then had to spend money to have their mess removed. STAY AWAY! See attached pictures.

Scheduled an appointment, called and checked status before hand, no call no show. Won’t answer calls or emails. Voicemail is full. Won’t be calling them again.

I had these guys put 125' of curbing in my front yard while I was at work. For the most part it looked pretty good. Its not the best quality concrete mix out there but I'm thinking it will hold up. The first thing I noticed when I got home was a good sized lump right in the middle of my front yard. I contacted them and was told they charge more for any prep work and that their machine will follow the ground. I then told him that if I was contacted telling me there would be a lump in my yard I would have paid to have them take 3 minutes to level out the roughly 2-3 feet of uneven ground. They would not come back to fix it without charging me more which I understand but what I don't understand is it could have taken a 20 second phone call or text to let me know and very easily taken care of.
