Carlos is a solid, reliable plumber. We have used his services more than once. He installed a new water heater in my home, connected my washer and fixed a busted water pipe in my front yard that required some minor excavation. Solid plumbing and drains got contracted by my home warranty (AHS) to provide a water heater repair. They came on-site for 5 mins based on what I saw on my Ring camera took a quick look at my unit and they determined I needed a new water heater. AHS agreed to the request for a new unit and everything seemed like it was going in a great direction. However, Solid Plumbing and Drains did not notify AHS that I needed to pay $2,000 on out of pocket cost before they can even go through with the installation of my already approved water heater. It took 3 days to get an official report for the out of pocket cost which were the following- I did not have a expansion tank, I did not have a sediment trap, I had a gate valve and they don’t touch those so I needed that replace with a ball valve (I did not have a gate valve), a vent that was crooked and needed to be properly fixed ( I told them I can do that)- those were the 4 items that came out to be $2,000 , that did not include the water heater unit price and did not include the installment.

All I have to say I took a $450 check from AHS and got my unit fix through someone else who doesn’t nickel- and Dime people on todays economy.

Such a great team! We had a small flood that led to us looking at the pipes. They replaced all our old copper pipes and even fixed the main line pipes that used to stick out in the front yard. From the moment we started the GM Juan was there. He explained everything thoroughly and was always at our disposal. James and Chad were always on time and professional.
